David Kelley: The mortgage servicing here is a joke. I bought a house in SC and LMCU apparently bought the loan to act as the servicer. Ever since then I've had issues. I had issues signing up for their separate mortgage portal. I then had issues when they changed this portal a few years later. I'm now experiencing issues again now that they have "consolidated" their websites. When I call the number for tech support, trying to get registered for the 3rd time, I'm then sent to the the mortgaging center where there is another phone tree and separate wait. Clearly these are not integrated. I also had an issue where my property tax was too high and despite sending them an updated bill from the county, they still charged the higher rate. I called about this several times and was never given a refund. Instead they applied the extra balance to my mortgage principle. If LMCU buys your mortgage, look to refiance as soon as fiscally possible.
SHIREEN NIMER: Horrible! I would not recommend dealing with this credit union… run, unless you want to get screwed. It took me 4 weeks to close out on a auto loan because they wanted me to do all the work that they are supposed to do. They told me to get insurance on my vehicle before sending out the loan which was fine, But I was paying for insurance on a vehicle I didn’t even have in my driveway for a whole month, they did not care. It takes them a full day to two to get a response, they claim they will call back but never do… i felt like a stalker trying to get ahold of my “loan manager” Michael. None of the staff are trained, none are professional, and none of them know the right information about anything. One person tells me a document will work and the next day they tell me it doesn’t work. I lost out on $4000 because they tell me one thing and it’s the complete opposite. And the “manager” has no interest whatsoever in helping… she needs to train all her workers including herself. HORRIBLE in every way.

E Hansen: I wouldn't recommend them for a home equity loan. We do alot of banking with them and it has always been fine and pleasant but a simple home equity loan is going to take us 55 days to get funds. Blamed it on staffing issues. It has caused lots of stress and frustration for our family and the family we were going to purchase property from. Almost caused the deal to fall through multiple times.
Tyler Groenendal: I strongly urge anyone considering LMCU for their mortgage needs to look elsewhere. Due to an enormously flawed process for selecting home appraisers, they directly cost me tens of thousands of dollars through no fault of my own when purchasing my first home. My experience has given me very little confidence in the integrity or consumer focus of LMCU and, as such, I have also closed all remaining accounts using their consumer banking services as well. I will never be using any of their services again, and I urge anyone reading this to do the same.
Sweet Leaf Glass: Was pre approved on the home side for a significant loan amount. Eventually went to commercial for a loan of a similar amount, to try and buy the building my business is in. Only to have Jack refuse to consider funds in my business accounts as income for a down payment. Wasted weeks of my time when I had a short deadline to say "he couldn't support my loan" . The result, I lost the building and a prime location for my business, lost thousands of dollars in lost profits and moving expenses.
Isaac Schultz: Put a retail presence in Lansing if you're going to try and capture all the lending business there. Give me a break. I can have my mortgage through LMCU on a house in Lansing but I can't cash a check? Last I checked Lansing was part of Michigan.

We get attitude and no genuine communication. We won't be continuing our relationship with this bank when we have had such wonderful experiences with others in the area.

Stephanie Terry: Do not bank with this credit union. Their customer service is terrible and they will transfer you to a manager who will do nothing for you. They closed my debit card, while I was out of town in Florida for possible fraudulent charges, after declining my card at a travel stop for gas. The account had well over 2000K in it. When I called to have the card reinstated, on a Sunday before a "holiday" Columbus Day, I was told that they were not able to do this and I would need a new card. Problem was, they denied the gas charge, it was 2 days before I could even think about getting another card, and I was 1500 miles from home with ONLY this card. I don't believe in CC. They basically left me stranded without cash, card or gas!! They were sorry... but because customer service didn't open unit Tuesday they could do nothing!!.. Needless to say..this account will be closed along with the savings account.

Paul Bartlett: I’ve been with LMCU since 2010 and they’ve helped me ever since. Have an auto loan with them and credit card. Both have significantly helped my credit score go way up! Amazing service. Just got a significant bump to my credit card limit and the service was excellent and fast thanks to Amir M!

Jimmy Loner: So manager at Comstock Park Mi. Stops me as I am still in the store going to leave and accuses me of STEALING my groceries. I said I paid for them, he said no you didn't. He told me to go to service desk and pay or he would have security come and escort me out. I went to service desk to which they told him I paid. I told him I would be reporting this and he said he could make it so I can't shop there again. I am very upset and having him accuse me right in front of all those customers checking out. The managers name is Rob. Falsely accused.
Craig Berg: I shop at the Meijer store in Battle Creek in Harper Village on B drive. This store since COVID has been the Worst Meijer that I have been in. I have gone to others to see if they are the same. They are not, Thank God. This store is never stocked, empty shelves product out of stock and the boxes just left empty. It really needs a housecleaning, I guess from the the management down. Help! This store please.
Peter W: Horrid pharmacy experiences. Their software pulls in invalid insurance information. Screws up 90 day scripts which negate any savings by using them. Their software also refills by last refill. So between human error and their software it’s not worth the aggravation. Also failed to notify me they couldn’t fill my stimulant script so by the time I needed it I couldn’t find it anywhere so I’m off that med for now. Meijer has made more mistakes in short time I have used them (about 6 months) than 30 years of taking meds.
Audrey Rose: They never stock meijer spring water, i have changed to busches spring water its just as good, cheaper and they keep it stocked. Meijer app is constantly locking me out, i have to change my password to get back in. Taking a picture of your receipt doesn't work for mperks so if you forget to scan your SOL. They say they put your receipt in manually when the scan doesn't work but it never shows up on your mperks reward. Customer service barely speak English and are reading from a script. They put you on hold several times to ask the manager questions but won't let you speak to a manager.
Leah Danoff: I shop primarily at the Bloomingdale, Illinois store and for the most part have praise for their staff's kindness and caring. However, during the Pandemic, Meijer removed their three benches - one near the front of the store and two in the middle of the store. I am 83 years old and at intervals I need to sit down. Now that the Pandemic has ceased its more serious threats, Meijer's has not reintroduced the benches. I have seen seniors sitting on display platforms because they need places to rest. And when I am tired I walk to the furniture section of the store and hoist down a folding chair which is perched on the wall. How much work would it entail for Meijer's to put the benches back for the convenience of its customers, particularly the senior citizens who make up a goodly portion of people who patronize their stores? Do people actually read these reviews?

Mary Parks: I am or shall I say was a loyal shopper at Meijer Mokena Illinois store, but today left me angry and speechless. I ordered groceries online for pickup. My pickup time was 6-7pm. I arrived at 5:20pm, call to ask if my groceries were ready for pickup. The customer service, Devin said the majority of my items were picked and it shouldn't be too much longer but if I didn't want to wait I could puck it up tomorrow. I said ok I'll wait. 2 cars had already gotten their groceries and left. 6pm, I get a call to say 3 people are working on my list and I should be getting my items by 6:30. I said 3 people wouldn't that make faster and maybe be done by 6:15. I'd already been waiting 45 minutes. Well 6:30 came and went. 6:31pm after 9 cars pulled up, got their groceries and left, Devin apologizes and says Ithere were 9 more items. I waited until 7:03pm Still No Groceries. I called to ask about the order that wasn't ready. They asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I told them they cancelled my order once it hit 7pm. Make it make sense that I waited 1 hour 45 minutes, 3 minutes after my designated time and still NO GROCERIES????? Jewel here I come.
Stephanie Farrar: OPEN YOUR DRESSING ROOMS. I am not spending 35$ on a pair of pants that I can't try on. I refuse to purchase any clothing without trying them on. If ppl can shop in your stores they can go into a dressing room.
j ann: Filthy stores and bathrooms, moldy produce including fruits and vegetables, short staffed, extremely rude managers and cashiers and long lines. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Sadly, this is not just the location at 5150 Coolidge but their other locations as well. But they have "Greeters." Isn't that nice? Then, when you call corporate customer service to resolve an issue, they send you back to the staff at the store you had the problem with. Meijer, you need to up your game. Take a look at how Kroger Customer Service handles their problems. They listen to your issue, give you a $20 gift card and you are on your way. At least they are trying a little something to show they appreciate you and are sorry for your trouble. A $20 store gift card is going back into your pocket anyway Meijer. It's time I start spending my hard earned money at Kroger!
Megan Chandler: I visited Westland Meijer and am left completely disgusted. Every 5 minutes from 11pm on they announce that they are closing. That is incredibly annoying. It gave me the worst anxiety. I work all day I'm lucky if I make it to the store, and then to be straight up harassed?? I live in Monroe. The Meijer in Monroe makes 3 announcements. 3! I feel this is a discrimination issue. Due to the location. How sad, in this day and age. What's good for one should be good for all. The management that allows this should be fired. The intimidation during the announcements should not be tolerated. I have video of this.
Michelle Culver: The new Mperks program is horrible. I do NOT save more money infact I'm losing. 10 points for every dollar, but I have to spend 1000 points to save a dollar. The old reward system was better. I feel cheated and will be shopping else where.

dorothy shader: The Meijer on 13 mile in Madison Heights makes people order vanilla cupcakes 24 hrs in advance. They will only make multi, chocolate and vanilla available for customers shopping in the store. Why? Not all people like both vanilla and chocolate and what's the problem with making both vanilla and chocolate a choice. The bakery people don't answer the phone. I got hung up on twice by customer service trying to reach them. Than the third time I get connected and she tells me they're not taking anymore orders for tomorrow. I called Corporate to file a complaint. They're not taking calls or messages. Try later is their response.Meijer customer service is unacceptable as is their departments not answering their phone. Corporate is just as bad and cost cutting is their incentive and raising prices while not delivering the services and products they advertise. They are the bottom of the barrel in retail supermarkets. Their shelves are always empty with products they advertise to get people in the store. Coupons are good only if you stock the items. They need a lesson in how to operate a supermarket without lame excuses like no help. They don't want to pay or hire good employees . People are waiting in long lines to check themselves out. Self checkout was supposed to be faster. Now they insult us by putting our time on there clock.
Evonne Higdon: Staff unfriendly and rude, scripts often partial fills. Have problem at the local pharmacy often. Just spent almost an hour in drive thur to pick up a script they allowed the car in front of me to sit for 40 min while the filled her scripts.
Joe Spinella: The owners should be ashamed at what they have become. I’ve been a loyal Meijer shopper all my life, but at this point, I am completely done and will pay more to shop at local grocers. The inability for these stores to staff clerks and/or increase the automated checkout process is inexcusable. It was understandable during the pandemic, but at this point, it’s simply corporate greed and complete mismanagement that drives this. Every time I have stepped into a store the past few years, there is a ludacris line - customers should not have to wait longer in line than to shop. Today, by 10am, there were no carts and a line to the back of the store while the parking lot was barely half full.
