Mark Hartman: The Theatrics staffers, especially Quinn, did a great job helping us with outfits for our "Roaring 20s" themed Rusty Warrior Fundraiser event held at St. Adalbert's Fraternal Aid Society (Fifth Street Hall). Need an outfit or costume for a special event? Go see the folks at Theatrics! Great service, fair prices, very helpful. Well worth the time to check out their store.

Jacob Deliefde: Been coming here for years- like to support local… tried to return an unworn witches hat- still had tag attached, receipt… folded crease 2 days after purchase… rude worker with greasy long hair snaps- saying that there are signs all over saying no returns… hmmm yet didn’t say that at time of purchase. Wouldn’t have a problem with that except for this guy was off the charts rude about it- bizarre. Last time will ever step foot.

Sara Zimmerman: Just was told I couldn’t get balloons as a walk in. I just wanted a couple and couldn’t get them filled. They said they had balloons orders. So, don’t go here if you just want one or two balloons. Poor customer service.
Melissa Springer: I was nervous ordering balloons for my son's birthday based on some of the reviews. Since I had a great experience, i thought I'd share for someone who might be hesitant to order. I found the balloons I wanted on Party City's website and ordered them ahead of time. The day of I received a text when the balloons were ready for pickup. This was about 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time so the balloons were just filled and not sitting around all day. The guy working the counter was friendly and fast. I was in and out within minutes. The balloons have held up great! My son loved them. If possible, I would recommend ordering your balloons ahead of time and scheduling your pickup. It was such a fast, easy process.

Lia O.: Stopped in on Friday to get balloons from my friend who was turning 60.I was super excited to get balloons for her on her special day.I paid for them and I walked over to the girl who is taking care of my balloon order and she rolled her eyes and huffed hard,I was really surprised because I thought it was okay for me to watch.I asked her if she was okay? And she rudely told me I was supposed to wait by the checkout lane like I was told.She told me she was a manager and honestly if that's the type of person you have representing your business I suggest "Ebony take more training courses for mangement because she is not it she almost ruined my vibe for the day

Came in two days ago looking for some specific balloons, after I called and asked if they have it, they said yes when I got there they don’t. I was trying to get a solution and I asked if I can get the want was displayed and Ebony throw the ballon and said “give it to her, so she can get out of here” really bad customer service.
Elisa: Although a decent store it's honestly worth driving into Grandville if you are looking for particular items. I've stopped here many times and can never seem to find what I need. They do have the basics usually but are little slim on other things. The store itself has been clean every time but entering and leaving the parking lot is a NIGHTMARE and that alone to me is worth the drive to the other!

Tara Wudkewych: Very fun store with a full range of costume needs. This is the only place I could find the Ben Nye setting spray, and they have a full range of authentic Ben Nye products and other theater makeup brands. Definitely a one stop shop for costume needs!

Lucifer Hawk: AMAZING Customer service!! It's pretty close to Halloween and my gf decided that I have to dress up as a certain character in about 5 days. It turns out that the only costume that she found acceptable was sold out just about everywhere! I called Kotume Room at about 11pm on a Saturday night, and was shocked that I not only got an answer, but the woman who answered was SUPER helpful. She went to the back to see if there were any of the items left that I was searching for, and there was JUST ONE! So she saved it for me and told me that she would get it shipped out ASAP and will get to me in time for my event. Not only do they have an awesome price point -- I heard some of the workers in the background being super helpful to find the item as well even tho everybody was off work and off the clock. Couldn't recommend this place more! 3
Kenie1: This shop has everything. It's open all year long and works with different theaters, actors, etc. BUT when Halloween comes around, it's always the first place I go! Those pop-up stores are always crazy busy, everything is in shambles and the service doesn't come close to what it is at Kostume Room.They have bagged costumes, accessories and masks to buy, beautiful and fun costumes for rent, professional stage makeup, makeup/scar/ wound application tools, colored contacts, and a lot more. If you want to dress up for Halloween, this place better be on your list!

Brett & Traci Pierce: Went into exchange a costume I had bought that was broken when I bought it. I didn’t realize it was broken until minutes before trick or treating while camping so we had to make it work to avoid a toddler melt down when everyone else went. Went to exchange it today and was told because it was worn and we repaired it (with a zip tie) we couldn’t exchange it because it wasn’t in “saleable” condition. I lost my mind. I was told that even the “big manager” said I couldn’t exchange it. Only after I demanded to speak to this “big manager” did the tune change on the staffs demeanor and policy. Are you kidding me?!? I have to demand to speak to a manager to exchange a costume that was sold to me broken. Terrible costumer service and I’d give 0 stars if I could.
