Brett Cline: If I could give -5 stars I would. Very poorly run. The canoe landing is nice, didn’t see the campground, the golfing was pretty raunchy. It’s pretty run down. The staff is extremely rude, very territorial, almost threatening and really content to be that way. It’s laughable they are still in business. The lady that checked us in was either drunk or on drugs and actually crashed a golf cart into a fence shortly after checking our group in. (We have pictures and video). I wouldn’t spend any money at this place. Definitely not a place for children. With a little bit of effort and a lot less attitude it could be better, but not with the current management. There are Lots of better options in west Michigan. Don’t waste your family time or money here.

Lisa Rainwater: We stayed here about a month or so ago. We loved it. It’s beautiful and the workers are so nice. This time we are heading back with our older teens so they can kayak, fish and ride horses. They were very responsive returning my call. We’ll be heading here more next year as well.

FiTFaM: This is our go-to for trail rides. It’s an hour long guided trail ride through the woods, very peaceful and relaxing. The last time we went, they didn’t go across the river which was a highlight of the ride, but nonetheless, it was still nice. They trot in some areas of the trail which is cool. Be ware with the group you are with too, again, the last one we went on had an older pair of ladies that pretty much ruined our trot part of the ride, twice. Poor old ladies couldn’t handle it and screamed for the guide to stop. No complaints other than that and we hope they clear the trees that are blocking the river crossing!

Amanda Hardy: We go here at least once a year for tubing trip because we absolutely love this spot. First come first served so they don't take reservations for tubing but have never had an issue getting in (typically just before or after 4th of July). The staff are friendly, the process easy and straightforward. Yep takes 2-2.5 hours depending on if you stop at all, the river is fairly shallow so it's warmer than many other trips. Short enough trip to be able to do other things in the day but long enough to get you cooled off and get a taste for the river. Would go on a longer trip if there was one, really great experience all around. Very convenient to float right to where you can get out right by your car so no need to wait on pick up times. Always recommend to friends and look forward to going back again.
