Brian Connolly: Excellent job! I can safely say that my knives weren’t this sharp new. Regular, santoku and serrated all wickedly sharp and I’m reminded why I spent the money on the knives in the first place. At least 2 of the 5 knives I had sharpened no longer had their points from being dropped into the sink. They have been restored! Worth every penny and I will take them back.

Autumn Poisson: Had an unfortunate experience, giving two stars instead of 1 because it's Christmas time, but here's what happened. Messaged Matt telling him I was dropping knives (12/7) , got them "sharpened" and picked them up (12/12). Used them for about a week before realizing they were not actually sharpened. Contacted him and he said to bring them back (12/18) and they'd be sharpened before Christmas. Contacted the 23rd and he said they hadn't been at the store to be picked up, even though I had dropped them 12/18. Called the store and they tell me they've been trying to contact Matt because he failed to get all the knives that pick up date but he wasn't answering. Super unprofessional on his part. Especially considering I drove 25 minutes to the store from Rockford 4 times and never even got sharpened knives!! If you're looking for knives sharpened, try somewhere else.

Seth Cooper: Matt did a great job putting a 15 deg bevel on my old chefs knives so my electric sharpener will have better luck sharpening them in the future.

Herbal Tea: Wow, my knife was SHARP! Haven't tried my kitchen shears yet but they feel very sharp and they were tightened too. Very quick turnaround. The ladies at the drop off location were so sweet. Matt was very nice and professional on the phone and definitely knows how to get a blade sharp! This was a great store concept and we made many purchases over the years. Our store here held out closing until the bankruptcy so it was clearly one of their better stores.

Kristy Turner: I went here to purchase something that I found in the ad that they mailed me. They had the item that I wanted and luckily I found the last one. I went with my kids and the manager lady, Tina, was so nice to us. My kids had their own money and we had separate checkouts. It got really confusing but Tina kept her cool and I really appreciated it. Also they have a really cool travel size section. So if you're ever going away on a trip or just need travel size or something like that they had really cool stuff. I'm not talking about Meijer where they have a little baby section, it was like a huge section with everything, even brand name cool stuff.

While my wife tended to her things at home, I headed to BBY. I discovered that I could buy a new pillow for less than ten bucks. Or, going up the scale, I could buy one for over 150 bucks. I opted for one nearer to the low price. I thought the store was well organized for finding what I was looking for. The aisles were clear and clean. The cashier was kind and cheerful.
