M. Hufstader: Update - 11.12.19 Well you never told us in July how easy it will be to broom snow off this composite deck. About 5 inches here and I was able to use a push broom and it just slid right off like a non-stick skillet. Yes it is very cold out but no matter how cold it was it always stuck to our old wood deck. No need to brush the railing off, with it being black metal and thinner than the old railing it just falls off. Very happy.July-2019 - We are happy with the work that Precision Remodeling did to replace our deck. They replaced our wood planking with composite decking and installed a new metal railing. It looks quite a bit better, and we have already had many compliments. They were very careful with the installation and did not rush it. It was also the cleanest and most organized work site we have seen here. They also responded quickly when we had questions or concerns. As far as the quoting process, they were very competitive and priced right. We do gladly recommend Precision. The photo of our old deck and railing shows what bad shape it was in, after many years, and coats of stain. Our view is wonderful, and has been improved with the new railing.

Can't say enough great things about the on site crew. Precise, careful measuring and thinking two steps ahead made for beautiful lines and great functionality. The Mgmt. Team did a great job as well, keeping supplies at the ready and making sure that work on the deck proceeded without a hitch. Our new deck is so gorgeous that total strangers in the neighborhood stopped by to check it out, and they ended up working with Precision on their new deck vision. I love that the company does not outsource their work what you see is what you get so I knew what crew was coming to me and I felt good that they were getting the money I love the fact that there is a 25 year warranty with no maintenance which makes the price point make more sense because ultimately that would be the price with all the maintenance that there would have been over the years my one tiny tiny tiny complaint is a was surprised that all the emails I received from the customer service never used my first name it was clearly personal because they knew what project it was the subject line was the project but not once did they say my first name (or last name they didn’t use any part of my name whatsoever ) which I would’ve appreciated it just feels a little bit more personal. Doug & Bev Sluss: Pros: Like the deck a lot. Makes the house look nicer. Got it done in a quick manner. Like the longer box step since the old step was short. Workers were good, friendly, polite, and admitted their mistakes (ground steps). They worked outside in cold weather.Cons: Changed ground step design from plans ended up causing non-optimal layout but acceptable, I guess. Raised edge piece (underboard trim installed too high) had to report twice; currently waiting for scheduled inspect/fix. Box step boards too tight to drain but acceptable, I guess.
