Real Property Management Investment Solutions - Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Britta Johnson: I have been a tenant since April of 2021. I recently moved out. I was told by my property manager in writing that I will receive my security deposit back within 30 days of moving out. It has been 7 WEEKS and I still have yet to receive it. I have emailed my property manager Jaylyn and texted and have received 0 communication back. I have even contacted the contact us page. But still nothing. All I want is my security deposit back. I have a copy of my lease and all email communication that states that I will receive my security deposit back within 30 days. I will continue fighting this until I get it back. The lack of communication with the property management company is unreal. For example, I went TWO WEEKS with an unlocked door because the door was broken until they did something about it. If you put in a work order, don’t plan on it going anywhere for 2+ weeks. The fact that my safety was at risk because no one would come out to help fix the issue is ridiculous. There is a big lack of communication between the tenant and the property manager. You will be lucky to even receive an email back within one week.
Maria Zalazar: Worst service ever, they stole our money. They said the were going to deposit us the rental collected and they never did. Not only that but also they have never replied our emails o messages. They are scammers. DEFINITELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE AT ALL.IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE THEY HAVE DISAPPEARED WITH OUR MONEY.-
Taylee McDonald: I am a tenant through one of their properties. I lost access to my appfolio account and it won’t let me change my password and I’ve tried contacting them so many times in the past 2 days and not a single person has gotten back to me. I have heard absolutely nothing from anyone. Extremely unprofessional.
Ellie Wierenga: Some of their rental properties are run down&outdated
Rachel Maxfield: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness
anna ellege: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessReal Property Management's knowledge of the rental industry, combined with their passion for delivering the best service to their tenants and owners makes them #1!
Haleigh Blackburn: Leaves Tenants WITH CHILDREN Without Hot Water or Gas To Cook For 4 Days.
Jessica Graham: Positive:Quality,ValueExcellent Communication ! Clean Livable Looking Place for A Price That Is Reasonable. Also quick response on maintenance requests! Pics to come when Im done unpacking!! Property Manager Nicole at the Grand Rapids has been very helpful! TY😁☺
Natalie Weller: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessMy roommates have applied to several places through here. We rarely get call backs or email back from those applications. Also application fees are non refundable (which in any normal situation would be fine, however to not even hear a response back is so unprofessional) please do better
Angela Jewell: Never call you back. You have to hound them to vet them to answer there phone
Michael Flores: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Zach Nelson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueStaff has been very nice. They were on time and professional. All inquiries are being answered in a timely fashion.
Dan Beirne: I am a land lord in GR and RPM was unresponsive and unclear with fee structures. There was one employee who was wonderful and communicative but she is no longer there. Unfortunately cannot recommend them.
Samuel L: INITIAL CONVERSATION BELOWHello, I hope that you are having a great day. I am not sure if this is who or how to go about his, but I cannot get a hold of anyone by phone or text because of my phone is not working. I am on a month to month lease at the property in Big Rapids, and I truly don't know what to do. My Realtor Amanda has been an amazing blessing in helping me acquire the apartment for rent, after I was forced to move by my Landlord who evicted me to move her son in after I lived there for 5 years with perfect tenancy. With less time to move than was legal, Amanda was still able to find me a place which I took without looking at first because it was literally the only available property in my price range and relatively in an area that I felt safe and I did not want to have to sleep in my car. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to stay there because it was a lot smaller than I had imagined and one of the closets in the pictures I had seen I had mistaken for a bedroom because of how the angle of the picture was taken I thought I had the whole bottom half of the duplex and not a 1/4 of it. I had to rent two storage units to fit my things in and place the rest at one of my mother's houses. After speaking with her she offered me a blessing and an amazing opportunity to live here, rent free so I could save up for my own home if I chose not to want this one. I mentioned this to my Realtor about a week and a half to two weeks ago along with how to go about ending my lease. I was told that after I paid my rent on November first that I would have to then put in my notice, and the issue arises with receiving my deposit back and the cost of the carpets to be shampooed. I have never slept in the apartment and have only been there once to drop off some of my clothing which you may inspect the apartment to validate the truth or ask the other tenants how many times I have been there. I truly do not have money to waste as I already have just to cover the costs to rent. which was $1245. I truly hoped to be able to stay there on my own but with the costs of the units and the price of rent having gone up after it was posted for less and was told I could move in at that cost, I simply cannot afford everything in the long run if I were wanting to save up for a different home. I know this is no ones fault and I hate how much life has changed for me int he past month, but I accept any change as a part of life, and just wanted a little peace of mind as to how we could go about ending my month to month lease. I am so sorry for inconvenience this may have caused for anyone and apologize I could not get a hold of anyone sooner - as my phone has been temporarily out of service. I don't know how to get a hold of who I need to but this matter is urgent as I cannot bare the thought of having to pay money I barely have for another month to rent a place to store my clothes. Thank You so much for taking the time to read my concern and I pray I may have a response that allows me sleep at nights because being able to get my deposit returned is going to be crucial as my alternator is starting to show signs of going out with the electric dimming periodically, or it could be a loose wire, which I pray to God is all that it is. So much hardship for everyone during these times I really hope this does't have to be one of them. Again, Thank you so much and I look forwards to hearing from someone. I hope that you have a wonderful day! God. BlessAmanda PetersYou signed a legal binding document, whether you have been there 1 day or a year I am going to go by what the lease states. I am very sorry to hear that you are going through a rough time but unfortunately the lease holds both of us responsible. You can pay November in full or I can prorate it which will come to 312.49 making a difference in saving of 312.51. According to your lease a receipt must be provided for the floors. When you are ready to actually move out please turn in a forwarding address for your security deposit and turn in all keys.Thank you
AJ Storck: Positive:Responsiveness
Nicole Gomez: RPM has been absolutely wonderful to work with! They have excellent continuous communication, resolves issues with professionalism and in a prompt timely manor, and will do what it takes for success.
Asha Phadke: We tried RPM with two separate properties, and their communication and response time was poor both times, over two years. They worked with us on our rate for adding a 2nd property, which we appreciated, but we rarely heard back from Matt in a timely manner. Other staff were very helpful and kind. After we finished our second year with them, we changed management.
Marc Green: No consideration for the customer. Just funneling money out of my bank account and making living in Grand Rapids less convenient. They should consider training their employees.
Michaela Meckes: Terrible communicators. We've had so many issues as their renters. Any time we have called with issues, they have been unresponsive. They are unprofessional and unwilling to work with their renters.

Access Property Management Group of Grand Rapids, MI: what do users think?
Anima_et_Animus: Thought home showings were free? You were right, they were. However, Access Property Management will quickly disabuse you of that notion by charging you through Rently to see any of their properties. Awesome! Rently routinely will keep your funds and not provide codes, so you have the pleasure of PAYING just to see a place you may not even decide to live in, and getting your money stolen, too! Deciding to go this route is lazy to the absolute extreme and shows a lackadaisical disregard for any prospective tenants. This is already a further step in the low wages-high rent scene that is the modern age and is a disgusting overstep.
Chloe Christina: Pretty decent ngl
Póetic Justice: Management doesn’t care for brown people. Very rude and I wouldn’t advise anyone to lease or do business with this company.
Engineering Pride: The best property management I have ever been through. The whole application and rental process was easy and smooth. Management communicated and responded quickly and professionally. I worked with Mary and Eddie. They allowed me to make a decision to a home I was happy and comfortable with. Thank you all so much for your patience, professionalism and business. I look forward to working with Access.- Lucy Rodriguez
Mitchell Porch: Eddie (and team) have been awesome to work with! They are very professional and have a lot of common sense with handling issues that come up. They have already helped me and my partner tremendously and are worth every dime. Thanks a bunch!
Anthony-Yates Real Estate: The team at Access Property Management is extremely responsive. They are quick to answer any questions and take the time to explain. Highly recommended!!
Grouse Commander: The team at Access has done a great job with my rentals. Communication is great, monthly owner statements come on time, and Mary is wonderful at answering all of my "out of town investor" questions.
G. CRYDERMAN: I have tried to see this property at least 20times to no avail. No one has even tried to reach out. I called the number provided and was told the platform I had to sign up on. Not sure why I have to sign up for a tour and pay $1.99 fee per credit card just to see? Does this company charge you to see their property or is it a gimmick to get people's money and not actually let people view property?. Think about it 1.99per 50 people or more. I just don't understand. I have given my Driver's license, took pic, and also took pic of my military Id. Why aren't those pictures good enough to take a tour? This is new to me haven't encountered this type of thing before.
Danica Shier: No communication and compassion
Will Thrillington: Eddie and team are excellent. Efficient, highly skilled, and dedicated - they consistently knock it out of the park. In the past, I have always managed my own properties - but their communication and performance immediately alleviated all of my fears and concerns about delegating this important task. They work hard and definitely earn their keep - working with them has been a significant quality-of-life improvement for me.
Payton B: Overall a great experience from a first time rental property owner! Mary, Eddie, and Aaron have been great to work with. The team works diligently to keep my rentals running smooth. Any issues have been solved quickly and they very easy to get a hold if needed.
The Cleaner: Access Property Management has been great to work with. They were my property manager for two single family homes before I sold them. They communicated well, screened applicants and had great leases. I liked their Flat Fee Plan too. Highly recommend.
China Wood: I would like to say first off I have never rented through a company so anxious to take care of the issues I have whenever I have any, Eddie is awesome and does great with communicating and his team is very good at their job, Tim came and did a great job and was very kind to me I haven’t had too many good experiences with property managements but this one has got to be the best I have ever rented through.I would highly recommend Access Property Management to anyone looking for a quality home and a qualified team I am over satisfied and I appreciate the hard work they do.
Michael and Shaina Braun: Our property manager Aaron is exceeding our expectations. We are landlords with several properties in the city. Aaron has extreme attention to detail when taking care of our properties. Each placed tenant is thoroughly vetted. Maintenance calls are promptly scheduled and completed to keep our tenants happy. We have been through other property management companies in Kalamazoo and no other company can compare to Access Property Management's level of professionalism and care for our investment and our tenants.
Deb Unseld: Access property management was an absolute pleasure to work with. I stayed in one of their properties for 3 years and anytime I had a problem or maintenance issue it was taken care of professionally and quickly. They were very kind, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a place to rent.
Basil Kostaras: I've worked with Access for over a year now and they keep property management simple and transparent. They're responsive and extremely easy to get in contact with. They are respectful and responsive to tenants/prospective tenants and I'd highly recommend them to any new or experienced landlord who's looking for a great service at great price.
Matthew Brown: Great management company, very professional and organized.
Travis Mitchell: This is my first residential rental property and my first home. I also work in commercial property management and know a great company, when I see one.Responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and handle everything I don’t have time for.The contract is fair and easy to understand. Thanks, Eddie.
Loren Schafer: A year ago I decided to rent a property that I owned. It was a big decision for me as this was a property that was lived in by my family and I did not want the property to become just a rental. I interviewed at least three companies in the area and after I met Eddie from Access PM the decision was easy. A level headed ex-marine with property management experience and a solid company to back him. Access Property Management made renting easy and gave me the confidence to consider renting a second property. The property was rented within a week of listing. Funds are always deposited into my account timely and I receive notification when the funds are sent. Whether I own 1 property or a dozen, Access Property Management will be my property managers. And Eddie, thanks for always making me feel important and answering my texts. Well done!
Ramzi Harik: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI highly recommend Access Property Management. Aaron and his team have been great to work with, consistently going above and beyond. He worked hard to get my property ready to rent. And when it was ready they placed tenants very quickly. Access PM is very responsive and clearly dedicated to great customer service.
Gregory White: This is a top notch Property Management Company to Do Business With....No Issues Here💯✊🏾
