Angeline Lewis: I was a regular at sugar waxing but it’s expensive and PAINFUL! Milan took me in like a friend and has been incredible. Jen, Collette, Dana, Ellie, and all the ladies are friendly, reassuring, and great at what they do. The treatments are what I would call “spicy” but a walk in the park if you’ve ever experienced waxing or even getting a tattoo. It’s done in 5 minutes and I walk out with a complimentary water bottle ready for the day. I HIGHLY recommend and have been raving about it to all my friends! Shelly Quatrine: I called last week to ask questions about the service since the price is much higher than others in town. The person who answered was not helpful or friendly. In a very curt manner, she just said she had been doing this for over 30 years, that I should do research online and hung up on me. I expected to hear what type of electrolysis she uses and how she would decide what I would need during a consultation. This place might be the best in town... or maybe not, but I'll never know because I won't be going based on an extremely rude phone interaction.

Very little pain and quick ...15 minutes.At Advanced Wellness Spa I was disappointed that once I got home there was still noticeable hair in several areas. It was painful enough to make my eyes water and lasted over 45 minutes. She applied the sugar and pulled it off several times in the same area of my face.I gave her a 2 rating because she was nice.

It always terrified me because I thought it would be too painful....A couple weeks ago I was feeling brave and went in to see Jessica a sugarist here. She was great. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would...it was a bit unpleasant and she was super patient with me while I had to regain my composure a couple times. I am so pleased with the results and can't wait until my next appointment later this month :)
Karolyn Coulouris: Sphinx is a beautiful salon with friendly staff. I was a first time client last week for my very first Brazilian wax. Overall, it was a good experience but I would have liked to be kept informed throughout the wax. I would have liked to know what was coming up next, which places were the toughest etc. It also wasn't until the following few days that I noticed small patches of hair that got missed. I am glad to have had this experience, but the end result was not worth the price.
