I got the boat back today and it looks like it is brand new. Color matching on the gelcoat is perfect and you can see your reflection in the finish. Marco G: An incredible experience with Bowker's. I pulled my boat on a Saturday, July 10th, to find four holes to the bottom of my boat. All area marina's were closed and a friend recommended contacting Bowker's. I sent an email on Saturday night with pictures and explanation of damage and received an email from Marty on Sunday morning saying if I could have the boat to him Monday morning, he might be able to complete the job by next Saturday. He did it! It was a big job since the holes went through the fiberglass. You would be hard pressed to know where the holes are now. Folks, Marty cares about your boat if it was his own. I bought a black boat that was heavily oxidized and requiring windshield replacement. I clearly communicated with the owner as the boat buying process occurred. His flexibility in my timing, and immediate attention when it arrived was appreciated. He worked on weekends and evenings and was ahead of schedule. The boat is a mirror with depth and every repair was impossible to detect. The windshield was completely replaced with gel coat repairs on screw fractures from the original boat manufacturer that others said were impossible. He even fixed a chip in a Fiberglass table that he noticed. We are lucky to have him in West Michigan and trust me when I say there is no where else to even consider with your boat fiberglass and detailing needs. Every dollar was worth it, and then some! Ben Mansfield: Horrible customer service. My boat was sitting there for seven weeks untouched. Was told before i dropped it off it would be done within ten days. Gave them the benefit of the doubt about being dusy and backed up. Never got a call or text about it going to be longer. I called a couple of times no answer or call back. Stopped out there one night talked to him. He said my boat was next. Two weeks later still not touched. Finally just picked it up and will be taking it somewhere else.To respond to Bowkers comment. Everytime i talked to him before i dropped it off he said he does NOT take appointments. I asked him before i took it out of storage how long it would be there he responded saying it would be done within 10 days. I would have never takin it out of storage to bring it there if it was just going to sit outside and not be worked on. It would be great if he would have responded to my call or text as fast as he did the this review. In no way was this a reflection on my self. He said he was going to get it done in 10 days and he did NOT. I am not saying he does not do great work. He just has horrible customer service .

Bowkers Fiberglass went above and beyond to make sure that my boat was perfect.I had my 27 Tierra's hull sides completely repainted to a completely new color. I talked with the owner (Martin) about creating a color that I had not seen on a boat before and he went to work and it could not have been more perfect. I absolutely love it.While in his care he found some other issues that I may have never found or known about. Martin's work is amazing and nothing short of perfection. He was sympathetic with my situation even though he was SWAMPED with work, but still moved my work to the top of the list and got my boat repaired in 48 hours.Fast forward to today (5/20/22). Let's just say that I messed up and Don could have raked me over the coals because that's what my contract stated.Instead, Don worked with me to come to reasonable terms.As long as he's in business, I'll continue to bring my boat business to Don.

However I think this was more of a situation where the problem isn't just fixable due to the boat type and availability of parts. That being said they should have said that they just can't fix it and I should go somewhere else. But instead I spent thousands of dollars and have gotten nowhere.I've put a lot of thought into this review. A good 6 months at least. Good people, just be straight up with me and don't waste my time and money
