Candice Fleszar-Smith: Good place to learn local history of East Grand Rapids, which was a very popular resort area. Located inside EGR library, it holds treasures from bygone days, including pictures and info from Ramona Amusement Park and Poisson Family excursion steamboats. Kenny Greene: Went here with my daughter after her sister's cheer competition! They had a Lego exhibit with a lot of unique builds! Many other exhibits also. samantha dubay: I love this museum! This was the first time I took my child. She had so much fun. If you visit Grand Rapids, this is a must! They have a Planetarium and also a restored, vintage carousel (reserve a time to ride, for free, when you get your tickets) I particularly love the "Vintage streets of yesterday" section where it looks Iike you are walking along a victotian era street at night. Parking is in a garage structure on the same street. It's $22 for the day.

Sébastien Delattre: Un musée municipal, ça vaut vraiment la peine ? Assurément ! Ne passez pas à côté de celui ci, des collections très éclectiques, des momies aux esturgeons ! Particulièrement bien réalisée, la ruelle qui vous embarque un siècle plus tôt dans l'ancien Grand Rapid. Des façades et des intérieurs de magasins, de petits artisans. Superbe !

Audra Marie: People reviewing must not have checked the hours!I didn’t realize this place existed as a museum until I went for a walk this Tuesday evening around 6:30pm!Someone was going in and my partner asked him what the building was and we got a full tour!They’re open 7pm on tuesdays and run the trains on the last Tuesday of the month!This place is a super cool hidden gem!

Lisa Klenk: This unassuming building hides a really, really detailed model railway system. Definitely a labor of love.
Rich Hays: Had never been here before. Walked in and was greated, and treated, like I was an old friend. My son and I were blown away on how large the set up is. Very impressed with how we were treated and showed around. When I am allowed to give ten stars I will!

Joshua Vissers: The guys running this place are friendly and knowledgeable. The model is really cool, too! But just a heads up, they only actually run the trains on the 4 and 5 Tuesdays of the month. The rest of the time they're building.
Michael Leonard: Got to visit this during one of their open houses. Pretty neat model and is a continuing work in progress. The members were friendly and loved answering any questions. Don't be thrown off by the boarded up windows - I think that's just to limit the sun light inside.
Neil Carlson: Wonderful place for kids and adults. These are not just toys--they are preserving the complex skills of scheduling, dispatching, signaling, and more. Must see!

Adam Brehob: It is much smaller than I thought it would be which was slightly disappointing, but the guy working there was very enthusiastic and informative about all the items on display. I hope to see it in the future when it is in it's full glory! Please do support the place if you can for now.

If you are in the area and have a moment you should go.He did not tell me who he read but the man working there seemed a great person and very easy to talk to.I'm only giving 3 starts because it is small and easy to miss, but I think it will be amazing in its new digs! They are still ironing things out so it will be awhile before this happens, but I wish them the best!

a s: Similar review to others, a great place to visit with lots of information, with opportunity to buy original artworks. The space is small, but I had a nice conversation with George, a volunteer who mentioned a larger premises is being scoped out, which would hopfully give them the opportunity to also display their artifacts which are in storage. Some good local history and stories too
T B: Traveled from out of state to visit. I checked the website to confirm days/hours of business, and called the telephone number listed on the website to reconfirm. However, no one answers the phone, and when it goes to voicemail, the mailbox is full.****THANK U for the response. On my way to the airport, i had the opportunity to stop by for a quick visit. Very nice museum.
