She kept us up to date with checklists and meetings, and she was always available by phone, text, or email when I got stressed out or overwhelmed. Honestly, I never really had to -- she was two steps ahead the entire way. Another great thing about Tascha and Muse Weddings? We are a bride and bride couple and I was open with that right up front. I left messages for and talked with other wedding planners. Some never returned my call/email. Others did but said they were busy -- busy on a Thusday evening, four months ahead of time? With a staff of ten? Hmmm. Tascha not only called back promptly. She called back with enthusiasm and a plan! She is frankly amazing. Our florist had a personal emergency and she was unable to fulfill our order. Tascha found another vendor in a snap and had a proposal to me in no time at all. On our wedding day, Muse staff came to the hotel while we were getting ready to make sure we were all on time and had everything we needed. She took care of the table and venue decor and it was exactly what we envisioned. Tascha really listens. Our day was exactly how we imagined it. After our wedding, friends and family were still talking about how special the day was. Hire Tascha and Muse Weddings! You will be so glad you did!

Farah Mithani: What a cute art studio! Loved staying here so much. It got me to start painting again with the paints and canvas provided. The corner still is legit around the corner. Thirty min away from the city beach. Spacious place and snacks provided. Great hosts for sure, would recommend it and def stay here again.

Mimi Emig: Gallery 154 is one of my local go-to places for gifts. Lots of local arts, with everything from jewelry to garden ornaments to paintings and more. Although the site says "temporarily closed," they are open by appointment- call and they will open for you. I recently made an appointment and got 4 hand-made pottery mugs for my mom. So much better than shopping on-line. The owner requires masks in this time of COVID, and because it's by appointment only, there's not a risk of being exposed to others. Great store and service!

K Ronis: This is a great place to look for gifts (or for yourself!) They have a variety of specialty ornaments, hats, lots of great jewelry, and other unique gifts. That doesn't include the upstairs. Just beware that it is a small store and has breakables. I would not really call this an art gallery as much as a specialty shop. There is some artwork, but it doesn't make up much of the merchandise.

Richard Rowell: The UICA was once an awesome little indi gallery with a cool million in the bank and a great local. Then the board decided they needed a bigger building. They borrowed $17 million to build it, and went bankrupt in the process. They were bailed out by Kendall, who promptly forced all the founders out. They should rename this the Kendal Institute for Contemporary Arts.

Greg Smolka: I personally enjoyed the UICA but a few of the people I went with did not like it as much as I did. The staff were friendly and the facility was organized. The criticism from my friends could be summed up as “boring” and that the space could be used a bit more wisely. This is the only reason for my 4 stars. However, when it comes to art there are always going to be opposing opinions. I would recommend the UICA to those who enjoy interesting art pieces.

Michael Dick: UICA is a great place to go to whenever. There is a movie theater inside that shows all sorts of indie movies and have snack and drinks right outside of it. I went here for a skateboarding video years ago and it was amazing! Also the art displayed here is just great.The only thing I have against a 5 star is that their is always confusion of where to enter the building at.

Adriane Devries: This thriving art hub, which hosts curated shows, events and films, is a wonderful getaway in the midst of the bustling city. Only $5 to enter, you are then free to roam (usually, depending on what's showing) the five floors of thought-provoking and spirit-expanding exhibits. The space itself is a work of art, and especially intriguing to me is the rooftop garden/courtyard where many folks gather for business meetings, corporate events or just a snack with a friend, with fantastic views of the city. UICA is open noon to nine daily except only until six on Sunday, and closed on Monday. Enjoy your escape!
