Rakowski Family Farm Market: what do users think?
Alice Garrard: Love it..
Hannah Taplin: I will always opt to support local farmers over big box grocery. The food lasts longer, is higher quality, and is better for you. Meat, eggs, produce, and some grocery staples. It's everything you need. Support local!
Jessica Gaffney: Best eggs, meat and dairy in town
Sam Raj D: Though it is a small shop we got what we want.
Just Me: I've shopped at this market a few times now and I am satisfied with the food and customer service. Millie is awesome and such a nice person. Great conversations, great food, and her son is so cute. He was eager to give me 2 potatoes. I'll definitely be back, especially since I've bought food from the Rakowski family from Fulton Street Farmers Market in the past. Come down and buy some local food, you won't regret it.
Emily Moore: Such a great store to have in the city!
Maya C: Perfect place to grab quick local groceries! I only wish they carried coffee!
Brandon Armstrong: Best sweet corn in Michigan!
Mike Ewer: Excellent local meats, dairy and produce, and some other local foods too.
Joshua Odekirk: We love having this place in our neighborhood. We always pick up fresh eggs here, and having farm fresh produce year round has been a blessing. Millie is usually the person who helps us out and she is such a gem! Always so nice and friendly ❤️
Sara Gokee: Excellent customer service! Wide selection of grass fed, organic, and local meats! Michigan made speciality items and seasonal vegetables. Happy to support my community farmers.
Hunter Fountain: Great store with great prices.
nancy ritcheske: Convenient... helpful people
Courtney Mora: I go here almost exclusively for chicken for the husband. They are great birds and a good price for a local chicken. The staff are great as well.Get a dozen eggs while you're here. Ask about the double jumbos!
Tod More: Gem of a farmers market in Middle of city.
Geniene Hourigan-Culp: I love this market! The staff and selection can't be beat! Being able to shop small and support local means so much to me and this market has become my go to for pretty much everything. You won't be disappointed!
Becca Ellis: Awesome local grocery I've been visiting for the past 2 years now. Great prices for farm fresh local products. It's like going to the farmers market but inside and open way more often! The workers are always very friendly and make a connection to remember you and help you find whatever you need. Love Rakowski's!
Kylie C: Love this place, and the owner is very kind :3
Nicole Strobel: I always buy my eggs from this farm, they are a little more expensive than the ones in large grocery stores but worth the price! they also have a stand at the Fulton street farmers market on Saturday and they have a great selection of produce for a great price. Also I love to pop in if I am out taking a walk and grab a $1 cup of delicious Hot Apple Cider!
Misha shteynvil: Great seasonal produce, the bacon is the best I've ever had, really really nice staff. So happy to live so close :)
Ivonne Valle: A new place for me. The lady was very nice, she even engaged in a conversation. I will recomended this store for sure.

Grand Rapids Downtown Market: what do users think?
Tony Morales: The place is cool. Lots of great shops. Eat at Fishlads.
Wandering Soul Collective: Alt City is where it’s at, babyyyyyy! Do yourself a favor and try any of their absolutely delicious concoctions! Field and fire has great bread, and the Mexican joint has amazing vegan options.
Ryan McGinn: So many options. Slow's BBQ, Carver's, Wiki Wiki Poke, Cafe de Miro, Rak Thai, etc. It's the perfect place for bringing a diverse group of people for a meal. There's something for everyone.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Yarlene Brooks: Lots of different options! Clean environment, and lots of room to eat. Also, very friendly people. Try a mochi donut!
Brad Sciullo: This is the only place you should eat if you are in grand rapids for a short period of time (or live there really)That may sound strange but dont bother with most places out of of the downtown market. Its surprising to say the least how great it is. Youll see. you will do fine wherever but try Gabbys Gourmandise as soon as you walk in from the lot then go from there. I can rattle off plenty more but youll be fine no matter what you choos

Marilyn M. G.: We love the downtown market. Ate at Rak Thai today. Ordered the Pad See Yu (pad see ew)... best I've had in Michigan. Fresh and flavorful. The Crab Cheese was not very good...filling was bland and they weren't cooked enough. Food came out relatively fast. The cashier was unfriendly. We will be back though, for some Pad See Yu!Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Steve Kleinheksel: This place is amazing! By far the best food court I've ever been in. Everything is local and natural. You can grab sushi and for dessert a maple bacon donut next door. Jana hsu: Security needs to do something about the people who hang out in this parking lot asking everyone who is driving in and parking for money and other favors. I am a single mother with very young children and I was asked and harassed and cursed at by one of these individuals and 3 others asked me for money and help. This is a job for the city and not for patrons who park here.
Natalie Tan: Huge fancy cafeteria style market for food. Could get lost for an hour walking around. Seating options are nicer one floor up. Wish the rooftop garden was open on a sunny spring March day!Recommended dishes Fresh Seafood, Sushi Market, Key Lime Pie …More

Speyer's Farm Market: what do users think?
blacktowerjake: I've been going here for almost 25 years. The selection of flowers is great every year. I go there every May for my house flowers. I go there in the Summer for the produce in the store (Yeah, home grown tomatoes). The staff is always helpful with my choices and questions.
Harmony Ruiz: Amazing local family owned greenhouse. Best plants you can find anywhere near grand rapids! They take such amazing care of their beautiful plants you almost never find any dead or near dying plants they are always spectacular. Definitely come out this way if you haven't yet
Kyla Joy: I love this 100+ year centennial farm! The people who work here are excellent at helping me find just the right perennial for the space I have in mind. They are very knowledgeable and love their jobs and it comes across! The fresh produce, preserves and local honey are a wonderful treat! Fall is beautiful here with values on small mums & pumpkins.TIP— they have darling, friendly, cozy greenhouse cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛😍 but be advised, if you have strong allergies
Norbert Dill: great corn now I'm waiting for the Brussels sprout
Val Okhuysen: Family owned farm market. The very best. Been going there for years😍
Stefanie Craig: Amazing fresh produce that tastes 10x better than the grocery store! In this picture everything was only $23.
Kyle Huff: Fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Jan Goss: I love Speyer's! Love their flowers, love their produce and love the people! Great neighborhood market!
Melody Hoffer: Great selection of home grown fruits and veggies... seeing and petting kitties was a bonus 😻
Renee Peters: The greenhouse with flowers has a huge variety! The little store was open last week when we went in and their produce is amazing! And we could love on the 3 cats napping around!
Tristen rector: Local Fresh produce. Apple butter, jams, gardening, herbs and veggies all grown across the street!? Yes please! Friendly ladies working in there too! I will definitely be coming back. 😌
Genie Dalman: Love this place, especially their home grown tomatoes!!
chris luse: Got 4 bags of manure for my garden upon opening.the frist 2 their full of nothinf but weeds and roots and some dirt the green 9n the spread out pile is what i sifted out of thay bag...
Alicia Sommers: I love this place. Most amazingly kind staff. Amazing selection.
Debra C: Always quality flowers & plants to take & grow plus produce in the Summer & Fall season!
Stephanie Fongers: For about the past 5 years, I have only come to Speyer's for all my flowers, fruits, veggies and also soil. Their product always has great quality and lasts all summer and into fall. Plus, they almost always have what I need and IF they don't, just ask and they will tell you when more will be ready. Their employees are constantly restocking so sometimes all you have to do is ask. Even today when I went, one of the employees was stocking shelves and I noticed something on her cart that was beautiful and asked where I could find them. She told me that I could just take them off her cart because there weren't any of that particular color out on the shelf yet. They always have a very kind and helpful staff! All my fruits and vegetables grow VERY well in organic soil and I've always been impressed with the continuous abundance of what their plants produce. Forget the large corporate greenhouses like Countryside and go to Speyer's instead! Well worth it. Here's last year's picture of our overabundant zucchini (we kept having to give it away because we couldn't eat it all ourselves) and our giant sunflowers that are beautiful when they shoot over the top of the fence (we had one that was 10'6")!!
Terri Mix: Only place I shop for flowers etc. Customer service is wonderful!!!
Steph Casemier: Wonderful
bonniegeen “Bonnie”: So many staff and all very helpful. They have a beautiful variety of veg, perennials and annuals. Lotsa grasses and climbers. Beautiful arrangements and reasonable prices. 5/6/22 update I had a cat sighting!! Bought Mom a wonderful arrangement and Harmony was so knowledgeable and helpful to me and others all at the same time! She was kind of holding a class on hanging baskets 💚
Mel N: Great place for veggies fruits and local foods
Jeannie Foster: Good bargains and I enjoyed the honey, customer service, was good.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Deidre Jourden: I started coming to this store before they did the renovations. FTM has always been my go-to store, the produce stays fresh for longer than other places, I love the hygiene and health section, and the best items to choose from plus the prices.I am eligible for EBT given I work part time & just had a baby. Today (05/08/23) was the 4th time I’ve went to check out and certain food items did not ring up as food items. The first 3 times I just shook it off and paid for an obvious mistake, it was only about $8.99 I owed. Today I owed $22 for two food items and 2 can drinks. I was in self check out & was told to go to lane 2.The cashier at lane 2, Rebekah, asked me if I wanted to pay the $22 or take them off. I reminded her that these are food items and should be covered. She said there’s nothing they can do, they can’t change it. I asked for a manager and she said “I’ll call one of them, but I don’t think there’s anything they can do.” I forgot the managers name but he was slim with dark hair. He fixed the problem and I was able to leave.Im very grateful he was able to help, but I felt extremely disrespected by the cashier. I have worked in customer service for 6 years and I have previous management positions at a grocery store and another retail store. I observed Rebekah did not want to deal with the situation.. she didn’t offer a solution and did not act appropriate in a situation where the customer may become upset. Given my previous jobs, I already knew this was a problem that could be solved. I am fed up with having to pay for the store’s mistake. If customers are allowed to make purchases using a Bridge Card, then all food items should ring up as food.I don’t know if I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, my young age, my visible tattoos, or simply because the cashier had a bad day, I will never know. I will not forget my experience here.I will miss this store. I’m not sure I will return soon, if at all. Thanks if you read this.
Rebecca Keenan: Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other stores but it’s worth it for the ease and experience of shopping there.
jim: never had a fresher thyroid
Patricia C “Trish” Volkhardt: After seeing the item I wanted, I drove down from Sparta to shop here. I was amazed by the cleanliness, the orderly layout of store, and the stock! I need up buying far more because the prices are amazing! I will be back weekly to shop here. The staff too, are great team!
Patricia C Volkhardt: A truly clean, well organized and well stocked market that's filled with good and caring staff...the prices are amazingly low..I went out of my way to go check it out, and I needed one item. I came out with more! I will drive the extra to go back weekly 😉
Two Hoots: Great looking produce and lots of different healthy options while looking through the aisles.
Michael O'Callaghan: Great place to shop. Helpful staff. Fresh, healthy food. Great produce at fair prices. Lovely!
jose paguada: great place G I bins getting lots of new work in this area Thanks 2 our community who supports us
Kelly D: Friendly staff. Was greeted by two different staff membersand thanked for shopping by another smiling face. I love this place.
Matt S: Good selection of stuff not at Meijer, when they have stock. They're really really bad at having things in stock. It's amateur hour at best and the logistics, operations, and purchasing managers or executives should all be ashamed of themselves and should probably be fired right now. You have a few things that I really want that Meijer doesn't have but everything else is significantly more expensive than Meijer 20 to 30% more expensive. When you don't have the things that I want that Meijer doesn't have there's literally no reason for me to drive further and pay way way way more money. You need to get the stocking situation in order or there's no reason for me to ever even stop in your store.
Monica: It is always clean. They keep their ahelves stocked , the employees are helpful and welcoming. I love their fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. The selection is wide range to fit many different palates. Their salmon is awesome and fresh and it’s my go to for alkaline water by the case. Plus they are open until 10pm which os convenient for late night shoppers like myself.
Theresa johnson: It's a nice place fresh vegetables everything in there is nice and fresh some frozen fish chicken bacon
Dominic C: Ever since their redesign, there are almost no people of color working here. Maybe one. Step it up. It’s 2023
Chuck Premer: Great place to shop, nice produce section, wonderful meat counter.
Bradley Bosscher: It used to be better. The inventory is still pretty good, but the service has taken a pitfall. Checking out is a hassle now.
Paul Townsend Lamb: Organic and fresh products help you save time and effort when shopping. Self checkout speeds the process along. Nice place to shop in the neighborhood.
Titeaunka latrice Hill: First experience I loved it very Well organized and clean and the food was great I picked up for myself for dinner love I'll definitely shop again
M B: There is always a calming autmosphere. They have great products at great and fair prices. The staff are very friendly... esspecially after a long day, they are so kind. I reccomend Fresh Thyme for those who do not enjoy other chain stores; whom live a health forward lifestyle. This is really a great place to shop. Clean, helpful, great store layout, not clausterphobic, stocked well. Really a great place to do your home essential shopping; big or small. They carry a lot of quality brands, local brands, vegan brands, you can bag your own seeds, nuts, or coffee beans, they sell fish like "Barramundi", and have a comprehensive homeopathic medicine section.Oh! And there is rarely ever a line to wait in. Maybe wait on one person on a busy night, they have plenty of checkout kiosks.
dadi vranji: I will never come to this store again because it is the most expensive and besides being the most expensive I have to scan and pack everything myself because the OWNER is stingy to pay the cashiers because he is too money hungry! In the future I will go to Meijer because it is the store that every consumer wants!!!
Karina Munoz: Love this store BUT the prices on the pics are outrageous and funny at the same time.
Barb W Brown: Great selections!

Ken's Fruit Market: what do users think?
Jennifer Dibble: I love shopping here.
George Banfill: Up until three weeks ago I would have given KENS 5 star rating the one time I have an issue I get no resolution I bought two ribeye steaks which cost me $34. When I got home and open the steaks I find a Band-Aid in the packaging. After stopping at the store twice leaving my business card and messages and calling twice on the phone I have is yet got no phone call from management. That first point I had receipt which I now can't find but don't appreciate the fact that the store manager can't even give me a courtesy call. I have shopped at the Plainfield store the old Clyde Park and 28th Street store and Eastern store. A little customer service will go a long way
V Coffland: We went in and tried to spend our Double up Food Bucks because it’s one of the only places we know of where you can use the double up cards and the produce is a reasonable price. The cashier, Aiden, misheard us and thought we wanted to earn. So we earned on our double up and had to spend our EBT balance, which we were saving for grocery stores that don’t use Double up. We were confused the entire time and rather than clarify or confirm with us what happened, we felt like a burden to our cashier who seemed like he really would have preferred we got out and left. We got the impression that he may have been annoyed with us because of our requests, definitely would not describe him as kind or accommodating. Two separate times we went back in and tried to have the situation made right or refunded and no one could help us. Wish I could rate zero stars. Sincerely, Really poor and really disappointed.
Glenn I: Store isn't very big, great prices, fresh meat.Large supply of various products not found anywhere else in the area.
Isaac Covarrubias: Love this place.
Chad Ewald: Ken's is our neighborhood grocery store and it has great potential, but the smell and cleanliness of the grocery store need to improved. It needs a refresh and maybe a little less bulk candy.
Robin Morton: I love ken's
Anna Huizenga: Love my neighbor market!
Rhonda Hendrix: Enjoy shopping there for fresh fruit.
Susan Rosely: I love this neighborhood store. Always a pleasant experience and feels like community.
Andy Carley: Good selection of produce and meats. Sometimes smells funny.
Chester Malon: Ken's is apart of our everyday life its in our neighborhood and they are smaller but they offer just as much as the bigger branches of grocery...Everyone is always helpful there and we love the fresh meat and good pricing they have to offer ...We will continue to support them !
Carole Sluce: Great strawberries, banana, pears, apples and watermelon.
Timothy Volkers: I grew up just up the road from the Alger Heights Eastern + Alger shopping district and still like to drop by and grab some groceries at Kens fruit market. The quality of meats and produce is top end and some of the best Chocolate milk in the City. The store also sells great Christmas trees and spring flowers. It's a great place I definitely recommend it.
Style Gray: Love the candy
Rosemary Curry: I Love This store been coming here for 25 years
Walter Sherburne (Eldurago): Good selection of fruits and vegetables. Great meat counter staff. Very helpful employees.
Neil Folson: My job
Christine Homminga: Good as always. Haven't really had a bad experience.
Marti Birdsall: I just shared my experience for Alger Heights.
Joe Taylor: They have amazing price's on meat and fruit and vegetables. The prices of cheese has gone up..it almost doubled. Everything else is still good.
