Ken's Fruit Market: what do users think?
Jennifer Dibble: I love shopping here.
George Banfill: Up until three weeks ago I would have given KENS 5 star rating the one time I have an issue I get no resolution I bought two ribeye steaks which cost me $34. When I got home and open the steaks I find a Band-Aid in the packaging. After stopping at the store twice leaving my business card and messages and calling twice on the phone I have is yet got no phone call from management. That first point I had receipt which I now can't find but don't appreciate the fact that the store manager can't even give me a courtesy call. I have shopped at the Plainfield store the old Clyde Park and 28th Street store and Eastern store. A little customer service will go a long way
V Coffland: We went in and tried to spend our Double up Food Bucks because it’s one of the only places we know of where you can use the double up cards and the produce is a reasonable price. The cashier, Aiden, misheard us and thought we wanted to earn. So we earned on our double up and had to spend our EBT balance, which we were saving for grocery stores that don’t use Double up. We were confused the entire time and rather than clarify or confirm with us what happened, we felt like a burden to our cashier who seemed like he really would have preferred we got out and left. We got the impression that he may have been annoyed with us because of our requests, definitely would not describe him as kind or accommodating. Two separate times we went back in and tried to have the situation made right or refunded and no one could help us. Wish I could rate zero stars. Sincerely, Really poor and really disappointed.
Glenn I: Store isn't very big, great prices, fresh meat.Large supply of various products not found anywhere else in the area.
Isaac Covarrubias: Love this place.
Chad Ewald: Ken's is our neighborhood grocery store and it has great potential, but the smell and cleanliness of the grocery store need to improved. It needs a refresh and maybe a little less bulk candy.

Rhonda Hendrix: Enjoy shopping there for fresh fruit.
Susan Rosely: I love this neighborhood store. Always a pleasant experience and feels like community.

Chester Malon: Ken's is apart of our everyday life its in our neighborhood and they are smaller but they offer just as much as the bigger branches of grocery...Everyone is always helpful there and we love the fresh meat and good pricing they have to offer ...We will continue to support them !
Carole Sluce: Great strawberries, banana, pears, apples and watermelon.
Timothy Volkers: I grew up just up the road from the Alger Heights Eastern + Alger shopping district and still like to drop by and grab some groceries at Kens fruit market. The quality of meats and produce is top end and some of the best Chocolate milk in the City. The store also sells great Christmas trees and spring flowers. It's a great place I definitely recommend it.
Style Gray: Love the candy
Rosemary Curry: I Love This store been coming here for 25 years
Walter Sherburne (Eldurago): Good selection of fruits and vegetables. Great meat counter staff. Very helpful employees.
Neil Folson: My job

Tim Daniels: Nice
Cynthia Smith Darku: Nice clean place...could use more cashiers. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Ken's! I honestly can't say enough. Since my last post, they have gotten more cashier's and they are ALL very pleasant and welcoming. Great place to shop! Especially for fresh produce and meat.I also LOVE how they come up with new and different meal enhancements like meats and seafood choices! They have a stuffed whole chicken breast, and a Salmon stuffed with REAL Crabmeat at simply AMAZING! All you have to do is put them in the oven, and pull out perfection!

Kingma's Market: what do users think?
Shelly Krawczak: Stella from the deli department is fabulous. I called her for cocktail trays for our daughters wedding and she walked me through the entire process and made it fun! The trays were beautiful! We had many compliments on the various trays she put together for us. Kingmas uses the highest quality meats, cheeses, and fruit. So worth it!!!! They delivered-on time- professional-trustworthy-and very helpful. They took off the stress and worry during a time we really needed help. We highly recommend Kingmas!
Z Brooks: Every time I’m in the store no one seems happy or welcoming at all, today that changed. The lovely cashier who had her first day today was so welcoming and polite. Hopefully the other workers pick up that from her. Maybe it’s because I have an alternative look that people don’t care to be friendly but she was a rockstar!!
John Crankshaw: I don’t go often to this store — my Spring visit is to buy a giant pot to place at a local grave I decorate. They always have them. Inside the store you’ll find a renowned butcher case that a come to a few times during the summer for bbq meats, sausages and other goodies. They have also an olive bar and cheese case. Also nice produce and specialty packaged food items. And much, much, much more.
Kari Hicks: This place is such a gem! My fiancé and I are both foodies, and love to cook, and this is our go-to store for inspiration. As soon as you walk in you’re hit with delicious smells, and the mesmerizing wall of chocolate covered goodies, and candies. The best part is the fantastic meat counter! Friendly, outstanding service every time. Hands down, the BEST homemade breakfast sausage links around, a variety of jerky sticks, huge stuffed pork chops, and if they have the whole smoked chickens, grab one! I was also thrilled to find Cavendish & Harvey hard candies from Germany…a favorite of mine from my childhood. We also love the selection of individually wrapped buns/croissants, and cake slices from Sugar Momma’s Bakery.
Betsy Flory-McCoy: Good food and selection, high prices.
Fred R: Great neighborhood market. They have something for everyone. Surprising selection for a smaller specialty store. The quality of products is top-shelf and fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Deli and butcher counter included. Check it out.
Deena Clark: Caitlin created a beautiful wedding gift basket for me. I gave her total responsibility for the items and she did an absolutely beautiful job. 😍 Thank you.
Mark Pearson: Such a handy location in the Cheshire, Riverside Gardens to pick up top notch groceries, specialty food, butchered items, wine & beer.
Charlie Sears: Local fresh produce... What's not to love? The employees recognize regulars and say hi, which is nice!
DaVina Wearen: Reasonable prices, beautiful location, such a mix of fruits to choose from. I’m so glad I randomly found this grocery store !
Bob Flikkema: Great small box store. Always the freshest produce, a full service butcher/deli counter, bread and bakery items and a nursery in the spring!
Michael Stratton: Would be nice if they were open util at least 9. Also their prices can be a bit outrageous. But they have such a good vegan selection that I can't possibly give them less than 4 stars. Also the cashiers tend to be friendly.
Bryan Guglielmi: Great place with lots to offer. When checking out today, however, Masha asked for my ID and I'm fine with having to provide proof for age restricted items -- but Marsha did not ask the gals name in line ahead of me for her ID; just a verbal date of birth ... and she was 2 years younger than me 🤷‍♂️
David VanderVelde: Amazing beer selection. Many specialty products, fun to browse
Eric G: Top quality, friendly service. The meat market alone makes this place worth a stop.
Justin: I went here to quickly grab a head of lettuce and one tomato and left paying almost $6! The tomato wasn't fresh and the single head of basic lettuce was $5.00!!! I have NEVER paid more than $3.00 (and that's expensive) for a head of lettuce, let alone $5.00... I used to love coming here for their meat market in the back, but this is just plain getting ripped off, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I do understand that smaller stores are typically more expensive, but paying 60-70% more for something so basic is a tad absurd. Can't say I will shop here again unfortunately.
patricia morris: Great little neighborhood store to make a quick trip. Super collection of beer and wine too. Nice meat counter.
Michael Drouillard: Friendly staff and great selection of items.
Heather Poynter: Great place to get a Thanksgiving turkey 🦃
Mary B: I LOVE this market! There is no better place to buy your meat. Special things await when you go into this great little market. You'll discover wonderful treats and great eats!
Mary Pearson: Not a spot for staples but a fantastic meat counter and deli! Great wine selection.

Heffron Farms Market: what do users think?
John Rice: Great store!
Wendi Sneden: Unfriendly people working in the store.
Linda Froehlich: Very nice meat market, as well as eggs, honey and a few other specialties. Nice and clean as well. Go check them out!!!
Jess L (IG: _just.jess.things): I really love this store it has a lot of meat pieces you can't find elsewhere at such convenient pricing and Plainfield Ave is such a convenient location for me!Chicken and turkey necks, chicken hearts, chicken liver chicken feet, farm fresh eggs, sausage made on the farm, everything is so good!(They also have great cuts of steak, seafood, burger, sausages, the list goes on...)One reason I especially love it is I feed my pets a balanced raw diet and they have a special small cooler here where they sell a ground up mix of a raw diet for dogs and cats in 2lb packages. One side of the cooler is turkey packages and one side is chicken. One mix has small bones in it and one doesn't. Bones are GREAT for naturally cleaning your pet's teeth! These are not the size of chokable bones and they're SAFE for them because they have not been cooked. It's a RAW Diet so you feed this to them AS IS, DO NOT COOK IT!! The packages are $3/apiece which if you buy this online it's usually double the cost for this!!AND for only a 5 minute drive from my house?! Hell yeah!
Kyle: Always high quality foods at a great price
M Hart: This is a local meat market.Everything is processed fresh and then quickly frozen. They have 4 locations including the farm in belding mi. I have been shopping her for 15 years. Top notch family business.
Steve Surdock: A little pricey but great selection of local vacuum sealed and frozen meats. They have the best "lunch meat", if you like eating real meat...and who doesn't?
Melissa Hatfield: Awesome store!
Chris Myrick: Not happy, dropped my deer off and never received my order of summer sassage from last year's deer. And what i did receive was the smallest bag of meat I've ever received in 20 years of hunting. They also lost my dad's trophy 8 point cape for awhile, so we had to go back when they did find it. Lots of hair and fat on the meat. Maybe it was just our 2 orders but I'm not bringing this year's deer to them. Gonna try out a new place tomorrow.

puneet thind: No overnight parking

Only upside is there's beautiful women working in the office next door so the parking lot eye candy is nice.
Nick B: They don’t care about drivers time, unloaded 1 truck in 6 hours. Never coming back to place & recommend others too.I wish there was an option for no star option
Charlotte Gassama: Took far too long to load 5 pallets.
kj Style: Worst company in Michigan drivers please please do not come here I’ve been waiting for 6 hours to get unloaded and I am the only truck here rude lazy disrespectful StaffWorst company in the state of Michigan
Ali Akhmadovich: They dont let drivers use their restroom and they are super rude. Also they don’t care about you Log Books. Please don’t waste your time. Don’t PU their loads and don’t deliver here. You will have only bad experience if you do so.
Krista Devries: They work their workers to the bone bome coming home at 7 a.m and going in at 2 p.m they never get to see their friends or family and they don't care AT ALL. I wouldn't recommend this job if you want to have some type of social life
Jarva Doiley: Didn't take to long to get unloaded.
wayne taylor: A very professionally run business. I had the pleasure of a tour of the facility by Shannon Krause. I was extremely impressed by the operation of the plant but more so by professionalism of Shannon. I would highly recommend Pearson Foods to any client as well as any prospective employee.
