Dan Holmes: Solid, but unspectacular. This is a nice neighborhood bar if you're going to be a regular. It's definitely a dingy, dark, let's get loud type of bar.The food is about a 3 out of 5. The kitchen can be slow.Like a lot of dive neighborhood bars, the drinks are much too strong. More alcohol does not equal a good drink. Just make the drink the way it's supposed to be made.
Melaura Rice: Surprisingly great breakfast spot, the fresh bread and omelettes are to die for. Fantastic bloody Marys and cocktails as well! Chill spot to watch premier league soccer games and enjoy a drink. Shoutout to Lauren who was an awesome server as well :)
Teresa Demorest: Not your typical menu which is great for those who like different. I had never been there but people who took us had a love it. It's all a matter of taste. Not mine.

Kelly Brown: Edited Review! My husband and I dined here in April 2023 and I am OBSESSED with the menu right now. Pre-pandemic, this was a 4/5 for me. Now, it's 5/5 and I seriously can't wait to be back and eat more food. The salads, the apps/small plates, and the chickpea masala...so good! The drinks have always been amazing and they still are.
Tonino Michienzi: Great food, great atmosphere, great football. You may not agree with jersey choice of the person seated across from you, but you can both enjoy the passion of the beautiful game.
Mary Warren: All I can say is this Speakeasy has a full kitchen with chefs and a full bar. The food was excellent, great atmosphere and good service. In addition to several well crafted signature beverages. Their made from scratch tomato soup is the best I've ever eaten.
Jennifer: Amazing food and atmosphere! Street parking was a little tough, but not an obstacle. Menu selection was unique and delicious.
Amanda Hardy: Great food, great area, great experience. We come for weekend brunch and have never been disappointed. Love the atmosphere here and always surprised it's not busier. Love coming here and bringing friends from out of town is a guarantee win for the visit.
Michael Belligan: I had dinner (new menu just started!) and attended the “Science on Tap” event that they hold fairly regularly. The menu looked great and I LOVED my tofu bahn mi sandwich (vegan, but you can get it with pork). Don’t sleep on requesting a side of the homemade french onion dip for the chips that come with all handhelds! Add a few Prague Underground pilsners from City Built Brewing Co just down the street and it was a killer dinner! I’ll definitely be back! 🙌🏼

Elisabeth Gross: Cocktails and food were amazing!!! I wish I had taken a picture of the smoked bourbon drink. It was really cool.I had the grilled cheese. It was fantastic. We also had some sort of goat cheese/ tomato appetizer, 10/10!We were a bit bummed that our waitress seemed to have forgotten about our table, and we waited about 15 minutes at the end, trying to get her attention. Finally, we just had to go up to the bar and ask for help.
Maddie Archer: This place does it all. One of the best brunch spots in GR but also a fantastic place for dinner and cocktails. Comfortable atmosphere with great menu items. Would recommend to anyone visiting Grand Rapids!
Joel Montgomery: I never leave reviews, but this was ridiculous.Waited over an hour for the food, granddaughters mac and cheese was cold, the grilled cheese with bacon had no bacon, and the world famous olive burger had NO OLIVES. Would not have complained if the waitress would've let us know up front or through out the hour that they only had one cook. Not going back, would not recommend.
s mulvaine: Great cocktails relaxed atmosphere for a place in GR. I've been many times and have never been disappointed. The service is great and even the simplest menu items like tomato soup and grilled cheese are so well prepared you will remember it. The menu changes but it is always versatile and inclusive with a few unique vegan options. I get something different every time and recommend this place to anyone that will listen.

CC: Good food and atmosphere. It’s got a cozy, dimly lit classic bar vibe. Definitely the spot for soccer games. The food can be a bit slow, so if you go during your lunch hour I’d recommend putting your order in quickly. The pit boss wrap is so good.Update: Unfortunately this place has done a major menu change, and not for the best. We’ve tried out the new menu twice now and were disappointed both times. Most recently we tried the sticky chicken sandwich… it was honestly the worst chicken sandwich we’ve ever had. Just downright gross. They’ve also scaled down the portions. Wont be back to this one.

Vi K-C: Really great drinks and really great vibe, I just wish they had more snack and food options. But otherwise, great service and drinks and strongly recommend! Good thing is that you can bring in your own food during the weekdays, but I'd honestly rather just order through them if I could.

Anthony Vickers: Bar tender was needlessly rude They were was weirdly aggressive about where we were “allowed” to sit. We were of 5 who just wanted to sit away from the speaker but we were told we can have “one” small table or we had to sit in the in the back. There were 2 tables open where we wanted to sit. Last time I checked 5 people sitting at 2 tables is the same as 5 people sitting in the back by the speaker. The bartender had dyed grayish hair. Left without getting drinks and went next door to Post Off. Much better experience.
Robert Breyer: The best whiskey sour I've ever had. Made properly with egg whites and improperly with the rye I requested. We're definitely coming back!
Brad Moelker: Grest service and dark cozy atmosphere. Music was loud for a small cocktail bar but not intrusive. Ask for the espresso martini with egg white and mint. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
Brittany Grashik: This was just an alright spot for cocktails. Atmosphere gave a speakeasy kind of feel. Bar tender a little passive aggressive, cocktails super sour and not the greatest. We would not come back to this bar next time we are in town.

Paul A: This place has a true cocktail bar vibe. The atmosphere and friendly mixologists working there really add to the excellent taste of the craft cocktails. I wanted to try them all, but cut myself off at 3. If you like bourbon I would suggest the Faun, that was my favorite, but they were all amazing. Three of us were able to get a table right away around 630pm, but I imagine it gets much busier after 8. If you like craft cocktails this should be on your list to visit.
