Not only was the selection something I could have spent hours looking through, the staff was incredible and so kind. Do not miss this gem of a shop.

The staff was very friendly and there was even a store dog!!!!! Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend!
olga long: If you are a paper lover - this is the store for you. They offer a nice variety of paper binders, notebooks, pens, etc. What I really enjoyed was their huge selection of custom greeting cards. The cards are designed by local artists too. Some cards are racy and greetings you have never seen before - trust me. I stocked up on my supply for the year and laughed all the while picking them out. "Suns out, buns out."

Meijer Gardens Gift Shop: what do users think?
C Smith: What a beautiful place to visit! I've been a couple times for concerts (awesome venue) but never visited the actual gardens until recently. We were there for a couple hours and didn't even come close to seeing everything. I can't wait to come back and am thinking of getting a membership once our little is born so we can visit often!
amber heaton: The gardens are ok but get boring after just a couple visits. They never change anything and the price is the same throughout the year. The ticket is very expensive to me because the attractions never change. They seem to want to keep their involvement with the Museums for All program a secret. They list it on the site but do not include it on the pricing boards when purchasing a ticket on site. I have bought tickets with this program twice and both instances the staff member became rude and judgmental. All I did was ask for those tickets then present the cards needed. I'll continue to go here because I live in the area but there are much better gardens in MI!
Enirroc Hemera: I love to visit here every year these gardens have something new each time I come here or just some much to see and not enough time in a day pure Michigan wonderful place to bring kids
Caylyn Roney: Playground: Very kid friendly and lots of activities for the kiddos.Restrooms: Nice clean, well kept restrooms.Picnic area: Gorgeous view of the parks.
Barbara Demis: Frederick Meijer Gardens are beautiful and offer activities for children and adults alike. The grounds are clean and well cared for.
Stephanie Meehan: Beautiful gardens, well-curated and the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. Had a wonderful time here with my family.
Shelly Struss: My husband and I spent three hours here and didn't see everything. We could easily spend the whole day. Loved the Japanese gardens the most.
Christine Thieman: It's a wonderful place to spend the afternoon 😊
Tasha ann (tbaby): We went over the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful!!
Samantha Laube: Beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens, lots to see and enjoy. My go-to spot to bring out of town friends. I love the butterfly exhibit they feature in early spring.
Celeste E: Beautiful garden and facilities. There are bathrooms everywhere, which is excellent when you are with small children. You definitely need to go early if you want to see everything. The children's garden was a hit for our kids. The Japanese garden and the large horse were the adults favorite.
melanie Burns: Beautiful
Regina Woods: In all the 30+ years I've lived in Michigan, I had never been to Meijer Gardens. It's big and has lots of exhibits, gardens, water features and sculptures. They had a good size children's garden with an interactive water feature of the great lakes. We only had about 3 hours to see as much as we could. I would recommend at least 6 hours to really see everything. It's wheelchair accessible everywhere you go. They do have a picnic pavilion at the front of the gardens.
Brenda Jablonski: Planning a second trip before May 1st to see the butterfly exhibit. Everything was incredibly beautiful I love art 🎨
Lisa Long: Great place, plenty of parking. I recommend the tram tour to get an idea of what you want to go back and see.
j.j. bobasho: I had heard a lot of good things about the art at this place, and that part did turn out to be absolutely true. What no one talks about, however, is that this location is cold, dark, and rainy (even on an afternoon in May
Daniel Richardt: Loved the Devos Japanese garden and the Meijer sculptures along with the Chihuly glass. The concrete tree columns are a great touch. Had a chance to talk with several staff and Amy was delightful.
Tracia Stansby: One of my favorite places in GR! We went to see the Cherry Blossoms in the Japanese Garden and timed it just right with the Butterflies. The sculpture park is still my favorite area. So much to see, I always have my camera with me also. You can eat in their cafeteria or bring a packed meal. Staff is friendly. They do have a children's play area, nature trail, and a Tram.Playground: Not necessarily a playground with slides, but there is a pretty large play area for kids.Restrooms: They really upped their game with the restrooms after the remodel. They are really nice and plenty of stalls. They also have seperate family restrooms.
Paul Williams: What a gem!
T N: The last time I visited the gardens was years ago. Walking g up to the new parts of the building was amazing. Loved all the new architecture and agricultural things they have done with new add ons. The only downside and the reason I give 4 star versus 5 is parking and the boardwalk should be updated. On some parts I felt like it was ritting out. Other than that, great family place, oh they even have a kids park as well for the little ones.Playground: Kids playground area, with a decent amount of neat sculptures to climb on even a kid door to for entry.Restrooms: They were clean to a point, of course, as it being a hug facility foot traffic is heavy. So it's to be expected.
Theora Veinbergs: This is definitely a must see. Awesome spots for kids to get all their energy out and some amazing sculptures.

Agate & Herb: what do users think?
Jantje Jensen: The owner is a delight and really knows her stuff. She has a beautiful selection of jewelry and gift ideas I haven't seen anywhere else. Definitely a must-check-out.
Sarah Stokes: I live out of state and was looking for a set of crystals as a birthday gift. BreAnna was super helpful! She sent me pictures of multiple options and was extremely knowledgeable about each item. I found a set that perfectly matched what I was trying to find! Thank you!!
Jamie Kusmierczak: Absolutely beautiful jewelry and Polish Pottery(Bolesławiec). This is a great place to pick up a gift.
Nicole T: Agate & Herb is such a cute shop! There are so many fun items to choose from! Her jewelry pieces are unique and beautiful, and BreAnna is lovely! I was delighted to find her shop also has an online store, as I live out of state. I look forward to being back in GR to shop in person!
T Chilluffo: This past Thursday I took my teenage daughter to visit Agate and Herb for the first time after finding such a dainty boutique online with all the gorgeous photos of the shop. We were taken aback at the pure Gold we struck inside. There are so many perfect gifts for oneself or a friend all with a price point that didn't have this mother of 9 fainting on the floor. The owner answered our questions and was very attentive. In celebration of the upcoming holiday we were even able to score a delicious box of chocolates from Poland with our purchase. We didn't go in with anything in particular in mind but felt the call of each item that made it into the bags we brought home. Definitely will make this a favorited spot on maps to visit regularly as the products on hand are uniquely chosen and vary. Can't wait for our next visit!
Jennifer Hansen: I love Agate & Herb! BreAnna was super helpful in finding the exact ring that I was looking for. The store is so cute, well organized and has plenty of items for everyone you are shopping for. Definitely a store you must visit if you are in the area.
Nancy Hansen: I love this shop! The giraffe pitcher (with our fresh lavender) and cement-based, hand-poured 100% soy candle, both purchased at Agate & Herb, make a beautiful and fragrant display on our live edge shelf. Check out this new shop in Gaslight Village, East Grand Rapids. Beautiful jewelry, ceramic 22K gold abalone trinket dishes, prints, planters, tea towels, crystals and much more to assure a fun shopping experience and leaving with a white Agate & Herb bag in hand!
Jes Steph: I've been following Agate and Herb on social media for a while now. When they posted about confetti made from plants, I sent them a message to ask about shipping to San Diego. I was delighted with the customer service received. The confetti is cute and something I don't feel bad about handing to my Nieces and Nephew to throw at our wedding reception. I highly recommend this shop!
Beth Moore: Was following along with this adorable shop’s social media, and glimpsed a ceramic snake in the background of one of the pictures. Reached out to inquire, and had multiple images of the options within minutes. My purchase was packaged and shipped timely and safely and I am OBSESSED. Shop has a really well curated feel. Everything is unique and feels like a treasure!
Gilbert Jauregui: Had a great experience here when I was out killing time before my dinner reservation next door. They had plenty of stuff for men and women. Definitely coming to back.

Yours Truly: what do users think?
Kate: Super disappointed with my most recent experience. I understand people make mistakes, but the way this situation was handled was truly uncalled for. I paid for a book that was "scheduled to come in the following day" which was the day of the baby shower I was attending, so the clerk shared that once the order arrives, she would text me. An hour before my event, I still had not received a call, so I took it upon myself to call and check. The same clerk from Friday, told me that there was a misunderstanding, and what she had told me was that the book was actually supposed to be in on Monday. Well, that meant, I was showing up to the shower with half a gift. Not typically a big deal, but when you're specifically told something, you expect you can count on some sort of follow up or update on the situation. Fast forward to today, Tuesday, 4 days after the purchase....I stop into the shop to get the book, and was again told that "I would receive a text when the book arrived", and was not actually told it would be here on Monday. I wouldn't have made the purchase if I knew it would be this much of a hassle. I think the most disappointing thing is that I was blamed for the "misunderstanding" and the shop owner straight up lied to me twice. I am a big supporter of local shops, and this place lost me......It's one thing to be accountable for what you say, but another to lie, and shift blame for the purpose of a sale. Mistakes happen, and orders get delayed, but honesty and transparency is the best way to approach your customers!
K SM: Love this fun shop! So many cute things. I have purchased some great kid’s things here - games, toys and books. Friendly and very helpful staff. Always cheerful.
Jill E.: This is a beautiful gift shop with books, stationery, games, puzzles, jewelry and clothing. They offer hand-selected items sourced by the owners that are unique, creative, and fun. A must visit!!
Joan Gearns: Owner can be rude. When asked about trying on both gloves, she told the customer she could not cut the plastic tag keeping it closed and then put the pair back on the shelf. So what if the customer returns the gloves after cutting the tag and trying both on? I asked if she had the device that clips items together with plastic thread. She told me her store was too small to own one.. The return policy is another problem. Store credit only. I fought with the owner years ago when trying to return a Christmas ornament. She claimed she already paid the artist for it. So?Just put it back on shelf and sell it. After arguing, she reluctantly took it back and gave me store credit. Her attitude and return policy need to change.
lisa4954: This place was really fun and had a great variety of options. I will definitely be back as I did not have as much time as I would have liked to look around
hannah elizabeth: Wow!! This place was a great stop to get some Christmas gifts. Everything from clothes, jewelry, handmade ornaments, stickers, cards, games, you name it. The ladies that were working today were so incredibly welcoming and kind. The lady at the front counter even asked if I needed help with ideas for gifts, and offered to wrap my purchases (she even offered to wrap some magazines I had purchased across the street at Argo’s bookstore). The customer service went above and beyond, and their kindness made my day! Definitely a good stop to visit in east town ! ❤️
Adam Thompson: Excellent!
Hope Cassidy: Susan is a wonderfully warm and friendly woman and this place wouldn't be what it is without her! Love her and this shop! ♥️
Sandra Otte: Love their selection of larger size clothes for women
m stander: Locally owned boutique with a variety of thing to see and try on.. This place is awesome, and so is the owner! Absolutely love going here!
Jonathan Jesse: Great place for gifts and other treasures
Amber Fox: Susan and her team are so good at making you feel fabulous! They have a great selection of clothing and I am always able to find a few pieces that fit me perfectly. If not, Susan tailors then for me. Every time I wear something purchased from YT, I get compliments.
Patricia Ykema: I have shopped at YT Galleria since they opened and have nothing but good things to say about shopping there. John and Susan are great to work with and are very helpful. Susan is wonderful when I shop for clothing and gives me honest opinions regarding fit and style. They have become good friends.
Kal Spencer: I have found great presents here in the past. The owners are wonderful people that are willing to help you find the perfect gift. Love this place.
Allexys Oakley: This store is lovely. I am new to GR and felt so welcomed by Susan and the entire staff. Thank you and I cannot wait to drop back by soon! :)
Tyler Lidgard: YT is an incredible store. The owners are such beautiful people. I went in looking for gifts for family and Susan walked me through the entire store helping me find the perfect gifts. They are such genuine people and truly care for their customers. The store is beautiful and the quality of their products are amazing. So hard to come by these days. I will always return.
Madeline Schaab: The owners, John and Susan, are wonderful. They go out of their way to build lasting relationships with their patrons. Hands down best place in GR to get cute and/or hilarious cards, many of which teeter the fine line of funny and offensive – in the best possible way. The boutique is also a great place to find unique gifts, many of which are locally sourced from artists around the area.
Tralex Media: Great place to find unique wear with personal customer servicethanks Susan and Naomi
Victoria Woolley: Such personality, charm, and service. Amazing choice of stock
siri slagboom: I love this store. The owners are so friendly. They always have unique gifts. It is my go to place when I need something different. They are also huge supporters of local artists. I encourage anyone to check out this store as well as this shopping district. Such a great community of people!
Hayley Chase: This place is great! I always receive a warm greeting and have lovely conversations with the owners, who obviously take a lot of pride in their business. The items are fantastic, from clothing to art, and I always appreciate the attention I get when browsing. I highly recommend stopping in!
