The trainers have great relationships with their riders and go above and beyond to develop the riders skills on and off the horse. Both of our children have flourished here, not only in their riding skills, but also understanding the relationship you build with the horse. Respect, responsibility and kindness are high priority for all of the staff and riders. There are not enough words to express how grateful we are to be a part of the Meadowview Family!
Karie Eefsting: If you like Polo or are in need of riding and jumping lessons. This is a beautiful facility. Out in the country. Tucked in between Ada and Lowell. Nice place to vist for a horse show too. And pop on over to Ada for dinner and or a 🍺 and some shopping. Just nicely located.
Merrill Markiewicz: Meadowview Farm has proven time and time again that this is the premier facility in the Grand Rapids metro area in which to learn to ride english (hunter/jumpers) or play polo. The trainers, facilities, other riders and horses make learning to ride really fun. If you're a more advanced rider, training and making it to the national horse shows is a possibility. On top of it all, they take great care their and the boarders' horses.

Serenity Farm LLC: what do users think?
toxic bro: Love this place
Kena Troupe: Everything was going very well the first two months, after a while I really got to see my instructors true colors and so did my parents so we stopped taking lessons there. The staff other than Janine, is very sweet and fun but in my opinion Janine is rlly moody and she tries to argue with me all the time when I share an opinion about how I feel. She always thinks she is right!!! She once told me to dress conservatively but she wear spandex shorts to give lessons to little kids. SHE ALWAYS ON HER PHONE!!! We payed her 40 dollars a lesson and she still had the nerve to have attitude with us. DO NOT GO HERE FOR LESSONS, she starts so much drama and DOES talk behind your back
Julia Hamming: My daughter started taking lessons at a later age (16) and has thrived under the instruction she receives. The staff is very helpful with beginners learning all the ins and outs of tacking and caring for the horses. Other parents and older students are very helpful to me as a parent who has a lot to learn as well.I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place to feel like part of the family from the first moment you arrive on the property.
Bruce Almighty: Top Notch, Janine is fabulous and takes great care in every way.
Megan Elgersma: Just started lessons with Janine & very pleased , she's a very good trainer shes patient with beginners ! very well mannered horses to take lessons on. Barn is very well kept. Has a nice indoor arena. Janine is very encouraging. Love taking lessons with her !
Kathryn McCreary: Wonderful barn. Welcoming staff. Well trained horses. Jeanine is a wonderful trainer.
Dream And Dream Marketing: I am extremely satisfied with the riding lessons! My daughter's lessons are a joy. There's an indoor arena for those times the Michigan weather is cold or damp. My daughter loves being at her lessons and the staff is warm, welcoming, and friendly. My daughter actually learns real riding, not just play. I recommend Serenity Farm to anyone needing their services.
Thomas Nawrocki: Great instruction.
Lori Plakos: Serenity Farm is what the name implies, SERENITY. My dreams came true when God brought me to this farm, to work with, and be part of this wonderful family! It's a tranquil environment with maintained grounds, spacious pastures and a very large grassy area for leisure grazing. Our horses are fed both first and second cutting hay five times per day and Buckeye complete feed twice a day with free choice water 24/7. Horses are turned out daily except in severe weather conditions which are monitored very closely. With the owner living on the premises, a late night check is done where horses are given more hay and their water topped up. This added perk is something management feels very strongly about for the prevention of ulcers and other gastric issues horses are prone to if they are not kept grazing. The owner is a very intelligent, friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable horse-woman. Her instruction in dressage, jumping and basic horsemanship is impeccable and she goes to great lengths to make sure her farm is a "happy place", which is exactly what Serenity farm is for me!
Cindy Bartman: I have been a Serenity boarder for almost two years. This is my forever barn. I have made many close friends here and my horses get the best of care. This endless harassment of our barn is ridiculous and says volumes more about the character flaws of the person on this crazy vendetta than anything else. The owners children are sweet and well behaved and a part of our wonderful family. While I rode today the little one was out sledding down the little hill outside the barn. Perfect Sunday afternoon. If you are looking for a home for you and your horse come out and meet us and judge for yourself. Who in the world would pick a barn for their horse based on an internet google review anyway. Just to be clear...my warmblood is fed great grain twice a day and then gets almost a bale of hay a day at NO EXTRA CHARGE. I have no idea how the owner does that for the board that I pay. It is awesome! Don't be misled by craziness!!
Kathryn juh: Serenity Farm has been my home away from home for the past 5 years. My horse is a happy healthy senior and gets lots of extra special attention from owner, staff and fellow boarders. I have become a far more confident and accomplished horsewoman through lessons, clinics and the wonderful comradeship that is present at Serenity.
Chris Potter: Serenity has been my home away from home for my horse and I for over five years. There are so many occasions that my horse's well being and my horsemanship education has been enhanced by the owner and caring staff. Being a part of the Serenity community has been a truly wonderful experience
Serenity Farm LLC: Horses are given TOP care at this farm and my horse has never been happier and healthier! The comradeship and ethics of the barn and all who run it are superb!!! Keep up the good work Serenity!!!!

Legacy Stables and Karin’s Horse Connection: what do users think?
Ron DeYoung: Had a great place for horses and horseshoes at the doom
Amanda R: I took my daughter for a trail ride for her birthday. The instructor was wonderful! She was patient, helpful, and made the time so special and fun. So much more than just riding a horse - you also brush the horse, learn basic commands, walk with your horse, and give them a treat! Highly recommend!
Aubree Anderson: My daughter had her 4th birthday here yesterday. She LOVED it.We had about 8 kids and 2 horses. I definitely recommend doing 2. They had the older kids at the party doing tricks on the bigger pony. The two people leading the party were great with the kids! The heated space upstairs is small, but a good place to warm up. I’m not sure how we would’ve handle more people there. We had a lot of adults there though…aunts/uncles/ grandma & everyone’s parents. So about 16 adults. We will definitely be back to do kinderpony lessons!
Jakara Love: Had my daughters 2nd birthday there and she absolutely loved it !
Kimberly Lodewyk: We love this place. Very friendly people. My mom has dementia and we will be bringing her there for the amazing gracet o pet the horses and spend some time outdoors.
cheryl Klocke: Absolutely loved this activity! This was a great opportunity for our 5 year old grand child to get exposed to horses and to experience this for the first time. We definitely will be pursuing other events offered by legacy to entertain her interests and love for horses and in riding them. Thank you for a great experience.
Ksenia Derouin: We had a great time!
Adam Kadzban: Awesome experience for my niece. Everyone was extremely friendly and engaging and we got to see so many horses and ponies!
katelyn gettel: My sister and I did a drop in lesson today on a whim. We had Claudia as our instructor. It was so much fun. The atmosphere there is great.
Jennifer Kline: We had my daughter’s birthday party there, and it was amazing! The kids all loved it! Everyone we came in contact with were so kind. We will be back for sure.
Megan Rizzo: Our daughter had a wonderful birthday party experience! At 3, we thought she might be worried, and most of her friends were. But the staff was so good and all the kids participated and loved it. They kept us busy for nearly 2 hours, so we didn't really need all the entertainment we brought. Worth every penny, thank you Legacy Stables! We will be back!
Rachel Mullins: Gateway to Horses was perfect! Sad the class ended, but we'll be back for more!
Andrew Shier: Amazing barn with amazing staff :)
Camryn Curtis: It is such a sad place and horrible for the horses I wish you would give them more food… VERY skinny.
Kinsey Staver: Great experience! Had a 7 year-old with me and I was nervous about how that might go given her age and size, but they put her on an appropriately sized horse and she was accompanied by a guide for the entire duration of the experience, so she was very safe and well taken care of. The two of us had a great time and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!
Marie N: Staff was 100% attentive, made children feel at ease. Helmets were sanitized and carefully chosen. The ponies were sweet, saddles good for small children. The ride was inside and out on the trail. It ended with a short gallop. Kids and family were happy!
Boldt Preserve: Handled our rowdy group of 23 with patience. Our Girl Scout Troop had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Thanks!
Annie lynn-le: I went here with my son. We had so much fun. We did the one hr ride. He had Diamond, & I had Daisy. Both beautiful horses and well trained. Since we hadn't riden in quite awhile our guide helped us emensly. Her name was Claudia. She was super friendly, well versed into the horses and just very kind. Taking her time to ensure we felt safe with our horses. The place is very well kept and beautiful. You can tell these people take care of their place, their customers and the horses. We will be returning again for another ride soon for sure. Was an absolute great experience. If your looking to ride I'd give this place a definite try!! Thank you for helping us and letting me & my son share and enjoy your beautiful horses . I'm beyond thankful and appreciate your hospitality. Dillin and I will definitely be back again. Memories made for a lifetime here. Happy customer. Ty
fatumata kanuteh: My son had the best time ever today on his pony ride. Paige was AMAZING and so patient with my 4 year old. She answered all his questions and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. Will definitely be back !
Melody Hoffer: Had a wonderful time! The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The horses were sweet amd easy going. We loved being able to spend time getting to know our horses before riding the trails. We learned a lot and will definitely come back soon!
Shay Rae: My son and his father went for the horseback riding. My sons first time on a horse, he loved it! His horse wasn’t cooperating so he couldn’t steer it on his own but he understood. Giving them their carrot treat at the end was the icing on the cake !!

Willow Ridge (formerly Benchmark Dressage): what do users think?
jennifer vida: Kimberly has a depth of knowledge not commonly found in a dressage instructor. Her thorough understanding of the biomechanics of both the horse and rider gives her the ability to guide the rider to a better experience in developing skills. She has an immense vocabulary of analogies to assist in describing the rider's position and can relate to all age levels and abilities of riders.
Sue Kane: I have known Kimberly for years and always admired her professionalism and her knowledge of not only riding, but also as an educator on true horsemanship. So when my young Thoroughbred started down a path of challenging behavior, I called Kimberly and she was came out to see for herself what was going on. She was only able to work with him on the ground for a short period of time, but both he and I learned so much about mindset, respect, and providing very black and white ground rules. There was a huge change in just 3 sessions and I am happy to say that continuing down this path has made my boy a very different horse, both on the ground and under saddle. Thank you Kimberly!
Jodi King: My daughter loves horses and was going through a hard time when we found Willow Ridge! My daughter smiles from ear to ear on the days she gets to go see Mrs Kimberly and Banjo! From day 1 We felt so comfortable w our daughter coming here. Safety is very important here and eased this mamas heart (I love animals but had never been around horses) We chose Willow Ridge because we wanted to instill hard work and attention to detail into our daughters life and this definitely helps with this! There is nothing like seeing your kid work hard while smiling! Mikayla loves Mrs Kim and Banjo and just being in a fun atmosphere that is also safe! This place has done so much for our sweet girl I strongly recommend for so many different reasons!
Bob-Kristin Kill: We cannot say enough good about Willow Ridge and Kimberley Dunlap. Professional, knowledgeable, with a talent for for teaching biomechanics. I had searched around for just the right kind of coach to help me achieve a lifetime riding goal and we are well in our way. I love that Kimberley rides and competes on a regular basis as well as coaching. This is truly one of the best facilities to train in as well as the most professional I have seen.
Cindy Katona: Love this place! Super experienced and wonderful trainers and atmosphere!
Riley Walworth: I started riding with Kimberly about a year and a half ago, when I wanted to build my dressage foundation to improve my jumping and potentially pursue eventing. I can honestly say that I've learned more in the past year and a half than I have in my entire 14 years of riding. The level of knowledge that Kimberly has is downright amazing, and I greatly appreciate her desire to continue learning and sharing new information with her students at every opportunity. I've fallen in love with dressage in a way that I never dreamed that I would, and my riding is so far beyond what I thought I was capable of, all thanks to Kim.Kimberly and Kristen run the best barn I have ever had the privilege of being a part of- I am highly impressed in their exceptional quality of care and in the overwhelmingly supportive and welcoming barn community that they've built. They are both incredibly kind and generous, and I am so, so grateful to have the privilege of knowing them.
Sarah Brockett: Willow Ridge is my happy place!I feel so fortunate to have found my “barn home” here. In the 4 years I’ve been at Willow Ridge, I have learned so much. Both Kimberley and Kristen are amazing instructors and trainers, who will work with you and your horse (or a school horse) to reach your goals in a pragmatic and kind way. They approach training in a holistic way, focusing on creating healthy and happy horses first and foremost. The environment at Willow Ridge is very welcoming. The boarders and riders are wonderful people. Everyone is kind and supportive of each other. There are opportunities to show together as a team, but also no judgement/pressure to do so if that’s not your thing.Kimberly and Kristen can meet you wherever you are at—if you’re a brand new rider, or if you and your horse need some guidance to get to the next level. I could not recommend them enough!
Leah Will: Kimberly was recommended to me by a client of mine, as I was looking to pick up regular riding again with my senior horse. It was the best decision I could of made. I have been riding weekly at Willow Ridge for almost a year now. Kimberly is very knowledgeable, not only in the biomechanics of horse and rider, but also in helping a rider to understand how to work through trouble spots or plateaus in their riding. She has gone above and beyond to help me become a better rider for myself and my senior boy. I have learned so much over the last year and had to relearn some things that I had been taught incorrectly in the beginning of my journey as rider. I highly recommend Kimberly and Willow Ridge.
Cathy Fenton: Very well run facility with very knowledgeable welcoming instruction. I came for a onetime clinic and ended up signing up for regular lessons. Educational and fun in a nonjudgmental drama free community. I immediately felt like I fit here and could progress even with nontraditional dressage horsesnand my nontraditional varied horse background.
Richelle Smith: Willing to work with all breeds and all levels of riders, beautiful facility, they love mentoring younger riders.
Shawna Krutel: I came to Kimberly and Kristen as an experienced rider who had taken some time off and was having some fear issues starting my big young horse back under saddle. Their combined depth of knowledge, passion and willingness to be open and honest with me opened my eyes to areas I needed to get more focused and tighten up on my basic horsemanship skills I was taking for granted after 30 years of horse experience. I am deeply indebted to them for our continued growth and renewed confidence.
Tereasa Yonker: If you would like your child's heart to be broken Sign up for Willow ridge aquastrian center with Kimberly! It's a sure guarantee!
Thomas Manning: Wonderful people!! Great place to ride and learn!!
Heather Stille: Beautiful, well maintained facility! Kimberly - the owner and trainer - is welcoming and accommodating to the adult student working towards goals in riding. She believes and preaches that any horse (or person) can excel in the beautiful discipline of dressage. Expensive warmbloods from Europe are welcomed but equally loved and appreciated are also the not so extravagant lesson horse worth their weight in gold.I have found her teaching styles differ depending on how her student learns, visual or technical ect. Kimberly and this facility are a true asset to the dressage community.
Josephine Shelton: Benchmark Dressage is a great place to go if you want to learn good horsemanship and specific skills that better you as a horseman (or woman) :) I haul in from all the way in Reed City and it is well worth the drive. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the horses’ care is top priority. I truly have learned many valuable skills.
Rita Stegeman: Friendly people
Kelley Oliver: I want to thank you for hosting a very well-run dressage show on Saturday. It was my first time riding in a show, but I have attended many shows over the years and yours tops my list of best venues. Since I was new to actually riding in a show, I wasn't sure about many things; where to unload, warm-up, etc. I must have appeared to be unsure because every time I was trying to figure something out, someone magically appeared and asked if I needed help. Everyone had a smile and all were very helpful and genuinely friendly. From receiving ride times via email (on TUESDAY...way early!) to being greeted as we pulled in, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first show, or any show for that matter. The beautiful, clean facility was a bonus. I assume you controlled the weather too 🙂 Thank you for hosting a wonderful show. Good job!!! Kelley
Monica Kaiser: I love Benchmark! I'm an adult student who began riding at Benchmark about 4 years ago. Kimberly and Kristen are excellent instructors and there is an atmosphere of support and friendship among all students, regardless of age or ability.
Karen Chrisman: Benchmark Dressage is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where professional leadership, attention to detail, quality education and expert instruction are happening now! Come join us.
Erica Jacobson: Beautiful facility! I love the trainers and everyone is very sweet!
Karie Eefsting: After a long duration of no training in Dressage. We are finally on our way back to competing, with the help and guidence of Kimberly Bench. The facility is clean and well managed, with helpfull and friendly people. Glad I called Kim,for training. K.E.
