Mr Gun Dealer: what do users think?
LONDON CAB: Dealer is TOP NOTCH. Smooth pleasant experience...easy peasy. Fast shipping, received safely
FiveSev Jay: Employees were racially profiling me and my family
JJ Wallace: These guys are fantastic! I spent about an hour with them yesterday and they receive high marks across the board! Very knowledgeable in this subject matter and just willing to engage in a real conversation with customers. And although I come from a different time, where this was much more commonplace, this level service is nearly impossible to find anymore. Clearly, this is what is missing in front-facing business relations today.Thank you guys; appreciate tf out of you3
Bryce: I recently had an FFL transfer from BudsGunShop sent to MrGunDealer. The turn around took less than 24 hours from when they received it until I was able to pick it up. Tony was very nice and knowledgeable. The process took about 20 minutes to fill out all necessary paperwork. FFL transfer fee was $35. Highly recommended. They also have a huge selection of new and used firearms that are reasonably priced. Will likely be doing more business with them.
Eric Deyo: Shouldn't take ten minutes to answer the phone.
Se-Ki: Racist and very rude just take your money to 616 Dunham's or Silver bullet. Even Al and bobs sport store treat you like a Paying customer with respect. Mr Gun Dealer is a joke in the corner near a toy store.
Don Angle: I purchased a Smith and Wesson handgun with a defective guide rod. When I contacted the seller they provided a curt response and refused to provide any contact information for warranty repair. I suggest shopping elsewhere.
Ak Dave: Definitely not a shop I'd spend my cash with totally unprofessional doesn't have a clue on the stuff he talks. I would recommend spending your cash with other firearms stores in the grand rapids area.
StriateZebra: Great FFL transfer fee. $35 (3% fee for credit/debit. bring cash) Everyone was polite and everything in my transaction went perfectly. No issues with anyone there. Great place to ship your online orders!Prices on ammo and accessories is right in line with the big box stores. Of course you will always get a better deal online. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Wayne Bregg: I would highly recommend going somewhere else! This store discriminates against people for the clothes you my possibly wear. After agreeing to sell my friend a firearm he was turned away for clothes he was wearing that they didn’t like. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
Arkansas Cowboy: Outstanding Customer Service!Great products at discount prices.
Jacob C: Don’t let the bad reviews fool you. These guys are more than willing to help you find what you’re looking for and are informative. I will be bringing my business to MrGunDealer from now on! Wish I could give 10 stars.
Joshua Stair: The staff is not knowledgeable whatsoever. I was even refused the ability to even speak to a manager about my concerns at a later time. Absolutely unprofessional.
D S: I placed an order with Mr. Gun Dealer, they asked for a copy of my ID, I sent it. I’ll admit that it took me a week because their request went to spam. However, my order was still processing. After they received my ID, they sent me an email saying they are canceling my order and charging me 6% for restocking, because it was being sent to my business address. I called them ten minutes after they sent the email, I understand that when you are processing a lot of orders, things happen. After speaking to their representative, and asking to simply send it to my home address if the business address is an issue, he refused. He told me to reorder the ammo. I said I wouldn’t have an issue with that, but your email said you’re going to charge me 6% restocking. He refused to budge on that charge, even after I explained how they gave me no notice and no way to rectify. Very poor business sense, for anyone dealing with customers.
Jonathon Werner: I live pretty close to Mr Gun Dealer, and have done 100% of my transfers with them. These guys are on the ball, and very fair on their pricing in-store or online. When I move out of state next, I will continue to shop here. Many veterans work here, and everyone is knowledgeable. They are a standard all gun shops everywhere should follow. The owners and employees are all professionals. If you encounter someone considering making a firearm purchase, this is the only store to refer them to.Edit. I moved back to Illinois, but I order from them. Top dealer on gun broker too. I've worked in class3 shops long ago. And transfers are just as professional.
Tyler Hector: Mike was a great help. Even after I mentioned I wasn't looking to buy a firearm just needed some suggestions for a carry piece, he took great care. Can't wait to get to Texas and try a 43X, thanks for the help man
Chip Andre: Excellent customer service. UPS lost my order, but they made it right. The item I ordered was no longer in stock, but they sent an equivalent replacement, even though it cost more.
Tony Dixon: I think they play a race game, I've been there twice, first time somebody I came ith that wasn't buying a firearm was musty and they said he smelled like weed so I couldn't purchase anything. Today I went in with a RAW hat on and he said he didn't feel comfortable selling me a firarm. I don't smoke and haven't smoked for well over 8 years now
Ed Cooley: Tried to stop in and shop today see what this place is about, doors locked and I guess the guy at the counter can't be bothered to let walk up customers in, guess I'm too used to Texas gun shopping to be a customer here
Elaine Garrett: They are racist, spend your money elsewhere!
Ben Smith: My go to place for gun transfers. Also on Gun Broker and they have a website, too

Vintage Firearms, Inc.: what do users think?
James Dye: Surprised by the good reviews, my experience was the exact opposite. The knowledge he had of my weapon was average at best. Their ability to communicate with customers is non existent. Matter of a fact his impatience and inability to answer the simple questions is why I'm here. I agree this is a dieing art. But customer service like this is what will kill it. Quoted my gun at 300 hundred. Sold it for 1100 to the other guys.
M D: Nice place
Brad Conroy: I would like to take a moment to say thank you to Jay and team at VFI for an outstanding experience recently on a purchase via online. Jay represents what I think is becoming a lost art in customer service these days. I came across his website while researching availability on a very difficult to find firearm and he had exactly what I was looking for in-stock and on sale. I placed a call not realizing it was after hours since Michigan is a couple time zones ahead. He answered my call and after talking, he offered me an even better price! The purchase was seamless and had my firearm less than a week from date of purchases. Thank you Jay!
Steve Renkema: Top notch collection and service. Knowledgeable and professional owners and service staff. 💯
slapshot: Very professional. Totally. Excellent smiths!!!
Tom Buccino: Excellent selection. Outstanding staff. Exceptional customer service. Highly recommended!
Andrew Bos: Super friendly people and customer service is fantastic. Also, the only Wilson Combat dealer in the area.
Brandon Gremban: Great selection of vintage firearms, friendly helpful staff.
Henry Higgins: Excellent Service and attention to detail. I will be purchasing more items from them in the future. Best experience yet when ordering a high specialty item. It was very refreshing to be able to specify the item verbally without having to spend hours trying to figure out the digital entry pathway that other vendors use.
Todd Engel: As good a company as you are going to find. VERY good communications. VERY particular about what they sell. They have all 5 stars for a reason - they are 10,000% committed to making sure what you get from them is at a minimum as good as you expect. In my case it was exceedingly greater. I bought an 1894 Winchester 30-30 and I could sell it today for more than I paid for it just 1 month later. They didn't "give it to me" - they are making money and have a successful business. Point is they are FAIR. The owner himself is in my I Phone contacts now. I was looking at guns on gunbroker and he took the time to explain differences and educate me. I wasn't a customer yet. He wasn't trying to sell me on his collection. He just wanted me to have the best deal I could have. Since then, he has communicated with me regarding decisions on other firearms. I feel like I have a personal gun representative now. The owner, The whole company.I cannot recommend Vintage Firearms, Inc. more highly. I am a CPA - have been for 33 years, now at age 55 - and have worked with tens of thousands of businesses. I know a high end, high quality, high character business when I see one.Again, as good as it gets here, folks.Todd A. Engel,Austin, Texas
XAVIER VILLARREAL: From my first interaction with Jay, then with Esther and Alex... there wasn’t a moment that this experience wasn’t just an absolute pleasure. Everyone was professional, courteous and without question; knowledgeable about every phase of this transaction. The quality of service and attention to my needs as a consumer were met at every turn. If you have an opportunity to business with these folks you will not be disappointed. Thanks for the help guys and keep up the great efforts. Love what I got and hope to do business again in future!!!
Damon Jackson: Very extensive selection and knowledgable and friendly staff.
Michael Jackson: Very cool store! Nice to see a place that isn't simply loaded with black rifles, though I have my fair share and love them. They were very helpful navigating the paperwork and were very responsive. Friendly and very helpful A+
Mark Roberts: Vintage Firearms of Grand Rapids is the finest small gun shop for high end firearms in this region of the country. The folks there are friendly experts and they also have outstanding gunsmith and restoration services. I will be there tomorrow to pick up a dream rifle...can't wait!
lowell mcadam: Jay was terrific at answering my questions and the description of the gun was right on. He deals in the highest quality firearms. I would check in with Vintage Firearms first every time I look for a firearm.
Ginger Finkbeiner: Very pleased with the customer service received! We went with 6 very old guns to see if we could get an idea what they were worth. Thinking we would have to leave them, we were pleasantly surprised when they reviewed right then! Exceptional knowledge and service. Thankful for their kindness, knowledge, and honesty!
mike vaden: great service and response time. item was as described, shipment and packaging superb.. am a repeat customer
Geoffery Eden: The transaction went very smooth. Payment options made paying for the shotgun smooth and secure. Communication was excellent. Shipping was priced reasonably and the item shipped to my FFL promptly. Unfortunately the item was not advertised correctly. The condition listed in the auction did not match the actual condition of the item. "Flawless" and "Like New" are descriptive words for something that is in perfect conditions with absolutely no flaws. The item I received is flawed with two blemish's on the stock and a scratch on the gold seal located on the underside of the stock. The case the item comes in is used and far from being like new. The big issue is the scratch. Its highly noticeable and completely unmistakable. This is why I give three stars. When purchasing online, the description gives the purchaser the confidence to buy. Pictures alone can not fully depict all items and many times leave out the most important details. I purchased based on the description and was unfortunately miss-lead. I most likely will not purchase from this seller again.
warren goodlett: Very thorough and professional company; someone always picks up the telephone and promptly searches out status of acquisition, concerns, work progress etc. Good experience, yes!
Gerald L. Musgrave: Call to confirm items on website are still vailable.New location--be careful NOT to drive into the car wash of no return.Professional operation and staff. Hat tip to Emily, who is friendly and eagar to help. Fun to watch the smiths at work
bhavdeep singh: A loud shout to vintage firearms specially Mr Jay and his staff .. My initial order was sort of a mess not anybody’s fault but the way they took care of that was amazingly commendable and praiseworthy .. the staff was regularly in touch with me and they went out of the way and fix it sorta a huge huge bonus for me!!!!! Very nice customer service 😊 happy camper and highly recommend themThanks

Bachelder Master Gunmaker Inc: what do users think?
Michael Megna: Parker took time with me today after stopping in to pu me on the right path with my aftermarket trigger!!There is no doubt these people know their stuff!!
Jeremy Chris (Captain): Local store that cares. I've shopped here and sent coworkers here.
Ben Raber: Had them repair a scope mount for me a few years ago. Great prices, fast service and good communication about the problem and how they would fix it.
Jonathan Larson: I would not recommend taking any gunsmithing work to them unless it's a while-you-wait easy fix. My gun was there 9 months and the owner said nothing whatever was done to it. He did apologize and state he is stepping back from large jobs, just really wish that would have been stated earlier! Friendly people, and probably a great place to buy a gun- but no longer a gunsmith
Jason Nedwick: Been a customer for 20 years.Bought my first rifle from them in 2003.Springfield M1 GARAND, $700.00 with a 1942 barrel and matching stock in 03. Good old days of cheap surplus.Great people and great service.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 😉
Kenny Ji: 👍⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
mikect500: One of the best. Bring lots of money
Daniel Davidson: I have been to Bachelder two times at this point, and both times I was treated incredibly well. The people who run this shop are honest, and are not trying to sell you services you don't need. I would recommend Bachelder to anyone who needs their firearms fixed, appraised, or otherwise looked after.
Michael Jeroue: Outstanding operation!!
Mishael Pullian: Actually caught them during their inventory, however, Matt let me in and took care of me. I left with my firearm and a smile 🤙🏾
Tinman SaltArmy: I can only leave one review so it looks like I’m going to just keep adding photos of the firearms I have the team at Bachelder assist me with.
Robert Siterlet: One of the most knowledgeable individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Parker ( 1of the owners , I believe) with regards to guns, from very old to very new. Yes here is a waiting list for repairs , however you can’t rush genius , this isn’t a part swapping until it work properly gun repair shop, which is typical of a lot of gun repair shops today. If you enjoy the historical and aesthetic beauty of firearms I highly recommend this outfit, and if by chance you are disappointed with the outcome of a repair rest assured it will be corrected to your satisfaction. When you’re born with talent perfection is something you chase your entire life. It’s what you can expect working with Bachelder.
Andrew: Can’t speak on their gunsmithing services, but I randomly walked in and ended up purchasing a used pistol from them. Great customer service; Eloquent, informed, cordial, two of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I really hope they start selling new guns in addition to their used inventory. Not a whole lot to look at, but they definitely had a few gems there. Will definitely be coming back.
Alex Obiden: Just stopped in to Bachelder today, and dealt with Parker. Literally still sitting in the parking lot as I write this. The guys here helped me quick adjust my irons. Shook those bad boys loose, whoops, doing some shooting yesterday. Good guys, they know guns, and they know how to make guns that don’t “pew” right work again. Always handy. I appreciate their services, and will be back many times I’m sure.
Jacob Lowing: Great family owned business! Top notch knowledge.
Salty_Tinman: The only place I will take my firearms for armory level service. I’ve been doing business with Bachelders for the better part of 20 years. For reliable service at affordable prices, look no further. Tinman 2022
SugaryPhoenixxx: Bachelders Master Gun Makers is a great place with a good atmosphere & friendly associates. They are very attentive at answering any questions & extremely talented gunsmiths. My grandparents have worked with them for many years & so I go there too. I would recommend this gun shop to my friends & especially people who are looking for classic guns that are not produced anymore. Very unique & interesting stock!
Jack Lindsay: Great, honest customer service from everyone there. This is my go-to place in GR. Parker and Jake are extremely helpful and the team always does an exceptional job.
Benjamin Campbell: Best in town. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Have had them do several projects for me without a hiccup ever.
Casey Wila: Outstanding customer service from their staff through the entire transfer process. Jake walked me through the paperwork and background check portions in store and helped me with some assembly items as well. Will definitely go back for future needs.
Scott VanLente: I recently worked with Parker Bachelder, he helped me to remove the trigger assembly from the but stock on an old double barrel 16 gauge Ithaca. He provided an old stock butt plate and the fee was nominal. Every time I work with Parker I learn something and am taken care of immediately. Parker is very knowledgeable and is eager to share his craft while providing A-1 service. I highly recommend Bachelder's.

Arapahoe Arms Company: what do users think?
Daniel Corder: hdggh
Jfna Armour: Apparently they are appointment only, and don’t answer the phone. Don’t waste your time or money here.
Justin: I have been doing business with Arapahoe Arms since they first started in Grand Rapids, and I have been taken care of very well. The owner has gone out of his way to get FFL transfers done quickly & efficiently during business hours and even on the weekends in some cases, and I see no point in using any other place!
Nick Kemp: Andy (the owner) is knowledgable, friendly, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you have a great experience. Arapahoe has the best prices on pistol ammo that I’ve found in the GR area. They specialize in bolt action precision rifles but have a wide base of knowledge and can help you with almost anything you need. Arapahoe is a small shop, and I definitely recommend visiting if you want to support a local business. I’ve been frequenting them for the past year, and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon
FatBoy: Never open during posted hours, doesn't answer phone.
Justin C: Friendly, professional, and great service. Thank you!

Barracks 616: what do users think?
Robert Russo: Highly reccommend this place for anyone and everyone into firearms and shooting. Extremely friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I hate to say it because I've shot and shopped there for years but this place just surpasses silver bullet on every facet of what a firearms center should be. Very well done.
Jake Walczak: Love this place. Great instruction, service and retail items. Very safe and professional.
Thomas Mohr: Best People, BEST EDUCATION, BEST KNOWLEDGE OF DEFENSIVE EQUIPMENT. BEST INDOOR RANGE,TO: JOSH & TOMTHANK YOU FOR YOUR PROFESIONALISM AND HELP.ON A FAMILY RANGE DAY LAST SATURDAY.IM GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SERVICE TONOUR COUNTRY. AND CONTINUED SUCCESS IN WHATEVER LIFE TAKES YOU,SINCERELY,THE MOHR PARTY
Mike Nichols: I finally found a business that treats customers like they would want to be treated. You wouldn't think it would be that hard. But lately, it seems to be. The place itself was large, clean and modern. Room to walk around and not bump into people. The staff was cordial, knowledgeable and courteous. This was my first errand of the day and being treated so well set me up for a very nice day. Thank you for that.
Shasta H-I: Sky and Antony were amazing! This is a great range -clean and safe with a pleasant atmosphere. They also have wonderful membership options that will save a good chunk of dollars if you’re an avid marksman.
Kelley Gray: Solid rage with a good selection of firearms to choose from. Really helpful and knowledgeable instructors both on the range and in the shop. Overall, would recommend to anyone that is well versed in firearms or is new to the hobby.
Randy Roth: Bought an FNX45 through their website. They helped me with getting it ordered. Ordered it on a Friday, was there the next Tuesday. Staff is super helpful and very kind. Also very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Barracks 616. Already thinking about buying my next gun through them. All around great experience.
ANGRY BEN: The range is good. The guy at the counter was nice and sociable. The range master was on top of things and helped out novice shooters.Based on the 4 time I have been there, I am not a fan of the guys behind the counter on the main sales floor. For some reason, it's a chore for them toDo their job.Its a customer service job. Be polite and helpful, not irritated and dismissive of someone wanting to spend money in the establishment.I would just go to silver bullet but they are worse.
Patrick Leslie: Very friendly staff, large variety in here, anything you want will be here. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for a firearm.
Austin B: Clean welcoming and friendly facility. The range safety officer while I was there, Josh was great, personable and helpful.
Deborah Crothers: About a month ago, I stopped in at 616 Barracks to shoot a gun for the first time. Today was my second time. Every person working there was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. I was very nervous and jumpy. One of the staff members took time to work with me and gave me helpful tips. After about 10 minutes working with him I was able to relax. I appreciate how patient and inviting they made me feel there, especially being a woman and new to guns. I am excited to take the courses they offer there and look forward to getting my concealed weapons permit through them! Great job 616 Barracks!
Chumba Wumba: Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have almost always been able to shoot as soon as I get there, rarely any wait.
Luke Cavanaugh: Staff was extremely helpful, polite, and knowledgeable.
Greg Waryszak: Use to be one of my favorite places. I would easily drive three hours from Detroit to come here. No longer carry STIs, no longer carry Springfield, etc, etc etc, excuses that they can't get anything in stock. Basically a bass pro shop, I hate to leave this review because it WAS an awesome shop. Hopefully you guys can turn it around
Aluckyasian: Range is amazing, 10 dollar gun rental is KING compared to other ranges that are up to (35 dollars). Also shout out to Antony(hopefully correct spelling) spent a solid 20 minutes talking to me and dropping knowledge on everything guns so I'm more informed as a customer, everyone here is the best!
Daniel ES: I was a bit nervous before I came in here the first time. I knew I'd probably be the only one wearing a mask. I didn't expect other people to be wearing one, but I was more worried I'd get funny looks or bad treatment, especially as a beginner.Pretty much everyone here has been incredibly helpful and welcoming, eager to teach me things and answer my questions. Now I try to take any excuse I have to stop by the range if I'm in the area. Looking forward to trying out some of the classes!
Kevin Snyder: Great establishment, great staff, if they don't have what you need, they'll help you find it
-: Took a class with Derek this weekend . The online sign-up was very convenient to use ( I wish it sent out a conformation email of the date and time of the class )The class itself was very well paced , I didn't feel like being powerpointed to death. The jokes and the stories of real events helped keep my attention. This class also was very neutral in its presentation which is rare to find. The range portion was more in-depthed than other classes I attended which was a welcomed surprise. This experience definitely makes me want to book more classes at Barracks616
Miia Whatley: Truthfully I couldn't have had a better experience at barracks! Very pleased with the customer service, and knowledge of these guys. I came in all alone with zero knowledge about guns, also I haven't shot a gun in almost a decade, so I was VERY rusty. I had the instructor in the shooting range help me out, (I cannot remember her name) but she walked me through literally everything I needed to know. Without her, I would've been so uncomfortable and lost. Also thank you to the sales guy last name (Bacon) for selling me my first gun.
Hampton: Messed up my documents for the sheriff's department twice in a row.
Casey Spencer: We emailed after hours to reserve a range time and there was a slight mixup on our reservation. When we arrived at the range, Antony sp didn't find our reservation but he went out of his way to find our email and made sure we got a stall on a busy night with several other bookings. He also took a quick minute to go over some tips with my wife (a first time shooter) and showed her how to hold the firearm and slide the rack, etc. We enjoyed our experience at B616. The range safety officer was awesome and patient. If you're inexperienced or need some guidance, these are the people you want to visit. We also made a firearm purchase and we're looking forward to go back for some of their classes.
