David Fitzpatrick: Extremely disappointing experience with this company. We are an official Ford dealer that purchased an engine from them based on their supposedly great reputation. The engine was defective, Accurate authorized us to tear it down and then eventually send it back. Months later they still haven't refunded the core charge (which was on their credit memo to us) and the labor cost (which they authorized). This is no way to run a business. If a Ford dealer has this level of difficulty with a supplier, I imagine it would be much more difficult for a consumer.

Brian Horn: Bought one of their dodge 4.7 c8 engines with 100 mile garauntee & had hithi5vlt problems with engine & company from get go 1rt off l purcharnd engine directly from Ron (so alerman) to be shipped to mechanic. Engine & paper work was then placed in mechanics name, not mine English ticket from day one was told by Frank (warranty) that engine didn't come with 100 mile garauntee as advertised & sold as & wouldn't dohor it if it ticket or Kate adu noise which is did from day one if installation. Engine how loud knocking & chirping _ can't drive with less than 19900 miles & tried calling Aih 3 times with first 2 calls replied by wanting me to reply everything in text, when l texted to him that it was too much to text & that l needed to speak to him, he never bothered to call back. How he won't even answer his phone or even repl. Will be seeking legal action with this company & to not recommend anybody doing business with them because they'll only like & give you the run aroundafter taking your money & refuse to stand behind their product as advertised after once receiving your money

Kip Darst: Installed a Accurate engine in September and from initial start the engine blew blue smoked out. I now have 7000 miles on the engine and still Blue smoke. Took it to a shop to have it inspected under warranty and a lot of the internal parts have never been replaced and seals have never been replaced. Pistons were all pitted up and cylinders were pitted up. Stay away from these engines they are junk junk

mini shed mechanic: Terrible service, wrong parts.. and a lots of excuses. Would try really hard to go elsewhere if you want good service and correct parts.

I want my motor back.I sent it back at your request complete with everything on the long block for over a year and no one ever answers your phone. I haven’t even gotten an update.The only time I get ahold of someone is when I call sales, then I’m told they will call me back” by the same guy that answers the warranty dept.I’ve been dealing with this for over a year and my patience is running out. I want my money back along with my complete motor

Parts Department: They sent us the incorrect engine , after waiting for 2 months for the engine to arrive, we had to modify numerous things on the engine to make it work , and then once we sent the core back to receive our $1200.00 core deposit back, there is NOBODY that will credit us , or even answer the phone, It's easy to get ahold of sales, but after that, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, They are a total scam, and they will NEVER return your core deposit.

Hi-Tech Auto Specialists: The worst service a company can give and should be embarrassed by such unprofessionalism. Ordered a 3.6L engine for a 2016 Grand Cherokee by Vin# on 9/17/2022. Waited 3 weeks only to receive a wrong engine. Empty promises by Product Manager Laney to remedy their error with another engine did not happen. By request, I was asked to ship the original engine back for rebuild. This was done on 10/24 and Laney could not deliver an engine. This company will not return messages so I had to dispute my credit card payment and will now have to file complaints for the return of my core valued at $600. I was told my core would ship back to me on or around 12/10 and not received as of 12/28. Be careful doing business with this company which is not even worth a single star.

Danny Rudisill: BUYERS BEWARE!!!! We purchased two motors from this company in 01/2022. One of the engines we received from them had issues resulting in us returning it back to them in 08/2022. 1) Water is getting into the engine oil which we had spoken to Frank about prior to us sending the engine back. 2) The starter pad where the starter bolts up to the block, we believe the bolt holes are misdrilled because we have tried 6 different starters, and shimmed the starter, up down, left and right, and still cannot get the engine to run without the starter drive tapping the flywheel. We also changed the flywheel to ensure the correct fit and still had the same issue. On 10/3/2022 they FINALLY confirmed that they received the engine on 08/30/2022. WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO THEM SINCE!! Calls, text and emails go unanswered and not returned when you leave a voice mail. We don't even want or need the engine back and would like a refund instead. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences we have ever dealt with. Our next step will be to file suit if we do not get a full refund for the returned motor.

Jim Ries: After I paid for my engine. Tried to contact Accurate to find out status no response. After the engine made it to me I installed run good thanks, because if something was wrong I sure would not want to try and get any kind of warranty. There is no way to communicate with anyone. All mailboxes are full. Still have not received my core refund or any response for anyone on this. And it has been 35 days past the delivery of core engine to them.

Dave Akers: Only giving four stars because of Lanny. Salesman Ron was lightning fast to answer questions before I purchased but communication became a challenge after the buy. I was under impression turnaround would be approximately 3 weeks . This became ten weeks later. I understand the supply chain issue and was ok with that but would like to have known upfront. Getting updates on build or shipment was a challenge as I could never get someone but only leave messages. Lanny called me with final update and apologized for the wait and explained the situation. Motor is installed and running smooth and that makes me happy. However it’s been a month and a half now and still no word on my core return fee. I suppose I will have to chase this down as well…. All summed up quality is great , service performed is great , communication needs some TLC . Hire some more office staff if production is that in demand or assign more hats to someone to cover the communication.

Christi Williams: I bought a rebuilt engine from Kyle at Engine Guru, who promised a return of $300 for the core of my old engine, which I promptly returned to him. After months of trying to get him to then refund the $300, I was still never able to get him to respond at all to calls, emails or the paypal return requests. Then, after only putting about 3200 on this rebuilt engine I bought from him, it died!!Kyle at Engine Guru will not answer calls or call back after multiple attempts to contact him. In fact, I suspect that he may have even blocked my number because I his voicemail doesn't even give me the option to leave voice mails anymore asking him to call me back. Either Kyle is a complete incompetent or complete scammer—or both!!!!

Kevin Anderson: We initially brought our new-to-us E-350 with the 6.0 Powerstroke to Drury Diesel based on their stellar reviews. Poor communication and timeliness aside, they diagnosed a bad turbo and quoted us $3,789.59 to replace (13.5 hours of labor at $150 per hour, and a near 100% markup on the turbo). No way.A tractor mechanic advised me to contact Diesel Injection Services before I attempted the job myself, and am I glad he did! Less than an hour after e-mailing them I had a new quote: $1,150 for the same turbo, $450 for labor. But after describing the van’s issues, the service rep (Nate) said it didn’t sound like a bad turbo. They diligently worked at it fixing a lot of little issues (replacing the fuel filter, air filter, air flow sensor, ICP sensor, and giving it an oil change just in case the previous owner had used synthetic oil) until it was running great! Not only did they have fair pricing on the turbo replacement, they saved me a LOT of money on a major misdiagnosis, did a fantastic job, and kept me informed throughout the whole process! I can’t recommend these guys enough!

Kyle Kleinjans: Sent 8 injectors to be cleaned and tested. Was told they were all over the place and they all needed to be replaced. When asked which one were good they said they didnt know the specifications so they all should be replaced. Two of them had been replaced within 6 months. We bought an injector cleaner and ran these through cleaning and testing. Before cleaning only 3 were way out of line. Once cleaned there was only two that needed to be replaced. Was charge $200 to be lied to and told we tried. Do not recommend getting injectors cleaned here.

Max Imhoff: I had a sbf that I needed machine work done to it and they told me they would be able to get to it In 4-5 weeks. So I dropped it off on January 18th, and I didn't hear back from them untill March 23, and they said they were about to start working on it, and wanted to know about my build, which i appreciated, and I understand things happen and people get busy so I was still a happy camper at this point. Then April comes along so I called them to see if they ran into any issues and such, and I was told they were working on it so it would probably be a couple weeks tops. OK cool I don't know why it would take a couple weeks to do machine work but I'm still understanding at this point. Now it's may, and still no word from them so I call them may 18th and they say everything is done except the Crank, and they say it will be done in a couple days. May 23rd I call them again, and now they tell me their balancing machine needs a part, and it'll be in the next day. And finally may 27th, they finished it and I was able to pick up my sbf block and Crank.Overall disappointing experience, they did a decent job with the work they did, but now my race season is trashed. Really wishing I would have gone to ctech again, only reason I gave performance engineering a shot was they said they could get it done sooner.FYI ctech has way better communication, and when they say they are working on it, they are done within a week as far as machine work goes, plus ctech has a higher resolution finish on the machined surfaces they do.
