S Christen: Never do business with this company. Found them on Angie's list and they had a good rating. Until I called today and the old man who answered the phone - Ed VanderHoff was rude, disrespectful. Normally we would have just hung the phone up and said we don't want to do business with you.But.... 3 weeks ago when I called the first time a fella named Mark, who was a really nice guy came to our home and gave us a written quote for the work. With the holiday of the 4th and family issues, today was the first time getting back to them with a date to do the work. It was only 3 weeks from the original written estimate we were given, which seemed timely. Mark told us when he was at our home that because he was busy it may take a couple months to get it done. We were willing to do the work in July or August or possibly September but Ed VanderHoff said he wasn't going to do the work, because he didn't have to. What kind of answer is that for a company to use?I called today to schedule the work and Ed VanderHoff answered the phone and I had a bad feeling my day was not going to be good after speaking with him. He started going off about all the work he has to schedule and I should have had this done in July and he said he didn't feel like doing business with me nor my husband just because we didn't call him sooner.I told him my mother in law had a stroke the last couple of weeks and he said "too bad, my sister died....big deal. Really?He was a real jerk and he is going to lose a lot of business. We plan to file a complaint with Angie's list and also the BBB and possibly Channel 5 due to the nastyness of this old man. He just kept bragging how he worked the business for years and has 6 guys working for him. He also told me to stop stalking when I asked him what the problem was.Still in shock, I handed the phone to my husband and he treated my husband the same way. He won't be in business long. Don't do business with them or you will be really sorry. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. The interesting part of all of this is about an hour off the phone with Ed Vanderhoff, we had a drywall contractor knock on our door and heard we were looking for someone qualified. He was sent over from some friends of ours.We felt blessed.....by having a drywall person who could start the job next Monday. And also felt blessed that we never have to do business with Ed Vanderhoff again nor do any of our friends, co-workers or family.Someone please have a chat with this rude Ed Vanderhoff. He shouldn't even be able to answer the phone. Terrible, terrible customer service and bad manners.........

Nate: I was pleased with the drywall hanging and finishing Zimmer Drywall did on my house. It was a new build. They did a quality job, were responsive to calls and questions, and did the job in the time allotted. I must admit i was a bit apprehensive after seeing some of the google reviews. However my experience was very positive and I am happy i went with them.

Tim Johnson: That was the poor communication. Delivery was never confirmed and the drywall sat there for two weeks. Like I said, choose another drywaller.

Paul gave me a detailed written estimate on the spot. It was lower than the other guys were guessing they would charge. (One came in lower but it was too late.) We discused time frames and struck a deal. I, allong with the other craftsmen working on the project, were impressed with the quality of his work. He finished on time and even came back to do additional work. I'm very happy with Paul and crew and would deffinately recomend him to others.
