We were so lucky to have seen a video that Kobe Apiaries had posted about their calm hives. I could never have imagined being able to put my hand NEAR my hives without gloves. This guy had his gloves off and pretty much had his hand in the hives. Told my husband “that’s what I want!” We contacted Kobe to purchase 2 queens.We met Kobe in a parking lot to get the queens and ended up spending an hour taking to him. Talk about knowledgeable!! We now refer to his posts and videos for our own education! (Not to mention he’s all about data which is what my husband and I both do for our jobs!)Even after we got the queens he has asked often on how they are doing. He messaged us to make sure they were accepted and laying. He also checked in later on to see if our hives chilled out (which they did thankfully!)We continue to communicate with Kobe about our hives whether to share our own data or ask questions. He is always eager to see and hear what others are doing and to share his experience.If we ever need more queens, Kobe is the first one we will go to. I had to buy multiple flavored lip balms because I had to have one for my car, one for my office desk, one for my purse – iykyk. I've also bought their regular organic Michigan honey and their organic spicy honey also from Michigan bees. I've used both the sweet honey and the spiced honey in cooking and in teas and they're delicious. The spicy honey is pretty spicy, so take it seriously, but it's an amazing balance of sweet and spicy. I love all of my Kobe Apiaries products so far and I can't wait to try new products in the future!
