Dan Du Bay: I've multiple policies with Hub Int'l until now. With an increase in the premium for homeowners insurance, I asked Christina Dennis, to shop for alternate coverage and advise. Little to no effort was put forth on Ms. Dennises part (despite the fact she no doubt collects a commission on the premiums paid). At best, I received a clipped and brief email advising there was no comparable coverage available for less money. Not so...after doing research on my own, I found comparable coverage for $300. less than the increased premium and $500. less than the alternate policy Ms. Dennis quoted. Unfortunate experience..... Hub has lost a customer.
Gary M: I have had my insurance with HUB for several years. It started with Global Marine, which was terrific to work with. I was so impressed with them that I switched the rest of my insurance to them. In the last two years or so the service has become quite annoying. Calls are not returned for two or three days. You call the number on the insurance form and they tell you you need to call another number (mind you after leaving a message at the first number their form provided and then waiting a couple days for a return call). Well, I've had enough. I have just cancelled all of my insurance.
