Firestone Complete Auto Care: what do users think?
Jason Ellis: First of all, got a good deal on tires here over a year ago, no complaints there. However, they are next to impossible to deal with. Had an issue with my AC, called them to set an appointment, ok for Friday morning, fine. Next day a woman calls back who identified herself as local manager, said that they couldn't meet that "online appointment", I explained I didn't book online, but over the phone she then said that the call went to a call center which they consider "online". Whatever. She then said she could book the afternoon, I offered it didn't matter since I'd be dropping my car off before work, she then said "I can't have people coming in here and just dropping things off in the morning because my staff will get too overwhelmed". In my 40+ years, I've never heard that at any auto shop. Apparently this local franchise is only interested in working with retirees or something. Insane.
Ken Strickland: Great service 👏 pleasant staff.
Trevor Gibbs: Have had several tires and alignments done here. Kevin is the manager and has always taken very good care of us, as have the rest of the team. Will continue to do business at this location because of it.
Jay Peterson: Very good service. Helpful and found some discounts! See Glo and Gary! Brand new tires today. Will update if anything changes!
MishaJa: BEWARE of this business!! I made an appt to get an ac check with their coupon for $19.99. I was told if I needed refrigerant the cost would be $119 so I proceeded. Glo offered me a ride home then lied and said she didn’t and they don’t do that so that was my first indication that there would be problems. She then called and told me that there was another issue with the car and in order to fully diagnose it I would have to pay $274. I declined and told her I would be picking the car up. She then called back and said she was given the wrong info and I could pay $120 for them to do more testing to determine what the issue was. I thought the testing was included with the ac check coupon and since I had been told several lies, I decided not to move forward. It’s hard enough dealing with car issues and it’s even worse when you have people who are not honest and are willing to scam to get money out of you. So I basically paid them to confirm that my car would continue to blow warm air and the money I spent on the coupon and the Uber there and back is money down the drain. Never again will I step foot in this establishment and I would advise others to do the same.Service:Air conditioning
SOPHISTICATED LADIES: They try really hard to gip you out your money
Kirk Knobel: Had a fantastic experience with these folks today. Randy is super helpful and does an awesome jon. They squeezed me in this morning and fixed my tire situation! Highly recommend
Hudson McGhee: Quick and friendly
Preston Donakowski: My online appointment didn’t go through, but they still took the time to do a quick inspection of my tire and helped me out!
Marcus Brown: I've been going there for over 10 yrs.. Randy&Korky are great guys. Provide great customer service
Kelsey Cook: Open on a Saturday is already super great, made my appointment at 2 and they had my car fixed and done by 3-4! They are awesome. Kevin was on top of everything and very respectful. Car runs smooth now. Thank you I will be returning for any services in the future!
Sean Williams: They service was decent at best..
Sabrina Olson: Right off the bat, Glo was very off-putting to me as a first time customer. I had made a note in my appointment booking about the magnet for the drain plug needing to be replaced- that was important for me to pass on from my dad. Glo said she didn't know what that meant and then made me feel like I was dumb for noting it. After this, she asked the type of oil I normally run in my car, but I didn't know and offered to call my dad. She then just said "give me the keys. we'll let you know when it's done." She didn't tell me an estimate, didn't ask any other questions, or even any updates. My appointment started at 4pm and my car didn't even begin getting serviced until 4:35pm. They did not provide a single update to me at all during the process. While I was waiting, an older woman was also waiting and noted that she had an appointment at 5pm and asked about her car progress as she had been there over an hour (it was 4:40pm). Glo snapped that they were still working on her car. Then Kevin, put his hand up in the stop sign way saying "you have to wait I'm in the middle of something." The woman asked how much longer and Glo was quite rude and said "we're really short staffed, the shortest staff I've ever seen." Which I can understand, but that needs to be presented prior and needs to be presented kinder. Shortly after, Glo came out to give me an update about my brakes from the courtesy check. she said "Make sure you tell your dad that your breaks are at a 1, and will need to be replaced." Her tone and presentation was so patronizing, and she was talking down to me. That's unacceptable as I was the one there, not my dad. The oil change was $70, took an hour and 15 minutes, I experienced staff being rude to multiple customers, showing zero compassion for the length of their services, and just being patronizing. I will NEVER return here or recommend this Firestone location to anyone. It was a terrible experience for me and honestly, the company should be embarrassed about their employees.Service:Oil change
Maravilla carol: Great service!
Jazmyne Fuentes: Super reasonable. They'll do a $45 repair if that's all you need, without trying to add on 3 other items.
Chris: didn't align my truck correctly. still pulls to the right
Rebecca Dutcher: We've been bringing our vehicles here for years. And the staff and the team here are always super helpful, very fair, and very easy to do business with. From tires and brakes to spark plugs and struts we've been trusted the team at this Firestone and can't say enough good things.Just picked up my son's car after two new tires and spark plugs. Knowing his car has been maintained well That's very important to this Mom!
Sherri R: I had recently bought tires from the shop so when my tire pressure seem to be low I stopped in to see if they could check it for me. They said there is a self-serve air pump outside, which is fine… But every time I go in there nobody’s happy, nobody’s friendly and they just sit at their stations by the door. I don’t feel like a valued customer and I probably won’t go back
devon cooper: Glo is the best! Always can trust that she will get the job done right and in a timely manner. She's the reason why I'm a returning customer!Services:Tires,Oil change,Air cabin filter replacement,Auto engine diagnostic,Brakes,Brake service repair,Steering suspension repair,Battery
frances hammer: Terrible. Appointments for everything and long waits about 4 hours just to get a oil change.
John Mallette: Pulled in at 5:30 pm they close at 6;00pm. I had a tire with a screw that was losing air fast. They would not help. Wouldn't even air the tire up for me so i could make it home. Lazy, lazy, lazy. Also there was noone in the shop, not like they were busy. Ill never go here for anything!!!

Firestone Complete Auto Care: what do users think?
Ron Petersen: Wonderful experience. I will be coming back. Thank you Ernesto
Todd Sander: Brought my car in to get a tire fixed that needed a quick repair. It’s two hours before closing. Too lazy to even take a look. I won’t be back.
Ted Kabot: Very friendly got things done quickly. They broke a part but replaced it at not cost.
Food and Travel Reviews: They accept recycled oil free of charge
Angelo Flynn: I was very happy with the speed and efficiency of the shop. I am pleased with Josh the mechanics repairs and diagnoses. A quality repair at a reasonable price.
jacob rogers: Amazing service. This morning I woke up to a flat tire when I was already planning on going to get my oil changed. I recently moved in, so I do not have access to tools to put my spare on. Fire stone was the only place open in the area and without appointment, took in my vehicle and promised to get me back on the road the same day. they very graciously called before they started any service to make sure I was OK with it. Unfortunately I couldn’t afford the only tires they had in stock, so free of charge they put my spare on for me and put it right back out in the parking lot for me to come pick up. I will be back for those tires!
Conner Taylor: Firestone swapped my tires, and when I picked it up the tailgate was heavily scratched (I know it was not like that when I dropped it off). They denied the claim, suggesting I should have thoroughly examined the vehicle before leaving the parking lot.Service:Tires
Jeremy Atkinson: My car was broke and they fixed it. 10/10 would break car again.
Tim Fennema: Great guys. Did a great job.
Mike VanDorp: Firestone does a good job. Can't say I have ever been disappointed. Biggest thing, I think, is honest and trustworthy. Always feel like they have my best interest in their mind. That's a big deal and not always easy to find when searching for automotive service.
Zon'ta Wedge: had my car towed by the worst towing company in the city after i had talked to them earlier in the month hate you guys you are slime. said towing company having the vehicle over the weekend want to charge 715 dollars for my car back.
Tyler Seibold: I brought my 2021 highlander I. On the 20th for a alignment they went out and got the wrong car I thought OK common mistake as it was the same just a different color. So the next day I decided to give them another shot and get an oil change on my other car I went online sat morn to schedule an apot after I did so I got a call from the business that my appt would not work as they were too busy...is that not the point of an appt?Guy on phone said I could drop it off and they would get the oil change done if I could leave it til Sunday at close so I did just called to verify it's done its not. Very Disorganized place of business I will take my business elsewhere next time. Thought this place would be a gem with good hours and open 7 days a week obviously not business biting off more then they can chew.Services:Oil change,Wheel alignment
r b: Dropped off my car in the morning to get 4 tires put on. When I arrived later to pick up my car the price magically changed $85 more. I told the gal working the counter the price we agreed, she then got a huge attitude with me, “well who did you talk to?” “I wasn’t here when you dropped it off” Then another gentleman buts in telling me “sometimes things happen” I was firm, held my ground they both got a manager on the phone trying to get me to talk to him so he can talk me off a ledge and give in. I believe in principle and said I didn’t want to talk to anyone its not my problem. Long story short after a lot of awkward silence and me being firm telling them to honor the contract they finally let me go for the price I was told. I really felt disrespected by these two employees that made me feel like a liar. They didn’t care about me. I would recommend you get a quote IN WRITING before you let this place do any work. The best part of it knowing I was right and she was wrong you could tell she didn’t like being wrong. Will never go back getting them to fix their mistake was like pulling teeth.Service:Tires
Rachael Sutton: I had a shop quote me for some work that would have cost ~$2k. I went to Firestone for a second opinion and I didn't actually need all that work done, I needed a smaller (cheaper!) fix. I used to use Firestone only for the lifetime alignment, sometimes an oil change, but I'll continue to use them for maintenance now. Thank you for the honest service!
Baron Grutter: All the folks I spoke with were very nice and helpful. They were looking out for me and my wheels and tires with their suggestions. However, I can't in good conscious give a high rating when they can't mount a basic truck tire on a wheel because they can't flex the sidewall and bead. Not a gigantic, stiff tractor tire or off-roading tire. A 31" E-rate All-Terrain tire (245/75/16 Toyo Open Country). Really frustrating to order the tires from tire rack and use their portal to schedule the installation appointment at this location only to waste two trips.Like I said, they were certainly nice. Just need to have better resources in their shop or advise people that they're unable to mount anything stiffer than a minivan tire.
Project Fresh: I scheduled an appointment and had my car aligned there about 4 days ago. I replaced pretty much my whole front end before (the reason for my alignment) and after my alignment was done and i paid them they told me that my driver knuckle was bent and so they couldn’t fully align it. I said its fine and that i would just get it replaced and bring it back since all their standard alignments come with a year warranty. They then told me that it would void the warranty if i replaced the part. I finally got that all figured Out that they would still adjust it afterwords under warranty. But i took my car to a different (actual) shop to replace the knuckle, they called me about a day later and told me the knuckle was completely fine and they had no problem adjusting it at all… they charged me $45 to adjust it/diagnose. Hopefully firestone will refund me for this scam of a “job” they did on my car.Service:Wheel alignment
Laterell Roach: The most high professional people for tires And other services I will recommend anybody to go to nowService:Tires
GOM4NGO: 6.5 hrs and could not get a simple flat repair done.Service:Tires
NORTH STAR: I scheduled an oil change on line...got a call later that night that it was cancelled. I called a different store and was told the appointment was cancelled because I couldn't wait in the store and it'll be a week for the oil change. Must be very busy 🙂
Rory Rowan: I brought my 2008 Nissan Maxima to the Plainfield location. For a power steering fluid leak. They told me all the hoses were leaking, the pump was bad,the rack in pinion was shot, and to do the rack and pinion,it needed a alignment, but the ball joints were loose, and needed to be replaced.Grand total of $4100.00. I did not have the work done. I took it home had a buddy help me get it on stands to look,The ball joints were fine, and the only thing leaking was the pressure hose. I took it to a different shop, and they verified my view. The only thing wrong was the hose i viewed,Two hours labor. What is wrong with Firestone. That was a blatant attempt at theft.I will discourage everyone i know from going to them.
April Johnson: Nice people and explained about the new battery

Alpine Tire & Alignment: what do users think?
Ethan James Van Doorne: Disorganized, dishonest, incapableI came here for a few years after hearing good things from fellow Westsiders, and for what I relied on them for, the most basic of wheel-related tasks (bolting on summer/winter wheels 2x/yr) it went mostly fine at first. This year I took my summer set in along with the lugs from last season that were placed in a sealed bag (by Alpine Tire) and immediately taped to the interior of the wheel (by me) and stored. To my surprise, they claimed that when I returned the same set for reinstallation, I was missing two lugs. Instead of helping to rectify the situation, they just bolted on the wheels and sent me on my way two lugs short. It didn't seem right at the time, but I went and bought some new lugs and didn't think much of it, until I got on the highway. The wheels felt like they were going to fall off, and the rear of my van was bucking everywhere. These are summer wear with light wear, for the record (20k miles).I figured I'd loosen and re-tighten the wheels, thinking that possibly not tightening them down in the traditional star pattern could have affected the alignment - the problem is that I encountered more than one lug that was wrenched on crooked, rendering it impossible for me to break loose.Frustrated, I brought it back in. Keep in mind that my initial visit ($25) was intended to save me the ~40 mins it would have taken me to do the job correctly. I sat there for two additional hours. This time, they found that no less than 6 of the lugs were wrenched on in a manner than rendered them unusable. After all of this, they charged me an additional $90 and sent me on my way. My vehicle (10 years old) is still vibrating badly at highway speeds, which has never happened before.Unfortunately, the story doesn't end here. In my haste, I left behind an expensive personal item. I called and let them know immediately, and they said that they had it. When I returned, however, it was nowhere to be found. "It was right in here," he said, gesturing towards the waiting room. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to place it behind the desk.Do yourself a favor and pass on Alpine Tire if you value your time, your money, or your safety. I'm cutting my losses.
George Burnham: No very Honest company to deal with
NORTH STAR: I called ahead and was able to get right in for tire repair.
Karen: I had a flat and they fixed it quickly and got me back on the road!
Nathan Klok: First experience with them was great. Very professional, very quick and very courteous and the price was right. I had to go back thinking it was an issue with the tire they put on, but it was an issue with the old tire. I still had on.Offered me a good deal on the next tire and aligned it for me.I would highly recommend coming here.
Connor Peña: Went in two weeks ago for an alignment, dropped my car off an hour before my appointment waited 2 and a half hours before finally asking what the time frame was for my car and it hadn’t even been started yet. Best part is, my car is not even aligned. Avoid avoid avoid!
Jason Clark: Great work and excellent customer service.
zach lubbers: I came here to have some new wheels installed, the staff was nice and courteous. However, one of the new wheels I had installed was obviously scratched pretty badly by an impact gun. I am not too mad about this as I can probably touch it up. You would think they would be extra careful with wheels that cost $700 each…That said, the old wheels were mangled by whatever piece of equipment they used to remove the tires, so now I am looking at getting them refinished at $200 a wheel, because the damage is too deep to touch up. If you have a premium car with diamond cut wheels, just take it to the dealer. This place is incompetent and did nothing to resolve the issue I experienced.
Mark Addison: Came in for a 4 wheel alignment on my Oldsmobile 88. Not only was it reasonably priced, I even received a print out on where my wheels needed the adjustment! Now that's attention to detail and I like that. Will come back and thanks for aligning my car right 👍
old man tron: Great service, they do great work. Highly recommend
B F: Alpine Tire. READ BEFORE DELETED!!!READ OVER 5,037 TIMES!These guys are completely incompetent mechanics and even incompetent to perform a simple tire change. Paul & Will can’t be trusted period.First trip got in my car to leave and the entire front mat was completely covered in black oil and grease. Not just a shoe print but the entire mat.Thought ok, mistake noted, give them another chance. This is a TIRE STORE, If you have have factory chrome lug nuts (hum, most everyone) you’ll see Will taking them off using a SLUDGE HAMMER to bang the English sockets onto the Metric lug nuts.So beware of them destroying all of your chrome lug nuts because as Paul stated and I quote that “ALL THEM OEM LUG NUTS SWELL UP!” Well, that’s very true, but only when you’re taking a sludge hammer to them! Them OEM dealers don’t use sludge hammers. All my lugs were destroyed but just put back on. Great for changing a tire on the side of the road as others have mentioned!Main reason for visit was to install a simple $35 wheel bearing at a cost of $300. Instead of correctly installing the wire harness properly on the factory mounting points they zip-tied it down all over the place causing it to pull out a day laterThey used a non water-proof spin cap to connect 1/32” length of exposed wires together. When it failed next day they claimed it must need a new wire harness vs. admitting their mistakes. Unfortunately they just retied the original wire harness down again the same exact way.Next failure 1 day later. So my wife is driving a car in winter weather w/o ABS brakes or Traction Control. Wondering if their wives and kids are?Third trip in still trying to resolve a simple issue. So they redid the old wire needed replacement, claimed they did it. Fell apart again, same oxidized black copper wire still on car, lied about replacing it and that being the problem.I tried working with them to fix the situation.Took FIVE repeated trips, (one to a dealer to verify their screw ups) minimal 3-4+ hours each time for a 1 hour job in any shop or in my own garage. Dealer explained they DID NOT REPLACE the wheel dust cover because it took less time to throw it the trash! He also decided to toss the rubber seals for brake guide pins in trash at the time. Had to explain to them how to order a new one the following week. They put it on, only to discover it’s the wrong part with no bracket for the ABS wire to clip onto.5th. Time in that resulted in another disconnected wire a couple days later again! I gave up these guys and doubt anyone there has a valid mechanic’s license that’s actually working on cars, not Will for sure.Lied about verifying wheel bearing was bad and I again quote Paul that “they knew it was bad because they tore it apart to verify it was bad,” right! Nobody tears a bearing apart to verify it’s bad, another flat out lie period. My wife is driving a car with no traction control or ABS.MVSRA authorities will gbe paying their shops a visit. This time with cameras in place!kSave yourself the hassle! Thanks!
Tyson Deemter: This place is amazing! Fast and friendly! Helped me out in a pinch yesterday with some great used tires. I will definitely be back!
bob stone: Good work less than 1hr take off old tires install 4 new tires, only problem I told them I wanted old tires but they kept them
Jelisa: Honest people, phenomenal work and resonable prices. couldn't ask for better!
Beth Bragagnini: I wish I could rate them 10 stars! After a very upsetting encounter at the Clyde Park Belle Tire I was able to make it here just before they closed. They welcomed me in, were able to repair my tire for literally fractions of the price!! The were so welcoming and accommodating even though it was close to the end of their day.I came in with the worst tension headache after watching the sales person at Belle try to take advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge. He had her believing the only option was a very expensive one, most likely for the commission and because she trusted that he "knew best" and he attempted to exploit that.My experience here was night and day different. I am giving them a 5 star rating not because they were able to save me money and repair my tire but because of how they treated me. Paul (one of the owners) was working the desk. I always love it when managers and owners of small businesses work along side the people they employ. His ethics and integrity were apparent and I will be a returning customer (and encouraging everyone else I know) for as long as they are in business.
Scott Califf: Great service, great prices a great place to get tire's or have tire's serviced.
James Fausak: Good tires and excellent service at a great price. All staff are friendly and helpful. Got both my vehicles done in 2 days. Highly recommend!
Kenzie H: I explained to multiple people ONE tire was flat and it needed to be fixed. It was flat all season something is wrong with it. They put air in the tire and put it on my truck. Didn’t fix it told me they didn’t fix it, didn’t look for a leak. Nothing. but the tires are on come pick it up. I asked them to fix it again, talked to the owner, The owner said he went out and fixed it in 15 minutes, but oddly enough I have a flat tire right now. So they “fixed” the wrong one (only one was flat it’s not that hard) or didn’t bother trying. Either way I got taken advantage of. I have spent a lot of money over the years here, now I’m wondering if in the past my breaks were even changed or they just charged me for it to sit in the parking lot for a day. either way I still have to go get my tire fixed, which was the point of bringing it here
Aaron Rodenburg: Staff were all friendly, and welcoming, for it being so busy! Will be using yalls in the future.
Jason Young: Honest, reliable and punctuation! This is a great tire and service location. The business is clean with knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend coming here for tires, brakes and alignments.
Casey Ruiz: Great guys, able to get me in last minute, very personal experience took time with every customer to make sure all their needs were addressed. Highly recommend

Belle Tire: what do users think?
Jamie Valentine: The entire staff was helpful, and I got everything I needed. The staff was very honest.
shelli lipfert: They originally weren't going to be able to get the tires we needed until early afternoon. When Don found out we still had a 6 hour drive to make, he made arrangements to get the tires by 10am. Awesome customer service! Will definitely recommend!
Ian Richards: extremely unprofessional. had an interview scheduled for 10am this morning, showed up at 9:40 and their manager never showed up even 45 minutes after my scheduled interview time. won’t be bringing my vehicles back to them.
Sadie Zylstra: Recently had my back left tire and rim fly off of my car while driving! Jesse went above and beyond to find me a rim that perfectly matched my other set since they were discontinued! It was all done so much faster than I thought and was very affordable. SO grateful to Belle Tire for this experience!
Jay Peterson: Chose not to buy from them. Don't feel like a valued customer.
Vicki Mitchell: Can someone tell me do it really cost 4thosand dollars to fix ball joints
Darrell Johnson: I've always had great service at the 28th St./Eastbrook location. Brought in a flat tire to patch. Even though I didn't buy the tires from them, they patched it for free. Much appreciated.
James Van Drie: Awesome better prices than most shops
Chantice LaGrone: This review is looong overdue. Came here to fix my broken window (it was shattered and the regulator broke) and get all new tires at the same time back in 2019/2020. They did not fix the regulator. It broke the next couple days. We brought it back and they said something new was broken and were really rude to me and my companion about it. The lack of professionalism was ridiculous. Do not go to a tire place for window work. Learned my lesson. Stopped going to them completely after that.
Yalc Kcin: 3.5/5 StarsOverall was a good experience. When I called originally he told me it would be about a 8 days before they could get me in. Then I said I would like to call other belle tires and see if someone could get me in sooner then all of a sudden they could get me in same day. I did appreciate that. But the reason it's 3 star is they called me and said they did an alignment check on the car and it was out of alignment and would I like them to allign it and I said yes. Little did I know that would cost me another 100$ on the final bill. I was never told that was going to cost more. I thought it came with purchasing new tires..... I felt scammed for another 100$ on that. Very disappointing in that. But other then that they did a great job.
John Oliver: Went for the alignment that is first come, first serve. Waited for four and a half hours for it to be done and had no communication. I can't say I would recommend them for anything if they communicate like that.
Mayda&ChipSki: So grateful for this wonderful location of Belle Tire! Our daughter is in college here but we are out of state & too far to be any help with a flat tire later at night. She was able to make an appointment quickly & the service at this location was OUTSTANDING! DON was really kind & respectful to our daughter, not making her feel “less than” in any way. This was a stressful experience getting her first flat tire & Don was so helpful that she wanted me to post this 5⭐️ review! Thank you Belle Tire on 28th St Grand Rapids!
NW Inc Professional Services: Don was very Unprofessional !
Nate Crane-Bauer: Very poor Customer service. We have corporate accounts with Belle Tire and when trying to get service Don was very rude and unprofessional. We will definitely be taking our Commercial Business somewhere else!
Kyle Paalman: Consistent great experience at the 28th St location! Thank you!
anna powell: Helpful and professional team ! Loved working with Don
Collin: Rusty took excellent care of me when I took my F150 in for an alignment and oil change. They found some issues on my front end that needed repair in order to do an alignment, and they went above and beyond to complete the job. Thank you!!
Liz A: The crew here was super helpful and friendly. Lives up to all my other Belle Tire experiences. Drove in one morning with a nail in my tire, the guy was honest, and said he was too busy at that moment, but try again later in that afternoon. Came back later that afternoon, they remembered me and took care of my tire right away. Patched my tire within 30 minutes!
Roosevelt Jiménez: I had a great experience at this shop , not only did they have what I needed but he also educated about both my tires and car I highly recommend Jesse he’s extremely professional and definitely knows his stuff !!!!
Jon P (Jp): Guys up front just need to ask more questions, miscommunications led to a 2nd unwanted visit which resulted in a free tire. They remedied a mistake that got worse as the day progressed. Listening and more notes down would have resulted a higher rating.
Dahir Dahir: Do not recommend at all seriously hate this place waited 5 hours for an alignment 2 days in a row.
