Swagaar: Don't think I could of found a great job that I'm starting a new career in with out them.
Aimee Lastfogel: Everyone is always so nice and helpful & there is always a computer to work on.
Bob Reichert: Very helpful.
Idella Williams: I want to say I do apologize for the last post or review that I did I was being very impatient but overall Michigan works on straight Street really looks for your best interest in helping you
Tim Beeler: It's helpful for others who want the help for work or ect. !
Noe Guardado: Good help
Jeff Thompson: Helpful
R. W.: Top notch staff here. They are very professional and eager to help. Highly recommend for many helpful services.
Kathleen Klusovsky: Very helpful, resourceful and kind in helping you find a good job.
Shailind: Horrible service, rude people!!! They don't even offer services to the community anymore. Even if you make an appointment
amy polaski: The staff is very helpful and they have resources to help you find employment or get educated
peanutlee 33: Completely bunk, the former Leonard NE office (which was outstanding) *relocated* across town to this place. First, I absolutely hate the West Side. Secondly, the building is considerably smaller than Leonard, and most of the old familiar staff are gone, alongside the nicer commodities. Makes no sense.Found out that Leonard got sold right under the former staff's noses; the relocation was in less 30 days. Franklin gets my business from hereon.
Yung Flamez Beats: Moved To 215 Straight St. nw....
cowboy: They relocated !! They are no longer here

West Michigan Works!: what do users think?
Tena Espey McAllister: They are amazing
Nettiegurl 16: Ridiculous onsite understaffing, and rude workers who can't or don't help you, and a janky website that wastes your time registering you for useless workshops, that fail to send a viable link to attend. Called a few days ago to see about speaking with an available career coach, or someone who could assist with the job search process. And the well meaning lady rambled on asking if and where I was registered, and how I wanted to register under my actual name blah blah, before I had to politely cut her off, and state my business.
Æ eLVe: Had these people done their job in October when I started my grant process I wouldn't have been denied funds for my career program that started in January.I highly recommend you find an office that's actually going to help you in the time frame that you need, even and especially if you start the MiWorks process months before your program starts.Y'all are disrespectful to the citizens you serve when you lack the competence to complete your job in a timely process.3½ months, 105 days. I qualify but your timing disqualified me. Shameful. Embarrassing.
Prajwal Sigdel: Friendly and helpful staffs, walked me through all steps for work regeneration
John Jackson: First and foremost everyone I encountered at the agency was polite and professional. However, I just don't see why so much tax dollars goes to these agencies who essentially do what you can already do for yourself. Why isn't more money being put in public transportation or ride share programs so people can get to and from work ? A lot of people are struggling to afford insurance or even a car for that matter. It feels as if our government wants us to fail and be dependent on social services. I'm not advocating completely defunding these agencies but I'm failing to see what they actually accomplish versus what they claim to accomplish and that goes for all the ones I've been to in this State. I was basically told come back when you have a better idea how to fix yourself. That's fine, but w.t.h. would I need help for if I didn't need help ? Super polite staff though.
Marcus Ryan: Every rep is a walking flesh bag. They do nothing to help with unemployment. They will find every way in the book to place blame on you. They arent forthcoming at all. This whole process is a scam. Doubt ill ever see a penny from the State after paying taxes to these greedy MFs for 15+ years. I wouldnt even waste your time applying for unemployment.
Robert Oliver: Things have not improved since pandemic. Still long waits. Still erroneous and random flags to claims. Still a denial of benefits for whatever frivolous reasons they can throw and try and get to stick. 3 weeks in, and I know I will never see a check. My priority is finding a job and paying my bills. I found a job on my own. So after a month without pay, on the edge of missing rent, I will hobble on, and the fake social safety nets can continue to fail and disenfranchise.
Abdul Majid Hadi: All is lie or discrimination, I found Job by myself and they never do what they say, they never buy car for me, they cancelled it my three quotations. It’s better not waste time there.
Casey Westbrook: I am so grateful for Michigan Works and the people who are there to help.
Lakenya Cummings: Pleasant and very helpful
Vern Davis: Had to file for unemployment. System was fubar. Added 2 hours to filing time.
John E Wilkins: They tried to help but wasnt able to
Renee Carmichael: Staff friendly, caring and attentivePlace was clean and quiet.
David Guild: I thought the place was going to be very busy but it wasn't! Walked in and was asked "how can l help you?" Very friendly staff. I signed in and they helped me get registered on MiTalent. Walked me through step by step. Very patient and helpful. Been their twice now and James was very friendly and helpful. Printed copies of my resume and saved it on a USB. VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. Looking forward to returning. Very professional.
Ken Jorgensen: Found a job because of a friend. Nothing to do with MiWorks. Now i think the career coach who ive never even met is trying to claim he helped me find it...or its because of MiWorks. Its not. I had a career coach leave on Jan.28. My new career coach did not contact me for over a month. Ridiculous. Felt all on my own in my job ssarch.
Doreen PRICE: Today was my first time going to Michigan Works. It was a good experience. The one on Franklin street was easy to get to. They have a large free parking lot. All the employeeswere super friendly and helpful. And the wait time wasn't bad. It was what I expected to be.
elizabeth Cartagena: I started my GED in Lansing Michigan work do they give same GED class here ?
Mandeeq Khalif: This lady so rude hang up on me for no reason when I am looking for job I will never come back this branch agian 🤦🏽‍♀️
eaglegrad 16: This Franklin office is unbelievably backward, compared to how they used to be. Time wasted making you fill out an old school ID form instead of just checking your license, update and print your resume, even if you did it that morning. When you're waiting to meet with your staff appointment. Just ridiculous.
Jacob Dake: Good service. In and out!
Beautiful Storm: Front desk can be rude at times. But other then that the staff are vary helpful
