The Haunt: what do users think?
Lish Brooke: Fun
Evan Solis: Its was so fun but veryscary
Eric Veenstra: Very good
Tammy Roberts: Definitely worth the money this year it was pretty awesome !!!!
Scott Zahl: This place is amazing. We had tons of fun and there were tons of scares definitely worth the time and money
Katie Flaska: I am extremely disappointed and feel this was a complete waste of money. After waiting in line for over 2 hours, I can honestly say I did not jump or get scared one single time. Here is why, I was the 6th person back in a group of 8, and throughout the entire Haunt, the people of The Haunt would only jump out at, scare, frighten, mess with, whatever you may call it, with the first 3 people of the group. So those of us at the back of the group just got to watch those up at the front being scared/frightened. For the life of me I cannot make sense of why they wouldn’t have people set up to frighten all parts of a group coming through. How could they think it would be of any fun for people to just be able to watch those up front experiencing all of the scares?!
Ashlee A: Super fun experience to share with family or friends! Love all the variation in the separate houses within. Scare actors/actresses do a great job keeping guests entertained. The line might be long but what do you expect. If you hate the line then I would recommend going to dark out version in November. I went to both and I find both very interesting, but the dark out is definitely scarier. Love the haunt, been a veteran for this attraction for 4 years!
Melissa Andrews: Amazing!!!
Zlatan Hrnic: Fun times
Rook Vanbennekom: Went on blackout night with my girlfriend and my daughter and her friend. It was great had a blast. Would go back again next year on blackout night. Better on them days. But both were great. Thanks for a awesome night.
Brooklynn Cooper: It is fun
Heidi Marlette: We are long time fans of the Haunt and they have never disappointed us!! The props are spectacular and very real looking. The actors makeup and everything they do is highly detailed. Shoutout to my brother from another mother Dougie!!! Thanks for taking care of Me-ma.
Inice Chandler: We went Sunday evening. The line wait was long with a knee problem it was daunting and very warm as we waited in the maze line not covid friendly at all. However, once we got to the third scene it got better and better! We had fun!
Heather DeRuiter: Went Halloween night to check it out and it was AMAZING. Brought some friends and all 5 of us had a great time. Highly recommend going to anyone who is interested in haunted houses! Can't wait to go next year!
Davidsonian: The best haunted house! Coming back year after year. The kids version is great and not too scary, my 12 year old had fun, and so did my 4 year old!
Heather Fernandez: Very disappointed this year. I took my two kids tonight to the haunt because this was the one thing my 13 year old daughter wanted to do for her birthday. When we got there I paid almost $100. We were grouped with another family of four (7 people total) and we were in the back of the group. By the time we would get to the jump scares and even the actors they were already done and closing so we never had a scare. Highly upset that we had to be in the back of the group. I feel like I let my daughter down for her birthday. I'm sorry I take that back the actor with the chainsaw did scare my daughter but the test of the actors didn't do much for scaring this year. I go every year and I think next year I will find somewhere else to go. Maybe it was the actors not really trying was because it was the last night but dang then I should've paid like they weren't gonna try. And I truly miss the characters walking around whole we wait and miss the dancing zombies.
Michelle Block: It was overall a good experience fun for the family. A few good scares but not too scary for kids. I went with the fast pass and didn't wait long. Definitely would recommend and will be going back.
Mellisa Hadzikic: it slayed
Colton Peterson: Awesome experience, much scarier than Walker
Emily Haapala: Seriously this was worth every Penny of the $30 I spent. There were multiple layers of themed areas! The actors did amazing! My muscles hurt from clenching, my throat hurts from scream and I definitely peed my pants but it was worth it. Perfect!
Evildeadguy 316: So I go all out for haunted houses on Halloween every year. I'm from Ann Arbor so this was a 3 hour drive. I tend to go with a friend and travel and hit multiple haunted houses in a night in a different area. This was my favorite one this year, and I would say The Haunt is the haunted house Erabus wishes it was.The Haunt is an appropriate name because it was the best haunted house I went to all year. This was the last out of 15 haunted houses I went to this year. It had 5 different themes, most of them unique or done in a unique way, and it took about 40 minutes to go through. Each setting was broken up by a short que line so groups would not bump into each other. The main highlight for me was the never ending room that kept leading to different haunted coredors then back to the main room. Think a haunted house version of P.T. Then what it opened up into.. I don't want to spoil but my jaw dropped to the floor it was so awesome!!!I talked to the owner after and the guy is very passionate and I can't wait to come back next year and see how it changes and what he plans to do in the future.I have seen complaints of long lines, it was a wait for my friend and I, But it was worth it and that is pretty normal for quality haunted houses. I have waited a lot longer, for a lot less of a haunted house for a much higher price. But the house itself is top notch and a great mix of special effects, animatronics, atmosphere, and really good actors that know what they are doing and how to work the room they are in. It was worth the 3 hour drive for me, and I plan to get the fast pass next year, so I can hit this Haunt and a few more in that area.

Abandoned Acres Farm Haunted Attraction: what do users think?
Cheyenne Kelly: Not a fan of the price. I have paid less in Detroit for real spook houses. But very creative. I loved the 2nd maze with the glasses and Neon colors. It was a cool twist I hadn’t seen before. I would come back.
Brieanna: Do not waste your money here. This past weekend 10/30/22 me, and my three friends planned on visiting this attraction. Two of my friends were visiting from Wisconsin and ended up buying their tickets the day of the event after confirming from your website that we were able to enter until 9 pm. When we arrived at 8:59 pm we were informed that we could not enter because the last tickets were sold at 9, after informing security that we had already purchased the tickets we were still denied entry, along with many others. We left not wanting to escalate the situation but given there was only a single night left to attend I went to check with security since it clearly was before 9pm. I was met with a lot of hostility, I asked when we needed to arrive by to gain entry and was coldly told that I had already been told anytime before 9pm. So given that we had arrived before 9 pm I asked if we show up at 8:59 we will be given entry, and I was told that they would not be happy about it. A little frustrated, I simply pointed out that was exactly what I was trying to avoid, so what time do we actually need to be here by, and was given the not direct answer of 8:50 pm. The next night I had to take my son trick or treating, and he is only seven and much too young for the event. By the time we arrived home there was not enough time to make the 40 minute drive back to the event. When I reached out to the owners I was simply told that that didn't happen and was sent a screenshot showing the website saying last entry is 9pm.
Kari Taylor: Was lots of fun, was longer than most haunted trails so it was definitely worth it. Gotta read the story behind the place before going though! Will be back next year!!
Brendan Schafer: Shortly over priced, but great for kids. Definitely wouldn't do it more than once every few years.
Superstar Galactica: Don't bring little kids. Really meant for teenagers and up. Great job!
Leah Jordan: Scissors in second attraction were to close to my cousins neck.... like touching hair on his neck.
doug grant: Very fun worth the money my kid had fun
Dennis Stack: A fun haunted house experience!
Jessica Ackerberg: I spent $105.00 for tickets, spent over 3 hours in line only making it half way up the line for them to announce it would be another 2 hour wait. At this point 11pm my two boys were cold and ready to, they do not do refunds. We had to waste it entirely. Disappointed is an understatement.
Maga Death: They literally say no refunds every 30 mins because they no there a scam. The most scariest part about this place is the wait in line..........
Jason Nadeau: In my opinion it's not worth the $35 admission fee or the 3.5 hour wait
Jeremy Strickland: No organization. Parking was chaotic, ticket taking was chaotic, the lines were chaotic. Little in the way of line management (half the crowd was smoking/vaping while an announcement repeatedly said not to), and we waited three hours in it. Most of the “corn maze” is just walking through dark or strobe-lit paths cut through the corn. Not scary, just difficult to see and avoid the mud in the dark. Big waste of time and money. Even my teenager was underwhelmed.
Gwen Charles: Very very worth the 35$
Max VanGrouw: The line was scarier than the mazes.
Deanne: It was okay. Had to wait 3 hours before getting into the first haunted attraction. The way they have the lines set up is atrocious. Many people were cutting which added to the wait. We have been to Cedar Point for Halloweekend so we went in knowing that this was a more budgeted attraction. Is it worth $35, yes. Is it worth $35 after waiting 3 hours, no.
Matthew Scott: This place is awesome, actually pretty scary, and one of the actors(my friend Meagan) recognized me and called me by name. It was terrifying because in that moment it made it very real throwing me for a loop and actually freaking me out for a couple seconds. This place is amazing and other than the long wait is so worth it.
George Hooker: We went to Apple Valley Farm's. It was nice but not as nice or as big as Lewis Farm's. Admission was 5.00 less but not as many animals or activity. Concessions stand was kind of pricey for what you got and not as many choices as Lewis farms. Bag of you pick apples was the same price but way smaller bag. Overall was nice for smaller kids not that much for older kids.
Leona Taylor: Just dropped the kids off at Abandoned Acres Farm. Girls went in the haunted maze. Hubby and I did the Old Eli experience. Escape Room concept. $5 for 5 min it was awesome way to kill time while waiting for the girls.
Cassandra Headd: This is a must see! If you have not checked it out, just go! The special effects and costumes are amazing! The decor is spooktactular! Just watch out for Old Eli, you might be the next addition 😉
Kira VanWagner: Not scary at all. Paid $55 for the fast pass but with that all that was provided was an extra 10 minute maze that has a total of 12 scarers that barely try where you then proceed to wait with the general public passes. Their definition of scary was slapping the walls and shouting randomly.
Trinity Holmes: Ehhhhhhh. I would save your time and money. We got there maybe 30-40 minutes after they opened and waiting about an hour and a half to go into the first maze. The line was twice as long when we left. Definitely not the scariest haunt in Michigan. And for $35 for 45 minutes is a lot. I’m willing to pay if I’m scared. (Or $55 for the fast pass)The 3D maze had a cool attraction the school bus but that was about it. 10/10 would not recommend

Witches of New Salem: what do users think?
Tammy Hall: I place you want to go at Halloween, had so much fun. Price is far. Free parking. Food good. Staff good. Family friendly.
Tim Simon: You are not going to find a better place to go for some haunted fun.. they go above and beyond! I would tell you more but I don't want to give anything away. This place is second to none...
Bill Newhof: Great place and staff
Logan F.: It was great! We did the the haunted woods, and they have you walk through buildings, each with different themes. A lot of the jumpscares were by really cool machines; they put a lot of work into it!
David Rickert: Best Halloween attraction I've been to yet
Chloe Dean: Really good!
Sam Hoppe: Beats the heck out of the haunt. Pizza is pricey but the haunted attractions are awesome
Teresa Martinez: We have gone to the night maze and haunted woods for years and we all would highly recommend going are daughter did not start going till she was 10 she was scared but did it and soon found the fun in it so just know your self and children and please remember some of the staff are teenagers so please don't hit them we are paying to be scared not to hurt other people have a great time the day maze is great also
Tyler Zylstra: Kinda boring...most of the "scary" buildings are *maybe* 6'6" max so taller folks, be ready to crouch your way through the whole time.
Danie Duron: We had about 30 minute lines for each haunted attraction. Buy your tickets ahead of time and you can skip the ticket line. They do a really nice job. The corn maze is an actual maze and they will not help you find your way out.
Shannon Esman: I wish you could buy tickets ahead of time online. We waited in line for over an hour and half just to buy tickets for admission. But overall the attractions are awesome and they have a ton of scare actors.Just be prepared to wait in long lines.
Sly0789: Very unorganized. Waited in line for almost 3 hours for tickets just too wait in another line for attractions. The lines all blended together. No one knew what lines went where. For such great reviews and how much they charged. They could of spent more money on the set up. Plus only 4 port-a-jons for all the people there. Not clean, no toliet paper. It was a mess.
Elle Hoover: CASH ONLY! They do have an atm inside the concessions area, but to avoid extra fees just bring it ahead of time.My friends and I did the light show and one of the trails and we had a great time! The light show….was not great, but for $10 and if you have kids it’s cute. The trail (lost fairy tales one) was really good and was a decent length! They had haunted huts you had to go through along the way so that made it a good experience. Overall I say it’s good for the price and the concessions were cheap and delicious too! They were hand making their doughnuts on spot so they were hot, you could also get hot cider (or cold) for $1.
Cheyenne Rose: Oneof my favorite haunted attractions. We've been to many over the years and none can compare to Witches of new Salem. Definitely well thought out and planned. Haunted corn maze is a huge favorite, no other corn maze can compare.
Brenda Gerhardstein: This was totally awesome! We all had alot of fun.
Al Lenhart: Great time, every time.
Danielle Moss: Favorite place to go to for the spooky season.
Laura Hnyluk: Going to New Salem every fall has become a yearly tradition for me for the last few years, with the exception of 2020. This year however, has me questioning if I will go back. I know it's standard for the employees to touch you and whatnot, but I felt as though some of them got a little too touchy feely this year. One of the employees followed me through a part of the trail and rubbed my back the entire time, even though I had tried to speed up and get away from him. Also, two of the employees made some really hurtful and insulting comments to my brother and I while we were going through the corn maze. Again, I know the deal going through the trails and maze, but I thought this year kind of ruined it for me. I don't know if they had a bad batch of employees this year, but I might reconsider coming back next year after my experience.
natalie m: people thinking about bringing little kids should really know that the actors WILL touch you. they do not tell you this until after you have paid/waited in line - it’s NOWHERE in the policies online. i watched a girl get put in a headlock by an actor lol.. it was just surprising bc all the haunted houses i’ve been to like that make you sign a waiver, but this place does not.
Marlene Rodriguez: Had lots of fun
Alyssa Clark: This is one of my favorite haunted houses so far in Michigan! I did all 3 things they had to offer ( corn maze and 2 trails)One of the longest haunts I've been too as well!Lines were long but it's a given, as lines will be long at any good haunted attraction you visit. All the employees were very helpful at pointing out where to go depending on what wristbands you had!The corn maze was muddy and hard to walk in but that made it kind of fun just wear shoes and or pants you dont mind getting dirty.Other then that i will continue to come!

The Great Escape Room Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Credence Ottino: Our lady was very helpful as we went with two kids (4 and 2) she was patient with us and even went above and beyond after we ran out of time to explain a few things we missed :) we signed up for more tickets for another time during our visit because she was such a lovely lady.
Holly Beamer: We had a great time! Our 9 & 11 year old had a blast helping us figure out the clues🙂. We will definitely go again!
France Robert: This was the best escape room experience I have had. Challenging but welcoming my personal challenges in solving problems
Abigail Kolkman: They did a great job! It was my first experience with an escape room. Super easy check in, fun room with a good challenge (we did the Presidents Club)!
Mackenzie Beeney: Very fun experience with friendly staff! They let us know what the solutions we missed were afterwards, which was really appreciated and satiated my curiosity. 10/10 would go again.
Benjamin Stuart: Loved the puzzle. Great team building op.
Joseph Vig: My group had a wonderful time. Thank you for a great experience
Naman Jain: I enjoyed it
Elizabeth Vander Plaats: Very fun!!
Micah Klompien: Pretty enjoyable place for my first ever escape room!
Xia Pimpleton: Finally got to enjoy one of my birthday (3.29.23) presents from my daughter Xia Pimpleton today. She got us an escape Room all to ourselves. It was at The Great Escape Room, Dr. Watsons Infirmary. We got to perform heart surgery. The doctor was out and it was left up to us to do the surgery. She knows I love stuff like that. We dressed up like nurses, Scrubs, Caps, Masks, Crocs and Gloves! With just two people in this room, figuring out puzzles we got it! You know we can't get photos of the inside, that operating room was fun. Y'all my Scrub top is a "Grey's Anatomy" Srub top 👀 Dope!!! I love that show as well. THANKS DAUGHTER I LOVE YOU ❤️!!!
Sidney Ryan: I had an amazing time with this experience. 10/10! I would definitely do it again!
Nate K: This was a blast. The guide Lianna was excellent and made the experience very immersive and fun.
Deb Tribbett: Fantastic staff, fantastic rooms. The puzzles are not linear! Have been twice and already bought tickets for next time.
Jesse Pipe: We had a great time at the Great Escape Room with my work team. Wes helped us in our escape from Moriarty’s Gameroom. I hope to come back again and try a different room!
Rosemary Stellino: It was a great fun and we finished with 5 minutes to spare. I proved that an old geezer of 76 still has it.
L. Poplawski: So much fun! We went as a way to celebrate Mother's Day. The grand kids loved searching for clues! Such a fun way for a family to work as a team. We loved it!!
Tim Breed: We visited the escape room as a birthday gift. We had a great time. Staff was helpful at just the right level of involvement. Thank you for the awesome experience. And we beat the time limit by five minutes! 👍
Ron Parkes: This is a company that discriminates against people for who they are. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Do not give this company your business, their business practices are terrible! I have honestly never felt so humiliated by a company in my life, unprofessional is an understatement!(It’s a shame and a bit classless that I have been referred to as a disgruntled employee in their response when I am talking about how they discriminate against people. It’s a shame they prove me right. Please be careful when dealing with this business, you see how little they care about the feelings of those they wrong.)
Lisa P: We did the Mountain Murder room and it was challenging but fun. We used all three of our clues and were able to escape within 52 minutes.
Chelsea Smith: Always a great time. Professional and friendly staff. I have done three of the rooms and they are all so different and challenging in a good way! Highly recommend!
