O: My experience was not good. I was made to feel unwelcome. Nasty attitude and a unkind worker. I will take all my business to Fresh Thyme and also tell all my friends and co workers about this unkind experience. Fresh Thyme don't mind answering questions for customers and don't watch you and treat you like you are stealing something. Everyone don't steal. Harvest health workers are very judgemental. I would rate it an zero if it was possible. I stop in to get something for my patients. Still unkindness and unhelpful workers. The older lady and other workers is very rude and unkind. Healthy should be kind and loving not rude and hateful. May God help the soul of all the unkind people their.

Karen Sepanik: I was there years ago. Didn't really like it was kinda dirty. Also don't like the location and I noticed a lot of there vitamins come in plastic which I wouldn't buy I now order everything I need off amazon and I don't have to leave my house

Lots of supplements available. Periodic sales create great buying opportunities. Produce section not the most comprehensive in town.

They quit stocking them and I struggle to find them now. I asked if they could start providing them and was told they would see what they could do. Over a year and still nothing.

M S: For a store that promotes health and wellness, one would think that they would be kinder to those that for health reasons/medical reasons they cannot wear a mask. There is no federal law that requires anyone to wear a mask. It is a suggestion, not law.

Laura Schadoux: My go-to place for health food! They always have items I can't find at other stores, such as dairy-free cheeses, organic whole food vitamins, and raw food items. You can find pretty much anything you might need here even though it's a smaller store. Lots of great organic produce, bulk food items, a large variety of spices, teas, coffees, refrigerated items, etc. The staff is always very friendly and helpful which is great! I can also generally get an additional discount on whole food vitamins at checkout. Can be a bit expensive when I buy all my weekly groceries there but it is worth it for the quality of food I get!

Courtney Kliss: Such a great little store! Unlike some people, I think it's a perfectly situated locale. It's important that fresh and healthy foods are accessible to all, and this area seems disadvantaged in that way - and while the prices might dissuade some people, hopefully WIC is accepted here. I think it's great that Harvest has retained it's footprint in the area and hasn't moved on. Calling the area "dingy" isn't a nice thing to say for the people who live there, previous reviewer. Wealthier neighborhoods aren't the only neighborhoods that deserve this kind of a store!I found everything to be priced as much as you would typically pay for the brands sold and local produce. Sure, you can get some stuff a little cheaper at the farmer's market but - that's only certain days and months of the year. It's nice to know that national and local brands can be found at Harvest Health, and that they have 3 locations!!

tammy kinneman: I have been going to Harvest Health for years for all my supplements and food/drink items. I love the store and have ever since I was a little girl who shopped there with my mother at the original Eastern location. It's one of my absolute favorite stores and I have been making the Cascade location my almost every Saturday trip with my shopping for several years. Not only that, I make a great deal of recommendations to people who need quality supplements and guidance. I want to say that I have noticed over the past year that the staff has not been as friendly or helpful as it used to be, with the exception of the new people.Because I love the store and really don't like to complain, I have held off making any comments at all, until I had an experience this past Saturday that tipped me over the edge. I went to do my shopping as well as pick up a supplement that was being held. The girl I asked, got my supplement for me. When she returned, she proceeded to put it on top of product on a top shelf with a stretched out arm to avoid handing it to me because I didn't have a mask on. The reason I didn't have a mask on is because they cause me anxiety and they cause me to get headaches. I happened to have one that day and realize it's going to have to be something I'll have to suck up and deal with because everyone is in the same boat being forced to wear them. I also understand people are paranoid and it is very apparent now that the mask or no mask wearing has made people avoiding and cold toward one another as well as treating others with contempt when one isn't wearing one. I wish I didn't have that experience and didn't have to write this but I feel that with the money I choose to spend at THIS store is way too great to be treated the way I was treated and believe it could have been handled in a little more respectful or kind way. No customer should ever be treated as if they have a disease and made to feel unwelcome...especially when the employee is already wearing a mask to protect themselves. The way I was treated did not feel good at all and made me feel shamed. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

The ease of both online shopping and curbside pickup has made harvest health one of the first places I've looked to buy my groceries. I've been really impressed with with the whole process. Johanna Martin: I recently called Harvest Health desperately in need of some grocery items and was unable to come into the store. "Holly" took my extensive order and rounded up all the items within the last half hour before the store was due to close. She then had someone bring the order out to my car. This was real service.Harvest Health also orders and gives a discount on the purchase of "cases" of items. This is unlike Trader Joe's, who not only do NOT give discounts on cases, but actually discourages the purchase of multiple items.The Cascade store is where I usually shop. Jessie, who I think is the produce manager, has a wonderful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, always increasing the number of unique produce items available.

Philip R: A fun healthfood store with more than just "flax seed imitation hot dogs". Beyond the usual organic veggies, kombucha, and soy cheese, Harvest Health also carries a wide selection of vitamins, supplements, and alternative medicinal products. I always enjoy wandering the aisles (there's a surprising amount of products for a store of its size) and seeing what's to be found. Prices cause some initial sticker shock, but you have to remember what you're getting for your money. Take your time, and really poke around so you don't miss anything.

Ron Bell: My wife and I just went there and bought a large aloe vera plant. It was very expensive, but that's ok. The plants were all growing together in large pots so ours had to be removed from the rest of the flock. The woman who removed our plant did the opposite of what should have been done! She purposely injured our plant by using siccors to cut off almost all the root on order to not disturb the nearby plants! I've grown 100s of my own aloe plants in California and know they are quite hardy. The neighboring plants would in no way be harmed by dislodging that plant fully in tact. Even if they were slightly roughed up it wouldn't bother them. I questioned her about what she did and she got defensive and justified it. I let it go, but now I wish I hadn't let her get away with that. If you are in business you absolutely should not purposely injure or damage what the customer is buying for an expensive price in order to protect other plants, in this case, that are in a very safe environment! The very bad business practice! I went away feeling quite unhappy.

Der: Some ordinary staples like beans and lentils are more expensive than you'd pay for at the local asian markets or even supermarkets, but this place gets 5* for the dried tvp selection alone. The chicken-like tvp strips are hands-down the best vegan protein source in existence and rehydrate beautifully for stir-fry or other dishes. The nutrition facts make actual chicken look awful, and they soak up whatever sauces/spices you rehydrate them in.

I’m usually not in this area, so I was excited to finally go... the items I wanted to buy I can find cheaper elsewhere. Yogi tea, for example, shouldn’t be $7. I stated three different reasons for not being interested and he still pushed it on me, kept me in the store longer to explain how it works, and wouldn’t accept that I wasn’t interested. I probably won’t be back to this location because of this experience.

Sean Murphy: Great place with a huge selection of products. The rewards program is easy and great. Some items can be pricey but the quality is good. I only had one problem once with energy drinks tasting bad but they replaced them no issues.

I put a order in for a item on 28th Street at the Centerpoint Mall area the night before which they said was readily available. States store opens at 9:30. I am actually here at 9:50 a.m. on 8/30/21 today. Me and 2 other customers are here waiting for the store to open. I know I am not the first person because someone left a not on the door handles stating there displeasure. I have to conclude this since it is 10:10 a.m. Another customer is pulling in now! This needs to be known "far and wide" of the inadequate shown by the Vitamin Shoppe. This is very unfair. Please spread the word to see if this is addressed. Thank you my professional review.

Later supply of stock and variations of things you may be looking for. For sure recomend stoping here for quick fixes, detox, supplies of good herba and natural medicines.
