David Pomper: The kind of service you rarely see these days. I bought a 2014 vehicle a few months ago with a JVC unit in it that was giving me problems powering off and losing sound randomly. I made an appointment here at this Mickey Shorr and bought a new Kenwood unit. They told me the issues could be from either the unit or the amp. I told them to install the unit plus the amp just in case it was either of them causing the issues. I dropped my car off for the installation and they called me within 30 minutes and said my current JVC needed an update that should fix the issues I was having. They easily could have taken the $$ and run, after all I'd paid for it already. But they said the JVC was a pretty good unit and to try the update. So far the unit is working fine and they saved me over $600. Hats off to Harris, Jerry and the guys at Mickey Shorr on Plainfield.

Justin Sandoval: Well I took my jeep to get a remote star installed and they did it good timing well a couple weeks later I couldn't start my jeep with the key so I took it back they said it was the break switch ok so it was fine for about 2 weeks then it happened again so back I go they ended up taking the old one out and putting a new one in and it's been fine no charge cause lifetime warranty so a year later I decide to get one put on my car again worked great for a few weeks now I'm having the same problem they are going to replace it again I'm hot happy with them but they do stand by their warranty so as long as they stick to that wich I have never had a problem with warrantys there . Elliot Silvernail: They installed the stereo system into my car even though they were about to close. It only took about half an hour. Additionally, when there were problems with the microphone for phone calls I came back and they swiftly fixed it for me free of charge.

The Big House: It took 7 plus hours when it was to have taken 4 to 5 hours tops. I was told parts where ordered when they never where. They don't want to take ownership for what they do. They will blame or deflect that ones equipment is inferior (to old) so that's why something they installed doesn't work. In addition to that I left my vehicle, the hood latch worked perfectly fine. I pick up my vehicle the hood latch is broken and it's my fault. Amazing how that works!

Chris Jones: Not in any way good. I had an appointment for an install of a head unit and backup camera. I get there only to be told that they can't install it. Okay, I ask what options do you have in-store? They show me a Boss unit for 300, I ask about a Jensen unit on the counter and am told it's 80 dollars difference,I'm now up to 400+ for the install. Then he tells me that it's another 200 dollars to install the backup camera, now I'm over 600 bucks I'm told with a smile. That was it. Never again, there's market prices, and then there's gouging. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the money pit it is. Now if you happen to have 'disposable cash' you don't need, stop on by; they'll gladly relieve you of a healthy chunk of it.

Lucas Wurm: I’ve had service here previously with no issues. Today was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered. Had my windshield tinted and during the process they removed my radar detector that mounted to the rear view mirror. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed that my radar detector wasn’t hooked back up. Once I got home I hooked it back up and there was no power to it. (It was tapped into the rear view mirror for power) I looked it over and couldn’t tell what they did. Gave them a call and they said to bring it back so they could “fix” it. After 10 min it was fixed and I was going to leave. Then I noticed their “fix” meant my radar detector would turn off whenever I would shift into reverse. So after 45 min of them messing around again nothing was fixed and I was told to F off after seeing how they were planning on fixing their mistake. I told them I didn’t want anything to change from my previous setup. They did not know how to fix it unless they could completely modify how it was powered. I told them no. The representative pulled my vehicle out of the shop, tossed me the key and said leave. Very unprofessional. I do have to say the tint did turn out good. If you value customer service and professional staff I would look elsewhere for service. I’ve also included a picture of their fix for wiring power to my detector.

Late last year i asked if they would install a cd player in my 2018 Jeep Cherokee. The guy said he wouldn't sell me anything but if I got my own equipment he would put it in for me. Not sure what that was all about. Still. Had some good dealings in the past to make me wanting to keep coming back.

Roger Knash: I bought a radio from this store last April 3 weeks after I had it installed the radio started to disconnect and then not reconnect to my devices I called them they said bring the truck in so we can look at it. My transmission van broke. I called them and let them know. They said don’t worry about it just bring the paperwork with you when you get the truck fixed to show it was broke and getting fixed, I finally got the truck fixed I went in and the guy told me I was up a creek with no paddle and then to boot. I finally found out that they taped my microphone wire together 4 inches from the end of the microphone to make their installation easier my microphone wire was taped. I brought my paperwork from my transmission shop and everything and they did not stay true to their word. I will be posting this all over social media’s and I will see them in court.

When it came time to run the project, we were provided a dedicated project manager who saw the process through from start to finish. The engineers that came onsite, were professional and knowledgeable and answered all questions. The ongoing support team is also great and quick to respond to support requests.
