Brandy Erickson: I went to Vera Bradley because I heard they had Harry Potter masks, when I got there she showed me the masks, I am a adult and they are all only kids masks, at no time did she tell me they were kids masks and at no time did she tell me that it was non-returnable. Due to covid you can not try things on and everywhere else will let you return things that don't fit. When I went back the lady was rude. They sold me a $25 dollar kids mask that I can not return. I also have never been somewhere that doesn't tell you "all sales are final" if you can't return something
Bob Jones: There’s a really rude older employee who works here that eavesdrops on conversations of customers, follows customers around the store, and treats them like they’re second class citizens. This has happened all three times I’ve been in the store, and I will not be going back.

Nicole Coman: Locally made leather goods ranging from custom sized belts to airfern holders. They even customize by stamping small phrases into the leather. I was lucky and they were able to do it while I was there 🐄
Murtiag (Murt): Great little shop, well made hand made goods. We got some very nice leather coasters.
Jesy Brenner: Love this shop! Lots of local art and handmade clothes and fun items everywhere! The staff is very kind and helpful.
Stephen Vincent: A homey store with a wide-range of goods. A must-stop if you like looking at beautiful things or happen to be hunting for a gift.
Caroline Karimi: The owners care about the work they do at the shop. They make their own leather goods. One woman makes small journals and notecards in addition to leather. If you care about small local business, browse this store. If you do not see something you want, they may be able to make it for you. Ask them.
Pete Lerma: Nice shop with a lot of cool leather wallets. Would however, discourage people from placing custom orders. Placed an order 2 weeks ago for a wallet and came into the store today to be told that me placing this order was very disruptive to the business and then proceeded to tell me about how running the business and other things were more of a priority. Shame really, I liked the wallet and would have easily waited over a month for it but that experience was not pleasant.

They spent like 30 mins with us chatting about their store, location and their story. Products are super high-end quality and you can customize your order as needed. It's amazing having a spot in town where you can walk in, pitch a concept for something custom, and have a variety of artists ready to step in and make your dreams a reality. Parliament hosts guests artists but is also home to Elyse (Littlewings Designs) and Jake (Harbinger Leather Design) - a married couple making some amazing leather goods.Jake made me a custom bag 5 years ago - before Parliament even existed - as a gift to my husband. He loved that bag and it went with him everywhere. It wore in beautifully with age and was something he treasured. Tragically the original bag was stolen during a car break in. Jake worked with me again to create a replacement bag, capturing a lot of the features we loved from the original bag but also making tweaks and improvements based on feedback from the first bag. The new bag was larger to accommodate our massive laptop, with a few other custom tweaks. It was such a special experience to work with Jake on both bags - and my husband loved them both.I can't think of a better gift to give someone than something handmade and designed by these local artists. So amazing to have a studio like this in Grand Rapids.

Kathy Alexander: Second time here in this bar. First of all it's super small for the greatest crowd they have, it's hard to find a place to sit down inside or outside. Of course the crowd says it all how great this bar is! I'm glad my better half found this place first time he visited me here in Dallas. Went there second time just couple weeks ago and we're taken care of by the very sweet Gabby. I had fruit champagne punch that was delicious and he had old fashioned and a few more drinks that I can't remember. I recommend this place to everyone, although it's hard to find a spot to sit but I'll still give it 5 stars!

Jillian Johnston: This is my favorite shop in all of GR. Not only do they have a unique and varietal selection - both of styles and price points - but hands down they have the best customer service.I recently moved from MI to TN and when I lost my favorite pair of earrings I messaged them to see if they still carried the style. They responded quickly, sending me photos of similar styles both from the same designer and one of similar taste. I’m ecstatic! I have a new pair being shipped to me as we speak! They are so wonderful. You’ll be happy you checked them out. All of my favorite jewelry has been found here.

I became interested in a card game that was on display, and the salesman quickly set it up and played a few rounds with me to demonstrate. I bought the game, and I will never forget our great experience at this store.

Excellent customer service staff who are extremely knowledgable about the travel industry. Staff customizes your shopping experience to your needs and does not work on commission. Sometimes you will get the pleasure of the actual owners waiting on you, very uncommon! Great gift selection with free personalization and gift wrap available. I am always welcomed with a smile and feel right at home. I highly suggest if you are going on a trip of any sort, shop Groskopf's for all your travel needs and support local most importantly!

P Scarberry: Grace went above and beyond from entering the store dropping off my items to the end of my visit by making an offer for my items to checking out! I’ve never been treated so professionally and courteous at this store before! Grace and her colleagues were fun friendly and encouraged us to bring in our gently used items!Grace also went above and beyond to help my grandson! He swallowed a piece of hard candy and started chocking. I was terrified and Grace asked permission to help him and swiftly dislodged the candy and he was able to breathe!! Grace is LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER!Thank you for incredible trustworthy employees Style and Encore!

satin abernathy: I started off by purchasing from them, I had a great experience. then I decided some of the items that I purchased did not fit well and I had a few items of my own to resell. now I don't care about the price that they offer me for my items I just really need them off of my hands, and they're great condition. the fact that they didn't buy not a single item from me and not even their own items that they sold to me was beyond ridiculous and the excuse they gave me didn't make sense. Like I just bought these items from you a week ago why wouldn't you take them back. Long story short I would not be shopping there again, Plato's closet either! I spoke with one of my friends and she swore up and down it was a black thing because they don't buy from her either but seeing if the other reviews just lets me know it's a bad company to resell to
Jody Smith: Style Encore is one of the best gently used women's clothes in the Grand Rapids area. The beautiful (pregnant ♎️👣) Kennedi, is the nicest person and extremely knowledgeable. She helped me understand more about what they look for when buying clothing and the differences between the types of clothing. Even though I have spent half my life working in retail, there things that I still didn't know and she helped me understand. Thank you ladies, you guys rock!

Angel Par: First time I went there, it was to go sell some stuff, which didn't work out.I came in to sell stuff, and the girls that were looking through barely glanced and did not buy anything from me. Another girl said it might've been because I had clothes from brands they weren't accepting, but I did my research and got only clothing that they were accepting.Second time I went there, it was after I won a gift card, they (different people) were super nice and I didn't feel judged by them as I felt the first time I went in, and I even managed to find something cute.I would sorta recommend. They do have cute stuff, sorta, and if you want trendy brands, then you should go here. Although, it might be easier going to your local Goodwill or something. I think it's easier to just go through the Clearance section at JCPenny's or something idk. The store is nice and clean though.
Olja Haglund: First time I went to the store I was able to buy a coat for my daughter. Since I liked the store I decided to bring some clothes to sell in great condition. I left and was told to return upon their text. I don’t think they even looked at the clothes. Upon returning, the girl at the front desk was rude and pretentious while telling me that my brand name clothes were not good enough. I am glad to hear from other reviewers that this was not just my experience. Took them to a different store and they gladly took them all. Will not be back. Plenty other choices with better attitude and no power trips.

I brought in 2 large bags of Banana Republic, BCBG, Anthropologie, Express, Free People, J Crew etc. I waited over an hour for them to look at my clothes piece by piece (meanwhile they were easily distracted by other duties in the store). At the end of the hour they didn't offer me a single cent! I swear I saw nearly identical items hanging on the rack. I even checked the website to see what brands they prefer. And I'm not delusional- the items were super stylish and in REALLY good shape...they just don't fit me anymore. Very weird. Won't go back.

Brianna DeWitt: I really like Style Encore and shop here regularly. The staff are friendly, and I've found many good deals. However, the fitting room floors are consistently dirty - not just dust bunnies, dust elephants. So be careful to not drop anything or let clothes touch the floor.
