Architectural Openings & Access: what do users think?
Todd Frisbie: Most parts were available.
Erick Leininger: I wish I could give half stars on google since I think 4-1/2 is really where I’d put my rating for AOA. We went to AOA to look at options to replace our front entry from Therma-Tru. Bob came to our home on the weekend and had catalogs and samples to help explain the products. He was patient and did a great job going over every aspect of the product. Our entry presented some unique challenges since it consisted of a door, two sidelights, and an arched transom, which Therma-Tru does not provide. Bob left our first meeting with some homework to do, but within a few days time, he was in touch with a solution. We met a 2nd time - again on a Saturday - to review all the details, finalize the specs, and take measurements. Due to the nature of the project, Bob also set up a time to bring the installer over to review the project and to confirm measurements. When installation came, the installers were great. The crew was professional, courteous, and well prepared. Their attention to detail and skill is evident in the final results. The project was not without problems. Every project has them, but what’s important is how someone deals with them. It’s also important to note here that the issues we had were not caused by AOA; they were issues in the fabrication process of the transom and the door hardware that made it through QC and onto the project. Regardless, AOA stood behind the products and worked to correct the issues to deliver a final product that met our specifications. The only reason I cannot provide a 5 star review is that communication towards the end of the project was a little problematic. On the day the replacement transom was scheduled to be installed, I rushed home from my office for the 12pm install start time. At 12:50pm the installer called me to “give me a heads up” that they were running late and may not make the appointment today. Had the call been made before the appointment, it would have been easy to rearrange my day and reschedule the appointment without much impact. In summary, AOA was able to work with 3 different vendors to provide a final, cohesive solution that looks fantastic. The people at AOA are wonderful and reliable, and I would absolutely do business with them again, despite the minor communication issues we had. Give them a call if you’re in the market for a new door. You won’t be disappointed!
Dena Holzmann: Horrible experience! Poorly managed. No communication. I get the feeling this company doesn't really care about the "small" residential projects.Every time one of their sub-contractor came to my house I was left with zero information or status and never heard from the project coordinator until I reached out to ask what was going on and why they thought they were finished. The coordinator did not keep track of open points and when sub-contractors showed up they asked me what they were there to fix because the coordinator was such a terrible communicator. This happened at least 6 times that they were at my house. Always late. Took 6 months to wrap up open points. And now I have water leaking in...
Dave Smith: Awful experience. We ordered 2 doors and had them installed. The sub contractor they used was incredible and will be giving them a great review. I would never recommend this company to anyone as their communication with clients is awfull. Their follow up appointment to install a screen that was wrong initially showed up an hour late and I never received a call or email from AOA or the technician. This wasn't just a one time ooopsie. These issues were apparent through the entire 3 month process
Kenneth Kaminski: Very friendly service
Scott Hardy: The best, most professional company in this trade. Hiring them to check and repair the weatherstripping on our exterior doors has easily paid for itself in energy savings and peace of mind.
Gary Wright: Friendly people easy access
Keith Gibson: Gre group of people!!

AOA Window & Door: what do users think?
Sam Samsell: Bob came out and looked at all of our Marvin Windows. Gave me suggestions on how to care for the windows that needed some TLC. Repaired one of the windows. Did not try to sell me something I didn't need. Excellent service
L Disme: Worst company I have ever dealt with. I did not get the windows that I told the salesman I wanted. I made the mistake of asking for a signed contract when he wanted me to just mail in the down payment. In March 2021, I was told and it was stated on the contract, expected time to install was 3-4 months. No communication from salesman as that time passed, nor after the next given estimate date passed. I got upset and a little rude, and tried to cancel early July, he got even ruder. Installation by sub contractors on Sept 13 with defective patio door and missing parts. When the salesman came to inspect he kept threatening to leave because I was not satisfied with the scratched dirty frames and windows, and the poor workmanship on the patio door installation. He did walk out without letting me know how the issues would be addressed. I tried to contact the owners by phone messages and emails, but got no response until Oct 21 from the salesman, stating parts were not due until after the 1st of Nov. On Nov 30 a different crew took a half day to repair the poor workmanship. I paid a lot of money to be left feeling that I was better off with the 30+ years old windows and patio door than dealing with this horrible company.
Juanita Leosh: We live in a condo with a French door that leads to our 3 season room. The previous owner locked herself out in the 2nd story room and dug her way back in, completely destroying the door, the frame, the strike plate, etc. We contacted Bob for a quote for a new door unit after our first quote came in at over $10,000 for a retail price, a 2nd "special" price and a 3rd "if you sign today" price. (yikes). Bob came to our home to assess the problem and provide a quote. The very first thing he did was to repair the door so that it will work properly for the winter. WOW! We asked him to submit his quote for the work and a separate invoice for his repair. We were knocked out when he said there would be no charge for his temporary "fix". I can't promise he'll do the same for you but I can tell you that a man who feels his job is his "calling" is a rarity in business these days. Talk about no pressure!! We're awaiting his quote for replacement but we're pretty sure that it will also exceed our expectations and meet our budget. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Give him a call!
Kenton Hancock: Bob worked with us on picking the type of products we would need and made sure that everything arrived as timely as possible with all of the challenges in a covid economy. He actively communicated and helped us get the right products. We love the final results.
Donald Bryant: Recently had a window to door project completed by AOA and we couldn't be more pleased with the effort, thought, and craftsmanship that was put in by AOA. There was one small negative in the process that we experienced that I feel is note worthy for someone giving consideration to having work done by them. I am rating this company 5 stars because the work was completed within our initial timeline and the quality exceeded our expectations, but there were times that I experienced a tad bit of anxiety wondering if it would be completed before snowfall. The feeling of anxiety was driven by some communication lapses that I felt sometimes bordered on unacceptable. With 2020 being what it has been I feel that it would be unfair to pin material delays and or project completions pushes on this company fully, but in my humble opinion the scheduling and communication of delays does need some improvement and may be of concern when contracting them for other perspective customers.I would also like to mention that our communication issues were resolved in fairly short order when our account was moved to another account manager. All and all, I would, without a doubt recommend this company for a door/window project.
Norm Brady: I am a very satisfied customer! AOA installed a sliding door where a window used to be. There was nothing "standard" about the job and everything had to be custom fit. - Its perfect! The AOA team did a great job of communicating throughout the process. They came when they said they would come, and I feel that I received a very fair price. I highly recommend AOA and would not hesitate to use them again.
Corrina Scholten: Customer service at it's best! I cannot say enough good things about Bob and AOA. They value your satisfaction from start to finish - and that right there has made a world of difference for us. We will definitely be using AOA for our future projects.
Michael Schuitema: Within this last Month (July 2019) my neighbor and I (Mike Schuitema) had the pleasure of purchasing Windows from AOA Design Center. I normally do not submit Reviews. However, I am so pleased with the "Quality" of their Product, Sales Staff and the Installers I have to share my expierence. Our Condo Complex (Northwood Hills) are very particular on whom and what Windows can be Installed. As a Consumer with 42 Years of Law Enforcement experience; let it just say "I do my Homework"! Do not be fooled my Heavy Marketing; things like "Half Off with TV, Radio and Print Media. Take a investigative approach to your "Purchase" of Windows. I urge you to go into their Show Room and take a look at their Product! Then do some comparisons with whomever! If something is "Too Good To Be True it most likely is not!Mr. Spoolsta and Sara at AOA were Professional, Friendly as well as knowledgeable! I would like to add the Installers Jason and Ler were very thorough and respectful! They made sure the Installation of both mine and my neighbors as Precise and Correct! To Top it all Off they were very meticulous in their Preparation and final Clean Up!Thanks Bob, Sara, Jason and Ler!Yours in service,Michael (Mike) K. Schuitemaaka: Chief and/or Sergeant Mike
Mark Baron: These folks really know what they're doing. A wide variety of windows on display to choose from, knowledgeable sales staff ( thanks Diana) and excellent installation.

Pella Windows & Doors of Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Melvin Behm: They were no help for repair
Michelle Nichols: Update 5/15/2023- Pella finally installed the last window in February but the trim was the wrong color and one of the other windows that were previously installed now has issues and is unable to close. Service came out as scheduled and was very pleasant. He told me they would be out within a few weeks to fix the issues. Well here we are 2-3 months later and I have heard nothing. I am noticing a trend with how this business is run.Ordered windows March of 2021 and was told installation would be in 6 months which was not. Here we are October 26 and my last window that was going to be replaced this Friday has now moved to JANUARY OF 2023!!!!! On top of this I was charged $28,000 and I now have to pay for the windows that are not even installed yet. If I would have known this was going to happen I would have gone with WallSide Windows and be done by now!Not a happy customer and will never refer to my clients.Update on 1/24/2023 - First I emailed the customer service as asked on this review and never got a response. Second I was called yet again to reschedule the installation. This is becoming such an ordeal esp when I am being charged for the window that is not installed. As I was very angry on the phone I kept drilling for questions such as when was the first order delivered and when did I first order? I threw in that I was very upset that no one in the company bothered to call and apologize and be truthful. Come to find out they broke my window and didn't want to be blamed for it so they used the economy as an excuse.I will give another update next week to see if they actually come this time.
Lauren Wolf: My mom needed a window replaced after it was accidentally broken by the people working on her deck. The home was built with Pella windows over 30 years ago! I mentioned this to the right friend at the right time because she recommended I contact Chris Kennamer, sales representative, and I could not have asked for a better experience! Chris responded quickly and even came for the in-home consultation the very next morning! I was a little worried since I couldn't be there to assist my mom in case it was needed during the consultation, but she called me afterwards and just raved about how helpful, knowledgeable, and professional Chris was. It is clear that Chris is service and customer oriented. Here is a specific example: We did not expect him to contact and coordinate next steps directly with the outside deck company, but he did so without hesitation so my mom wouldn't have to. It seems like most sales/service companies are satisfied with the bare minimum required to get a job done, so I was really impressed (and grateful) that he went this extra mile to help. We will certainly be recommending Pella and Chris to others in the future! Thank you for all your help.Service:General window replacement
Tim Hooey: Positive:ProfessionalismDerek Worley gave us an estimate on what needed to be replaced. He was very personable, as well as professional. He was very knowledgeable about everything we discussed as to our needs, and wants with the job.Service:Casement window installation replacement
Lynn Armentrout: The sales agent, Derek Worley, really went out of his way to show me how the windows I have work (because I just bought the house). He also gave me a lot of helpful and honest advice about my doors. He didn't just give me an estimate for window replacement--he shared knowledge and help. If I do replace the windows I'm going with this company.
Todd F: Positive:Professionalism,ValueSuper happy with my experience with Pella Windows & Doors of Grand Rapids. Derek Worley did a great job informing us of all of our options and explaining the advantages of Pella windows. Can't wait until our windows are installed!Service:Window installation
Marie Weir: Service:Casement window installation replacementPositive:Professionalism
Stan Gonsior: My wife and I were very pleased with our first appointment with Derek W. We are planning on having a couple Pella windows replaced at our condo. Derek provided an honest, expert assessment of the condition of our windows and explained in detail our options for replacement windows. He was polite and did not pressure us to make any commitment. We highly recommend Derek as a Pella representative.Service:General window replacement
Janet Hanson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueFrom start to finish we had an excellent experience with Scott Mervenne and Pella Windows. The people and product were top notch.Service:General window replacement
Matthew Kellen: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueDerek has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to really care about our project and making sure that we got exactly what we need. Peter Van Dessel: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe experience was excellent! Roger Hekstra is likeable, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend him, and Pella, to anyone.Service:Window installation
Travis McDonald: My wife and I have been wanting to build our dream home for a while now but we weren’t sure where to start. Mike Panko met us in the showroom and was very helpful! We looked at our drawing plans and discussed possible options and what he has been seeing out in the field. We felt much better after we met with Mike after we learned more about windows and doors and are looking forward to getting our windows!Services:Window installation,Sliding glass door installation replacement
David Nadeau: I have been very happy with the entire experience. From the time of discussing options with the representative Jacob all the way through installation this has been nothing but professional. I'm actually doing another home repair with our screened-in porch converting into a three season room with Windows and doors. I look forward to continuing to work with Jacob in the future for our window and door needs.Service:Sliding glass door installation replacement
Deb M: I would never use Pella again. 8 years later, multiple service requests with no results or solution, and I'm still dealing with windows that you can LITERALLY see daylight through the sash and window. Absolutely shameful. DO NOT use Pella for custom size windows.
Hunter Dabrowski: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,ResponsivenessRourke Mullins was fantastic to work with when we recently picked out windows for our home remodel! He made the process smooth and enjoyable. I was very pleased with the insight Rourke provided into different product options and never hesitated to answer our many questions. Thanks, Rourke!
Ismaeel Hashemi: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWe worked with Rourke Mullins. He was very knowledgeable about windows- and made the whole experience very seamless for us. We were nervous going in having to replace windows- rourke made us feel at ease and guided us throughout. Very approachable and kind!Service:General window replacement
Emily Burden: Mike P. showed me the different product lines and helped me to make decisions I was entirely unsure of. Mike provided a quote in a timely manner and was available when I had questions… and I had a lot.I’m incredibly satisfied with my new slider and highly recommend visiting their space and working with Mike for your next window replacement or repair!Service:Sliding glass door installation replacement
Pamela Mosher: I found Pella Rep Dustin Yoder on our neighborhood Facebook site, and reached out for a quote on window replacement. He responded promptly, and was very accommodating during our scheduling process. Dustin is extremely personable, and very knowledgeable of the products that were available, and it was quite obvious, that he takes pride in his work. I would recommend Dustin to family, friends, and neighbors over a big box store anytime. Honest and trustworthy, is how I would best describe Dustin.Service:Casement window installation replacement
Juanita Newsome: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,ResponsivenessJacob was an absolute joy to work with. He is professional, engaging, personable and a great listener. The fact that he brought the actual material that would be installed was awesome.Services:Window installation,Sliding glass door installation replacement,Vinyl window installation replacement
Jason Schmidt: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,ResponsivenessI was connected with Carter DeHaan as my sales rep for ordering some Pella windows. He was very knowledgeable with the product and helped us identify the best window for our price budget. My wife and I would recommend Carter and Pella to others that are looking into building their new house.

Polar Seal Windows: what do users think?
Rex and Traci Gulch: Highly recommend Polar Seal! We went with Polar Seal because they were local, had a reasonable price, and stand behind their product. We replaced all our house windows as well as our patio door. Our sales rep, Rachel, explained things well and offered some options on a couple of our windows that we had not considered. She was very responsive to our followup emails and answered all our questions. Our installers, Monty, John, and Chris, were amazing! They were extremely friendly, answered all our questions, very professional, and cleaned up afterwards really well. Very impressed from start to finish.
Richard Ignatowski: I got my windows I installed about 2 weeks ago and I should have been pleased but I was not.I should have watched the installer I think corners were cut.the two people he had with him were inexperienced and were young.they finished the trim and they put. 3/4" bead of caulk around the window and left exposed foam on the top that was not caulked or trimmed. The windows leaked on the bottom 2 corners(basement windows) when the wind blew.i called polar seal and they sent man down and all he did was trim high corner welds with a box cutter.Well it was windy and all the windows leaked.the corners on the bulb tape and weather seal had all the corners open it should be one continuous seal. I called 2 days ago still waiting on a response.what is the sense of getting new windows of they all leak. I am not happy with the polar seal windows at all I paid thousands for a window that was sub par including the design especially what di do now
Wendy Stuart: I had Polar Seals put windows in for me in 2020. The 3 guys that came to do the work didn’t do a very good job. So I had to have Polar Seals come back a few times to make it look good. I was very impressed with their effort to make things right and they worked hard to earn my customer satisfaction too! I was especially impressed with Rachael, Willard and Alan! They are very helpful, kind, friendly and have awesome customer service skills! (which lacks these days with employees, especially this generation.) Thank you Polar Seals for living up to your name! It’s hard to find businesses like this anymore! I would recommend them to my friends and family!
Brad: Aaron and his team did a great job installing 9 windows. Very happy with how the entire process went, and the windows are a good fit and finish. Thank You!
Caryn Milano: VERY MUCH appreciate them
John Haga: Long 8 month lead time for patio door replacement but once the door was in they called to say they would be here at 7AM. They arrived by 7:15AM. The 2 man crew were very personable and proffessional. they finished by 10AM and were meticuloisly clean. the vacummed inside and out and even washed the glass so was sparkllng clean. Would definitely recomnend Polar Seal. Quality of door is excellent
Crystal Stegehuis: I can’t say enough about our experience with Polar Seal. From the sales team to our installers. Anytime I had a question my emails were answered within 24 hours but usually within a couple hours. The installers did a great job and finished when they promised. Great experience
Roger Pickerd Jr: Cool people to work with
Sara VanHorn: We have placed an order for new windows. Salesperson, Rachael, was very knowledgeable.
Justin: I had several quotes for windows and I settled with Polar Seal because the sales rep (Rachel) was very nice and it was NO pressure sales, versus receiving multiple calls from other companies that tried to pressure me to make my decision quickly. The windows looked of good quality and their reviews seemed to be good. I waited about 7+ months for the install from the time I put down my down payment, and I knew about the wait times, so I was perfectly okay with all of that. When I did receive the call for my windows to be put in I was excited to finally have windows that didn't leak! I was told it would take 1-2 days and the install was scheduled. The crew came and they seemed friendly and they started the job. The entire time they were doing the job I felt like I had to watch everything they did, cause they were trying to cut corners with foam and if I wouldn't have requested them to replace some of the rotten wood, it would have been left there. There were so many small things that they just would have let be if I didn't speak up, and I feel those things should have not required me to say a thing! I wasn't confident about the job and how the windows were being mounted to thin wood that was barely even attached to the cinder block, that I was told I should contact the supervisor there, cause the main installer said he didn't feel confident about attaching HIS name to this job. The supervisor came out and tried to ensure me that everything would be okay and that the install would be fine. After 4 days of them being here and me constantly reminding them to use foam in spots where it was obvious they should and plenty of other things, I was just worn out and feel I picked a company that didn't care about quality work. They had to re-do some of the aluminum wrap around a few windows and instead of scraping the caulk that was previously used, they caulked OVER the existing caulk! That is something that you just don't do if you want good adhesion and you want the job to look professional. It was just issue after issue and they finally got done and didn't clean any of the windows and broke one of the screens. I called the owner cause I felt like he should know about my experience and he said he would have the issues addressed and I never heard back until I called back weeks later. The screen was finally replaced and they came and re-caulked a few spots, but all in all I definitely would NOT do this over again! For the price I paid I feel like they should have been close to perfect, but the caulking around some of the windows looks like a beginner did the work and I feel like if I hadn't been there than who knows what they wouldn't have done properly. I'm hoping if any issues arise the warranty will be honored, but I just cannot recommend Polar Seal at this time and I REALLY didn't want to write this review...
Carlos Hidalgo: They came. Measured. Delivered a beautiful looking and well engineered sliding door. Their installing team--courteous and professional did an excellent install. Results? A+ on all levels.
Ashley Dinkel: Had a hide front window replaced and a new slider installed. All quality products. Project completed in one day. I'd like to mention the sales rep(Rachel) was upfront about the delays from COVID and resources, our wait til was 6 months. It was worth it. Beautiful products, professional crew members.
Dillaman nixon: Polar seal is a great company with top quality products and services in west Michigan since 1950. For fast friendly quality service you can't get any better than polar seal.
Trevor S: Before I called Polar Seal, I shopped around and came across another window company who gave me a quote for 11 new vinyl replacement windows. Quoted me onsite for white in/white out, 9 double hung windows, and 2 large picture windows, ~$16k. For white in/black out the price jumped to almost ~$18k. Not being in the window market for awhile I decided to call Polar Seal, man I'm glad I did.Lisa came out and was very pleasant and helpful. She offered alternative suggestions to our window needs and was able to configure our window spaces for a more efficient product. Polar Seal quoted me ~$10k for 8 Double Hung windows. We were able to drop a few double hung in lieu of a sliding window, or replacing it with a picture window.I also appreciated that Polar Seal uses aluminum screens rather that the fiberglass, I was also attracted to the locally made product that provided jobs here locally in GR. For a company that's been local for 70+ years and still providing quality products means they stand by their product and warranty. The only downfall with Polar Seal was the lead time (install around October), but being in the construction industry, I am more than understanding about current lead times in these difficult times.I will update once they are installed October!
Joyce Kuete: My experience with Polar Seal service was beyond my expectations today. Matt made me a believer in going with a local company who stand behind their warranty and I can't be happier with the results. These windows are going to last for a long time and the seal is making it quiet and no air leaks anymore! Thank you Matt. Great job!!
Thomas Spica: After five quotes from companies in the area to replace my original metal frame living room and dining room windows that didn't open I decided to go with Polar Seal and was not disappointed. My decision was based on a few factors; first, they build their own products here and guarantee the work, Second, they have their own hired in crew (no subcontracting for install), and lastly, their price was reasonable. I did encounter an issue with one of the windows post install, but they stood by their customer satisfaction guarantee and were quick to take a look and address it. My windows look great and I can't wait for warmer weather to open them and let some fresh air in!
Paul Levine: Polar Seal Windows offers a Michigan-based quality product with excellent customer service and support. Our patio door-wall and our house windows were locally installed, providing an attractive custom-fitted energy saving solution for our home.
Shawn Tyrrell: Love this place
Logan Williams: Excellent customer service, with quality product.
Ravennaal: All I can say is WOW. What a difference these windows make. We live in an older home and for 9 years we had been paying around $150 a month for heating bills. We've had Polar Seal windows for the last 2 years and our heating bills have been cut by about $50-$60 a month. Plus NO drafts. These windows look great, work perfectly and they replaced all our windows in only 2 days. I only wish we had the money to replace them years ago when we first moved in because they would have paid for themselves by now with the savings in our heating bill. I highly recommend them.
Steve Groen: I wish every company operated like Polar Seal - a great product at a fair price, no high pressure sales pitch and professional installation. Would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Rachel. the sales rep who came to our house, recommended a different type of window that my wife and I hadn't even considered. We took her advise and the windows are a big improvement over what we had before. Thanks Polar Seal!

Champion Replacement Windows of Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Doug Snyder: We had an appointment to get a quote for a new sunroom. I received one voicemail and two separate texts confirming our appointment the next day. On the day of our appointment I received a text saying the rep had a schedule conflict and couldn't make it. I called the number it said to for rescheduling. I explained we were upset and it was unprofessional to get a text that close to the appointment that they were not showing up. The lady said that she would ask the Grand Rapids area manager to call me. I never heard back from anyone. The only communication I received was a "quality survey" about our appointment. They obviously are not very organized and could care less about customer service. I am surely not going to hire them for a project if that can not even manage their appointments. Will never use this company.
Alecia Terpstra: Very happy with the saleService:Window installation
James Bond: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis company is horrible l. Save yourself time and money and contact someone else
andy herbst: Had a quote yesterday. I told them this is my second of 3 quotes I’m getting. First thing I was told is the offer is for today only and pricing will go up tomorrow. As soon as I told him the price of my other quote I received he quoted me more then double almost tripled the other quote. First quote was for 22k for a house full of windows and he quoted me 40-60k without even measuring 1 window. He asked why I called them and I told him I seen the buy 2 get two promotion and he told the cheapest window they make starts off at $3000. Guy was very rude and all he did was try to talk down the other company I got a quote from. I asked him to leave within 10 mins. Don’t use this company.
Mackenzie Horton: We purchased our windows around the end of March from Spencer, who was very professional and did not come across as pushy at all for a salesman, which is appreciated. The windows were installed a couple days ago by Will and Wayne (don't quote me on their names... I can't remember for sure), and again it was very professionally done and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. They were also very helpful when it came to working around my crazy dogs. Even though it's only been a few days, we have already noticed a significant difference in how much cooler our house stays during the day. Our windows face East/West so the house used to significantly heat up once the sun would rise. Yesterday I came home from work and it was 80 degrees and sunny outside and the house was still at 69 degrees! This will definitely make a difference in our electric bill once we turn on the AC for summer!Service:General window replacement
Franciene Brown: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe Champion sales person was very knowledgeable, thorough and great representation of Champion Windows. I appreciate how the sales rep didn’t degrade other companies to highlight Champion. He allowed Champion’s windows sale themselves. I definitely would refer them to friends and family membersServices:General window replacement,Sliding glass door installation replacement
Paul Haas: We're looking to replace our old single pane windows. We contacted several companies in the area. Adam from Champion was the third person to show us their windows. His presentation was thorough and he fairly represented how Champion windows compare to others on the market. The key, is that he zeroed in on what we were looking for and checked all the boxes.Service:General window replacement
Realtor Trina Lee: BUYERS BEWARE - Installers are subcontractors. My installer came to my duplex with his family in his van (after multiple rescheduled installations). They installed 3 windows 2 of them fall off the tracks and don't lock. Installer asked my tenant for gas money. Horrible experience.
roberto estrada: We have a real nice windows,we paid more, but, better quality, professional installation and something else life time guarantee,I recommend Champion replacement, they did a great job
Ron Huron: Just ordered windows
eleaser campbell: Positive:Professionalism,PunctualitySpencer (the sales rep) was on time, very professional, answered all my questions and the window demonstration was very helpful with my decision on getting my windows installed by Champion Windows.Service:Vinyl window installation replacement
Kelly Rienstra: We had them put windows in years ago. I have had my tabs on my screens break a few times and had to have them sent to me to replace. The last time I had to do this it took 4 months, 3 phones calls and a email before they actually brought them to me. I paid a lot of money for these windows. Now the gas is broke in my window. They want to charge me $119 to come look at my window. That is ridiculous considering what I spent on the whole house of windows that were supposed to be guaranteed.Service:General window replacement
David Burns: Critical:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe had the worst experience with this company, do not use them!!! They are impossible to get ahold off, have poor quality, and do NOT keep up with their commitments. Do no waste your money with this company as I promise you will be disappointed. If you don't believe me go read their BBB ratings. STAY AWAY!Services:Double pane window installation replacement,Window repair,General window replacement,Window installation
Gene Willacker: Update 2023-03-29:The windows are really quite good. They help retain a lot of heat in the winter. Clever construction makes exterior cleaning very easy from inside the house. Ours were installed by a subcontractor.Shopping tips:Expensive but looks like well-made, high quality products. Just don't let your elderly parent meet with them alone. A special discount will be offered that is only valid until the salesman leaves. This can trigger a "must sign now" reaction in people of a certain generation. This is an unscrupulous but common practice. Top quality companies should give you their best price in an estimate good for 30-60 days. They will also try (2022) to sign you up with their financing partner, Greensky. That company has paid millions in federal fines for deceptive and predatory lending practices in the past. Talk to your own bank or credit union first. If you qualify for a home improvement loan or home equity line of credit you may get better terms and interest rates.

Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors: what do users think?
Todd Schwarz: Maintence manger Harold is a great guy to work for! Top notch, on his game!! Safety first
Laura Samuels: I was 30 mins late he was a bit unfriendly I think cuz of the other driver was 2 to 3 hrs late but the broker told her apt 10am n it was for 7am. Yell at the brokers to get correct times don't yell at the drivers. I've had several brokers give me wrong apt times. It's aggravating cuz it messes with our clock.
David HARRINGTON: Poor place to workThey don't care about Safety
Golibjon: Very slow unloading del check in 2 hour
Ken Gibson: So far so good. Company is sending replacement felt that wasn't on a couple windows when installing we found this.
martin bourne: Makes nice interior doors, including bifolds.
Alexandre Gogiashvili: Critical:ProfessionalismDon’t be late for delivery or u ………)))))))
Jose Gutierrez: For delivery truck driver don't be late not even a min they will have you all day waiting to get you unloaded.
Farrux Haydarov: 😡😡😡💩💩💩
Erich Lenhart: Don't show up early. You will be refused.
Herman Hopson: Quick unload cool staff.
RoadRambler 1900: Place is an easy back to dock into, lots of construction getting here
Richard Handy: In and out quickly. A little tight but had no issues.
Johannie Troncoso: Our 2011 house has Jeld wen windows and within 10 yrs we started to have problems (they get foggy, so seal issue?) At this point we will have to change at least 4 panels and warranty for second owner is expired - frustrating to have to deal with in less than 15 yrs! None of my previous 2 houses had window issues - we had Andersen before…
David Bolton: Took me a full day early. Tight but manageable parking lot.
Tiara Johnson: Great company to work for!
Juan Valdez: Small parking at shipping and receiving, but was able to stay overnight for early delivery,. 3h to unload but guy unloading had a good attitude and apparently they're short hand👍
Tamara Cruz: The receptionist was very happy to help me but the gentleman I talked to sounded like I was the last person he wanted to speak to. I sent him the pictures he needed but have yet to hear back from him. I can only hope the hardware I need arrives soon.
Diane Send: We purchased a new home and moved in June 27, 2019. In Feb of 2021, a pane of glass cracked on the inside. There was nothing that hit the window at all! We were just sitting and heard a noice, and a few minutes later we noticed the glass on inside was cracked. Emailed the company and received a notice glass is only covered for 1 year. You think when you purchase a new home the glass would not crack like it did for no apparent reason. So we will need to pay out of pocket for a replacement. It will not be a Jeld wen if they do not stand behind their product
Rich Meyers: The receiving guy extremely rude and not easy to work with. No room for parking
Cedric Duclos: Not only is the product quality terrible but the customer service is an absolute disaster. I have been trying to have a defective window under warranty replaced since June ! Firs they claimed they shipped it when all I received is a handle ! UPS receipt shows the weight delivered is 0.6 lbs so not too difficult to understand it can’t be a window ! Then a new guy gets assigned to my case and ask me the same questions all over again and can’t even read the file. And since then no answer... unbelievably unprofessional

Sahr Building Supply: what do users think?
Emily Bierma: I really can’t say enough good about Matt and SAHRS. They were punctual- when he said the day we would get a quote, we did. When Matt came out to our home he quickly understood our design and hopes and had really great recommendations. The installation crew was on time, thorough, and friendly. One of the windows came in wrong... not SAHRS fault at all.. Matt came over that day to talk through options for fixing the problem. The windows are beautiful- sleek and modern. We are so thankful that SAHRS was recommended to us and plan to use them again!!
Wendy: Kirk was wonderfully helpfulà
Special K: Matt & Jason are great the only problem is they had to be contracted with ProCare. I would have rather of dealt with Matt myself & then I’d give 5 stars. Unfortunately, ProCare does nothing to help SAHR out when they blame problems on SAHR and not taking responsibility and not knowing who is doing what. Yes, I would highly recommend SAHR for installation of windows & sliders. When there’s been issues Matt came directly down from Traverse City to my home away from his Christmas to try to resolve an issue with the slider. Otherwise, communication and reliability with work ethic is 5 stars.
