Bruce Popejoy: Stayed two nights...bring your own pillows, tissue and toilet paper. Pillow feel like they are air and I had six, and still could not hold my head in a comfortable position. Tissues and toilet paper are very rough.They have sound machine attached to the clock, walls are thin and hallway noise can keep you up.Ultra conservative college, so beware of all the Bible verses.Breakfast was good, plenty of choices.

Monique Carne: We booked a room for 2 nights when moving our freshman into Calvin. The lobby area, food space & staff were wonderful. Room- not so much. It needs to be at least equal to any local hotel in the area for the same price. No refrigerator, desk, only one chair and such a low toilet. Needless to say- we stayed once but not again when we travel 800 miles to Grand Rapids .

Elisa: Very pretty venue with lots of space. The food was good and the wait staff was very tentative. The bar tenders were very great and made the experience fun. Only downfall is even though we had an event with almost 200 no one kept up with the bathroom maintenance.. I can see where this would be fine in some cases but when you have an open bar, the women's bathroom with broken stall locks, and we ran out of toilet paper it was a little less than enjoyable but we all made it work..

Jo-C Coleman: It was a very nice conference center. Parking is close to main entrance. Plenty of room inside. Main lobby is clean. Ladies bathroom was stocked and clean. It was a bit warm in the room, if you were tired, you might have fallen asleep. Our groups were having fun so we stayed awake. But it was warmer than I expected.

Kevin Skinner: We had my niece's wedding here last Saturday. Everything went smooth. They had plenty of staff available and they were friendly. The layout of the building is nice and allows everything to flow very well. We had about 80 people for this reception and I didn't notice any traffic jams at the bar or bathrooms or anything. The food was pretty good but not as high quality as I expected. Another small room for improvement would be to offer more coat racks and have more trash cans placed throughout the building. Other than that everything was great! Thanks!
Cheryl Johns: We recently had our annual company party at Crossroads Conference Center. Kristie, Toni and Ashley were AMAZING! Their attention to detail, positive attitudes and passion to provide an outstanding event sealed the deal. The venue was perfectly decorated which created an ideal ambiance for our event. The timing was flawless. From the beginning, to hors d’oeuvres, to dinner, to dessert, to the party portion of the event and to the end. Everything flowed perfectly. Distinctive Catering provided exceptional food and incredible staff as well. A huge shout out to Valerie as she went above and beyond with her bartending duties. I would not hesitate to have future events here. It was refreshing to work with people who make the process easy and truly care about the experience of each guest. Thank you again Ladies! You are awesome!!!

Kayleigh Billings: Toni takes pride in her events going smoothly, and it shows. My first walk in, the tables and room were decorated to perfection, and I was greeted with smiles, asked if I needed anything, and handed me a schedule for the event.. Once the event started, guests and vendors were fed in a timely fashion, and the plates were empty due to the great cooking from chef. The banquet staff were on top of all, and I mean all requests from guests and vendors alike. Toni and her staff took care of everyone under their roof and ensured everyone was fed and having a great time, on time. I hope to do more events here in the near future!
Arielle Major: If you want someone to care about your wedding and/or reception like it was their own, then Kristie is your person. Kristie has an incredible passion, positive attitude, and creative mind. Planning a wedding/reception during a pandemic is quite difficult, but with Kristie, she made it happen. We ended up in a tent in the parking lot due to the COVID limitations. The entire event was perfect and every last detail was taken care of. The food is really good, don't let the word "catering" of "Distinctive Catering" deceive you. Lastly, when we had to scramble and figure out a music situation, Kristie not only reached out to a contact, but she got it all setup and tested for me on the big day. Kristie definitely made the day go so well. Lastly, the staff is very professional and courteous as well.

brandi johnston: HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE ! Kristie was amazing to work with. She made sure my vision came true. she also worked very well with my vendors for our wedding. We were able to have both or ceremony and reception here ! Very convenient for guests with onsite parking. This place has great food, great drinks, great lighting, and all around a great atmosphere. One of the best parts is the hotel next door !the only thing , is the google address is wrong ! But google maps will take you to the correct place !

Karl Peterman: Had a multi day conference here that included an exhibitor show, multiple catered meal times, and technical meetings. The facility is very nice and clean. I saw multiple people taking care of the facility throughout the day. The meeting rooms had good sound separation so even with amplified speakers we were not distracted by meetings next door. Whoever was doing coffee and then the food for breaks and lunches did amazing. Good location too with a few different hotels to choose from nearby and the Grand River to watch.

Newman Family Dental: The DeVos Place is the Best Grand Rapids location for seminars and conferences. Not only are the conference accommodations clean and convenient but the catwalk back to the Amway Grand makes this a perfect event location without having to drive back to another hotel.The DeVos Place also has well thought-out acoustics in their various rooms, with larger video displays in some to allow hosting larger dinners / seating arrangements away from the stage. (Check the schedule for the Feb annual car show!) 😁

Heather: Ridiculous utterly appalling how they changed My Fair Lady the classic musical into a parade of something. That I will not publicly type on this review. However when the "Bride" came out that scene alone was disgusting to watch. Please in the long run leave the classics alone how they were portrayed in the beginning. Some musicals are not meant to be changed regardless of the time and "everyone coming out"

Charmaine Powell: Went here for whiskey festival and it was over crowded, when you got the whiskey menu they didn't have some of the whiskey we wanted to try and the numbers on the menu to go to the right table were hard to find because the numbers were at table level not up high so they would be easier to read. Kinda disappointed after driving an hour away to go to this event.

Eddie Johns: The Kent ISD campus has been a great place for several of our professional development sessions. They have a variety of rooms available for groups and everytime I have attended a session here they had coffee available which is a nice bonus! Being housed by so many resources, it is a convenient place to go if you have education questions or needs and are in the Kent ISD.

Ryan Bowers: The team at Postma was very helpful and accommodating. I popped in to visit the venue before all of the planning got underway and that was very helpful. The day of the event was a great experience. They provided parking signage and a person to direct traffic. Guests found us readily. The technology is spot-on and monitored by the team throughout the day. Their catering recommendation was perfect and they obviously work together often which made my job easier in managing the event. I've worked on numerous business events over the years and the Postma Center was very professional and ensured that our 120-person event went smoothly. I would return again & recommend them highly.
