Michael Bieri: Staff were EXTREMELY helpful in helping me sort out my needs. A piece of nylon belting and a couple of jean buttons.

ferrelli1001: They have beautiful fabrics that are high quality. I love to shop there. They carry Robert Kaufman, Benartex, Moda, Free Spirit, Kona, Windham, and other fabrics you'll recognize. They have decorator fabrics, 100 % cottons, bolts and bolts of fleece, apparel fabric, flannel, trims, and notions galore. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. In my opinion, their quality and selection is superior to the large fabric and craft store.

I recently searched many stores as well as internet for a specific wool fabric. By description alone they found EXACTLY what I was looking for! Customer for over 30 years and a customer for life.

Barbara Kaaikala: I like to support independently owned businesses. Even though I live an hour away and have little time to sew, I try to shop at Fields when I do need something. Today I made a pillow bed for my granddaughter using the "envelope method" with 60" wide fabric from Fields. The pictures didn't turn out well, but the pillow bed is very cute! I used instructions from the blog It's Always Autumn and from Olga Ling on YouTube.
Sarah Holmes: We left the location in Holland to come here because they were so rude. I'm so glad we did! The selection and customer service is unbeatable! They were not annoyed with my little dude who is very vocal and playful and even played cars with him while cutting fabric. They helped me figure out the math for what I needed with kindness and patience. This type of atmosphere should be the norm but it's rare to find 5 star customer service and selection. Go to fields on Plainfield!

It’s not like going into Michael’s or Hobby Lobby (those are good too) where they’re too busy to help you.
