M.D.O.C Parole Office: what do users think?
Mary Joyce: It's just a place where people who are on probation or parole have to go to check in with there Agents. It's not the greatest place to go to but for those that have to go there it is what it is.
Luis Santos: My po was fair and just, but she held me to a high standard, parole wasn’t easy, but I’m glad I was blessed with an agent who actually cared.
Angela Harger: Your parolees drop dirty and they walk out free. They leave their address and move in with another felon and still nothing. Once you give him those papers, he'll be right back in lock up. Good luck Jill!

State of Michigan Department of Human Services: what do users think?
shelby sanders: It'd be nice if you could get ahold of somebody in and quit hanging up the phone on you.
Kendall Garcia: So let me get this straight, unless you have an eviction notice DHS won't even bother to look at the case for SER? Let alone if you even qualify because making 2,300 a month being self employed is "too much".At this point you're better off being homeless and hungry then trying to get benefits from the state. Coz unless you got kids or are a senior, they don't care about your struggle
Mike Mahone: if you call they hang the phone up on you while you’re in the que. ive been calling constantly and it says you’re first in the que or 2nd and then hangs up on their own. they disconnect you purposely . im taking a video of it right now to report it.
Cher Anna: Very inefficient. Understaffed. Waited over 40 minutes what customer service to take my call being first in line.
Dennis Faber: They do a good job on how many people they serve. Most of all they smile back 😁
upFull Exploration: These people abuse special needs children & low income families for profit
Charles Tisron: I received an email telling me I had to update my information to get EBT. the email said I could do this online. I tried several times. I could not log in, wouldn't except my password. now Now I'm locked out. Tried to start a new account. I cannot because an account already exists in my name. Was on the phone for four hours could not get through to a person. I am going down to the dhs on Franklin today. Hopefully I can talk to somebody. If I don't get this done by today, my case will be closed.
Carol Dutkiewicz: We need help for my sister-in-law. Been waiting for a medicaid waiver for 8 months.she will be dead before we get help
Auna Sue: How the heck do you contact these people? Every time they call me I am unavailable and there is no way to ever call them back.
Abby: The lady on the phone was super nice and helpful!!! Answered all my questions too!!☺️
Jonathon Carrillo: Resources for people in this city is a joke. It has become abundantly clear that this city nor its commissioners care about the people that live here at all. Not only is it impossible to get ahold of anyone at the DHS office it is also impossible to get anything done. My mother has had constant appointments that have not been kept by the department, as well as phone calls and voicemails that have not been returned, and documentation not filed or properly taken. My mom went months without any assistance even though she is physically disabled and was on the verge of homelessness. If it was not for the fact that I have been taking care of her these last few months she would be on the street starving. It is no wonder the homeless population in Grand Rapids is one of the worst in the state if not the country. It is laughable that people are getting paid to do the jobs that they are not doing. I have worked in customer service and people facing positions my whole life and never have I seen people treated as terribly as they are by this cities workers. Hopefully someone brings legal action against these atrocious injustices soon and can help restore some balance to the lower class citizens who deserve the assistance they are entitled to.
Jacki Traxler: Been trying for over a week to get ahold of my caseworker. I have called every single day. Got a letter and it Said I had a appt and had to go down to the office but I could call to do it over the phone. Can’t get ahold of anyone to schedule it and the appointment is tomorrow.
Mo Ward: Was on the phone for over 3 hrs to do an address change and get all the paperwork sent so I could get everything updated, just to have it finally ring through and be told there are system problems and to try back later, so wonderful that could not have been said before the 3 hr wait. I understand busy I do not however understand incompetence.
Ty N: Called and left a message about a week ago. Tried again today and a gentleman Jake called me back promptly and assisted me with what I needed and seemed happy to do so! Thank you sir!
Tonia Babi: These people are a joke how everything sky high nobody help with deposit or anything for families
Anonymous: Should be 0. The case workers are beyond rude and act like you're stupid & inconveniencing them IF you can actually get in touch with anyone. 👎
Steve Angus: Called several times and no one ever answers. Left messages for a return call. NO RETURN CALL AFTER 3 WEEKS OF LEAVING messages
Margo: Very helpful
Brittany Lapekes: Currently waiting approval for help with security deposit for an apartment that's income based and would get my son & I out of a toxic & abusive living environment and they come back saying I was approved but that theres a copay...so let me get this straight...some mom with 6 kids by 6 different dads can get her transportation, food and rent paid for but a single mom trying to better her life and not get beat and left black and blue by her child's father needs to pay a copay to get help to move ...
Shante Milon: CPS child protection services … Please know your rights when having a case especially when you are innocent and prove it. CPS is literally set you up for failure. If you are indicated you can LOSE everything that’s going for you and future jobs. However, seek a lawyer , do not communicate to an investigator it is NOT a requirement. Ashley and Renee Fisher has set me up for failure I’m only 25! With a newborn I can’t see.
Rebecca O'Connor: Worst service ever I’ve been trying to get ahold of my caseworker for over 2 months now I’ve emailed her I’ve called her no answer. She only gave me food stamps for one month and that’s it. I tried to call the this office and it always just beeps it won’t even ring to get me to a person to talk about it. I’m very upset nobody seems to want to help me
