Gail Pro: It was our first time there. They had a 2 man band and they were terrific!The food is the best especially the Tail pipes (mozzarella sticks), and the French Onion soup (it had steak in it) also the Quesadilla had so much meat and cheese I've never had one so good and filling. The wait staff was attentive.I will go again next time I am in Michigan.It's a must go to, if you are in town.

Alexandra Victoria: The best chicken and waffles I have ever had, and I've had it in many states. Had to go back while visiting Grand Rapids and their fish tacos were also life changing. Everything was fresh and made in house, with an awesome take on mango salsa. Will definitely have to come back next trip out ❤️

Jake Buccieri: I would have went 3.5 stars if given the option. The Olive Burger was coined as a favorite item, and it surely disappointed. The “olive” was just Mayonnaise with a few chopped olives. Hardly any olive flavor at all. We ordered them medium, and they were cooked completely well done. The side salad was just leaf lettuce and about 3 croutons. On a positive note, the Bloody Mary was terrific.
Brennan Aldrich: The Chicken Strips are the bomb especially for a place that you only really go for drinks. Great atmosphere and it's a Michigan alumni bar. Go Blue! Never had a bad experience here.

Michael Belligan: Down to earth local bar vibe, great food (fried chicken sandwich & fish tacos) but during my first visit (tonight) service was a bit slow. Maybe 10+ min to get a drink on several occasions despite it only being 20% full seating. Maybe someone called in sick? I dunno but the food was good enough to come back and find out! Also it’s loud! Didn’t bother me a bit but if you want a quiet speakeasy or are hard of hearing this isn’t your place - at least from 6-9pm when I visited.
joebreeet: Tucked back on the outskirts of downtown and even while dealing with construction in front of the restaurant they have not slowed down at all. The regulars know to keep coming in and it's no surprise. The food and drinks are exceptional. Lots of made to order from scratch and hand battered menu items. Spedrock W: First time here with friends from out of town. Husband and friend got the garage burger. I ordered build your own burger. All three burgers were seasoned to perfection and delicious. Definitely the perfect classic bar burger! My friend and I had the hand cut fries that came with the burgers. My husband ordered a side salad with his burger. The salad had a variety of veggies and fresh crisp Lettuce. The Garage has a very nice selection of beers and spirits as well as Pepsi products and lemon aide. Something for everyone. The staff and overall atmosphere were great! A fun place to spend time with friends and family while enjoying great food and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Tiffany Tate: That was expensive and disappointing. I ordered wings, burnt ends, macaroni and cheese and a cornbread. The cornbread was tiny but fine. The macaroni and cheese was fine. (NOTE: I ordered through Doordash and it took a while to reach me. It might have been better when hot.) The wings were fine and had a decent amount. However, the reason for the 2 stars was the Burnt Ends. They should have been from the brisket point and been a little crispy on the outside but fatty and moist on the inside. They were so burnt almost broke a tooth. The sauce they were tossed in was intended to be camouflage how overcooked they were. It didn't work. There was no fat at all, which explains why it completely dried out. Burnt Ends are not easy and a lot of places don't offer them. When they are offered, they command a higher price point as well. So the Burnt Ends were the most expensive thing I ordered and inedible. This is the first and last time I go here.

Mrs. Michelle Bowen: We've been to Slows in Detroit and GR. Both experiences proved to have fantastic service. Our servers have always been friendly and attentive. What I love most about Slows are their gluten-free options, clearly marked on their menus and now the GR location serves local GF beer! The brisket in Detroit was much more tender and juicy than that of GR, but both did well with their waffle fries 😉. A concert road trip brought me to a slows I've never been to but the quality didn't change one bit.I couldn't decide if I wanted The Reason or The Yardbird.....so I got both!I'm still full as I write this, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice.Slows has some of the best bbq you'll find and absolutely worth the pilgrimage from Canada any day of the week!I will be back as often as I can!

Barb Ezinga: Mission BBQ catered my daughter's wedding this past weekend and we were over the top impressed with them. From the set-up to tear down, they were professional, clean and classy. The sausage was greasy. The ribs were also dry and bland. The cornbread tastes like a quick box mix. It was not the worst BBQ I have had but... It sure was close :(. Ian G S: The menu is easy and straightforward. You either build your own tacos or select from the specialty tacos. The elote queso could have used more corn and the salsa has a smoky flavor that is just okay. The specialty tacos are amazing! Kenzie was our server and she was perfect. The decor is cool and the atmosphere is a good vibe but can be kind of loud. The cocktail are great! I had the freaky tiki and that sh*t was hittin'.
austin Wines: Great service all around but tonight specifically Amy was managing a complete bar full of people on her own and there wasn’t even a wait. She was totally in control and didn’t break a sweat. As a long time bartender I was amazed. Usually folks can get through one or two rushes but she was just going and going. Thanks Amy! You’re a beast behind the bar.

Rachael Sutton: Advertises dinner hours, but as with most restaurants and bars, short-staffed. The person who would have been running the kitchen was late. When they did get there, they had casual conversation with a patron sitting at the bar. We waited 30 minutes to pay our bill for the 2 drinks we had, but neither of the two present staff came to check on us. We ended up leaving money on the table (probably too much for the drinks, but we'll just call that a tip, I guess) and walking out. We probably won't patronize this business again.
