Little Bird: what do users think?
Dan Holmes: If I could ever eat their food, I could tell you if it's any good. Three times I've went, and three times they said they were closing to clean up and would open later for dinner. All three times I came back and they still weren't open.

Ryan: A Memorable Evening at The Little Bird!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at The Little Bird, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and impeccable service, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere at The Little Bird is a perfect blend of intimate and inviting, with tasteful décor and soft lighting that create a cozy dining experience. I appreciated the carefully curated artwork on the walls and the delicate bird-themed touches that brought the restaurant's concept to life. The menu offered a wide range of delectable dishes, each crafted with an artful blend of flavors and textures that cater to a variety of tastes. I was delighted to find a selection of appetizers, mains, and desserts that showcased the creativity and skill of the chef. One of the highlights of the evening was trying their signature cocktail, the "Feathered Fizz." This refreshing blend of gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and sparkling wine was a true delight. The presentation was stunning, with a delicate feather garnish that truly embodied the essence of The Little Bird. The service throughout the night was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions I had. They made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.Overall, The Little Bird offers a unique and memorable dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out. The combination of excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and a diverse menu made my visit truly unforgettable. I can't wait to return and try more of their exquisite offerings!

Rose Hetrick: Wonderful lil restaurant with a bar. A gem to the city I'm sure. My husband had the Smash Burger and loved it!! Also, a champagne velvet beer, very good. The fries, don't get me started lol Best we've ever had (I stole a few😉). I had the Raddichio (spelling?) salad with honeydew, blue cheese, cashews, and forget what a couple ingredients were, topped with an in house cantaloupe vinaigrette dressing. Very very good👍🏼 The man that seated us was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable as was the wait staff. Cozy quaint place. Would definitely visit again. I'd give 100 stars if I could ✨⭐✨⭐✨..
Antwayn Spencer: Great, great, great, service!

Lisa Mueller: Brunch. Cozy and clean restaurant. Glad we got here at a time that wasn't too busy because there is limited seating. I got the overnight oats which I loved with a perfect consistency and perfectly balanced flavor. Husband got the eggs, potatoes and toast. The potatoes were so soft inside and crispy out, with wonderful seasoning. Staff was great, and the food was prepared quickly. I certainly will be back!!! Can't wait to try dinner as well.

Lilly: I have brunched here a few times over the last few years. Every visit has been on a busy weekend and despite the limited seating in this cozy establishment, my group and I have always been sat in a reasonable time—Usually less than a 30 minute wait.Table service is always quick and pleasant.Food is consistently fabulous, both classic dishes and unique menu items. We always get an order of the seasonal French toast for the table to start. It seems like every flavor is better than the last. For savory items we have ordered the brunch burger and steak & egg’s multiple times—SO GOOD. And this last visit we also had their French omelette and it was amazing.Keep it up Little Bird !

Rockwell Republic: what do users think?
T JB: Good food, good sushi!
Mike Flintoff: Vee slooow service, small portions, terrible mixed drink, way over priced. The bus person was cleaning out dirty bus bins, and then he brought our food to us . Gross
Daniel Jung: Ordered the steak and frites with the sauce on the side but was given a well done steak with sauce on the fries. I wasn't asked if I wanted the steak cooked in a certain way and my waiter never came in time for me to tell her that the food was not prepared right. I was confused because usually when an entrée is $45, they would ask you all the necessary questions to make things right. Usually never upload reviews but this really was an interesting experience.
Michael Belligan: Nice vibe inside with the dark wood interior and big front windows for lots of daylight. Just popped in for burgers and a few beers so nothing fancy but it all came out great and our server Mike did a great job.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nathan Allen: Fries Rice was decent. The pork belly with it was super tasty, though. The staff and restaurant itself were top-notch and deserved kudos. The cocktails were also great.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jack Flinsky: Great Sunday brunch spot!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Johnie Z: Great place and great drinksFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Daniel Crawford: Great food! We were a little confused though why they the red peppers in the queso were big slices instead of diced.
Tony Flowers: The place isn't being maintained very well. Our table was broken, one of the chairs was broken, and the vents need to be cleaned. Some paint wouldn't hurt either.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Abigail Sissing: My husband and I have been going to Rockwell’s for over 7 years. Our favorite thing to order is Sticky Chicken. Since Covid, our order of this has been very inconsistent. For example we have gotten great portions of chicken/rice, sometimes not enough sauce on the chicken, dry chicken, to most recently yesterday, receiving about 5 small pieces of chicken and really dry white sticky rice, leaving us both still hungry. The bill rung up to be more than $40 just for two orders of Sticky Chicken. We don’t mind paying this but the lack of food and inconsistencies with cookery may have us not coming back as this has happened to us too many times.
Andrew Thompson: This used to be a staple spot to bring friends visiting town, or for date nights. Recent menu changes including a raised set of prices, and removal of all but about a handful of options was disappointing to say the least. Likely won’t be back again unless changes are reverted and more variety is brought back into the menu. Would be an okay experience if you’re just looking for a cocktail or two.
Alex Brenner: In years past I always enjoyed going here for drinks and always had to remind myself how good their food was; however on my recent visit things were different. I noticed they changed their menu which once included one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city and now doesn't. Now I haven't tried all their new items, but my fiance's cheeseburger was just average for a bar burger and my spicy salmon roll was quite small with little filling when normally their rolls are better prepared. Our cocktails were great per usual and our group's tacos and other specialty sushi roll seemed good, but I also noticed the prices were quite steep for the quality and quantity of food. When our bill arrived they mixed up the food items. During early dinner hour at 7pm they played country music which felt odd for the atmosphere and around 9:30pm they switched to Living Colour's cult of personality and were blaring it so loud you could hardly hear anyone speak at a normal speaking volume. I'd still come here for drinks, but after seeing the food menu changes and prices I don't think I'd come back for dinner like I have in the past. I hope they revert back to their older menu. I still think about that fried chicken sandwich.
Kendra Jewell: Rockwell Republic used to seem like a gem in Grand Rapids and has always been one of my favorites. The last few times I have been in - i’ve either had a sticky menu, sticky table or sticky drink glass & the service has been poor or slow. It feels dirty in there, the sushi is overpriced for the quality & not to mention the parking is a nightmare with the new added meter. They will charge you for .50 cents for a side sauce with a $30 meal. The vibe is starting to feel tacky & overpriced instead of a class act.
