Patterson Ice Center: what do users think?
Kay Schultetus: Very nice arena.
Brad Lentz: Nice facility! Ice was good and the staff was friendly.
Zander Marshall: Very wheelchair accessible, otherwise it's an ice rink
Irie Ethan: Good place with fairly priced food
Audrey Kowatch: We came to go ice skating during the normal hours and everything was locked up.There where lots of people coming, and there was even a little girls birthday party that was supposed to take place. They did reach out, and are trying to make things right.Looks like a cool place, only with a few problems.
Elin Stolz: I would love to say I had a great time but unfortunately I don’t lie. Me and a group of friends were planning on going for a birthday party, but when we arrived the doors were looked but the lights were on which confused us. We went all around the building look for someone to let us in or explain what happened. We even checked their website multiple times for an update of any sort but there was nothing. We were very disappointed with Patterson and will hopefully not be coming back.
Maya Miller: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, honestly never been to a worse one! I never want to go again they ruins it for me. I literally crying in my car. Basically it ruined my 4 year old baby sisters magical first birthday party. IT WAS CLOSED THIS IS HORRIBLE HATE IT NEVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE. I HOPE YOUR HAPPY PATERSON I HOPE YOUR HAPPY!
Samantha Fraser: Patterson is notorious for its dangerous and chaotic public skates. There is no attendant on duty, so the rink becomes a free-for-all. No one follows one direction of skating, so people are constantly running into each other. Parents leave their kids here unsupervised, so children are throwing things, and shoving each other into the walls and into other skaters. People leave the skate aids in the middle of the ice unattended, making the ice an obstacle course. Every time I come here I feel unsafe, and I’m a seasoned skater. They are also known for not sharpening their rental skates, which leads to more accidents. It’s worth the drive to Griff’s or Walker for a better experience.
Shaun Guzman: Nice plate to skate, although, in my opinion, a little too pricey if you got kids. Paid 41 for my wife, 2 kids & I. Didn't even give a kid discount. Everyone pays the same price no matter the age.
Kasey Heimbecker: Our kids have played hockey here for years. Free learn to skate and learn to play days. Regular open ice times, well stocked concessions with alcohol available.
Cal: Enjoyed watching a game. Great facility
Lee Harris: Friendly staff. Well kept ice arena .
Kevin Boluyt: The ice is usually well kept. I enjoy going to stick and puck once in a while to keep up on my skills during off season. Reasonable price as well.
Valerie Sisson: Nice Rink
Reba “SuperMommy82012” Dawn: Admission and skate rental were decent price. Worth it in my opinion. But the skates really hurt our feet. If you're going to go more than once, I'd definitely buy your own pair of skates. Very cool to experience though. They definitely new to invest in more "walkers" for the beginners. Wasn't nearly enough.
Micah Klompien: Enjoyable place for skating!
P Ben: Excellent ice! Friendly staff. Good selection at concessions. SHARP skates!
Thomas Green: Patterson Ice Center is wonderful.
Josh E.: We had a great time during open skate!
Nena Wheaton: Nice rink, clean well staffed. Good experience.
Alexandra Feliz: Apart from not having the right hours for open skating, and having to come back because they were closing at 3 pm when we arrived. The schedule for open skating is not very clear but the concession stands helped us figure it out and we came back at 5 pm for the last open skating time of the day

Kentwood Ice Arena: what do users think?
Sally Nicholas: Grandson hockey tournament
Todd Yeoman: Son's tournament was there and the ice is very well kept and has a nice atmosphere, clean! Much better than the Southside rink.
Rene Torres: Awesomeness
Dan Adams: Awesome rink and easy to get to!
Tanya Fredricks: Took my exchange students to this venue for open skating. Had a blast and will add to list next year for an activity.
Lilly Coykendall: Cold, icy, and slippery. We won, it was good 😊
Erin Ohara: Cool campus
Jason Johnson: The ice and facilities have really gone down hill over the past couple of years.
Angela Pietraszewski: Great for the Friday evening game. Worst refs I ever seen for Saturday morning game.
Robert Volz: Decent area but the ice can be a little soft and stay wet for a long time after the Zam is done
goalman15: No more pro shop, half the doors on the benches don’t open or close correctly and I’m done playing here until they get a new zamboni This place has the worst ice within 100miles
David Cook: Always great to see a hockey match!
Corbin Schumm: Adult Learn to Play is a great program and Coach Ron is great
C. Larmore: This place never ever ever answers their phone. It's a joke. I showed up for a skate it was canceled. Never posted to the internet and they literally haven't ever answered any of my 10 attempts calling them.
Jordan 'Bilbo': Nice public skating! Lots of family come. Pricing is very affordable. A nice, laid-back rink. Would recommend!
Official Von Ruff: Great environment for hockey with the parents energy out weighs the students
Paul Villarreal: Ice sucked
Brent Sandera: A great place to learn the game of hockey.
Jason Goodell: I like the new parking area and players entrance.
Shiloh Ruiz: It's a great place to bring family and enjoy the ice
James Smith: Rink is in very poor condition. Glass fogs up. Parking lot is small, poorly maintained, and unorganized. Overall horrible experience.

Walker Ice & Fitness Center: what do users think?
Doug Miller: Nice skating arena...great ice conditions well maintained. Fantastic fitness center
Max Golec: Good gym
Caroll D.: Scott is a great personal trainer
Julie Bouwens: Clean facility and friendly staff and members
Rich De Graaf: I go there for yoga. Nice work out.
Max G: Great gym, has a lot of equipmentand the monthly price is comparable to most gyms. The building is a little older and definitely looks dated but the quality if the equipment and variety makes it worth it. There's also the ice rink but I don't use it. I recommend this gym.
Jan May: Great facility for exercising. Classes, weight equipment, treadmills etc. Clean and well run.
Nadine Ferris: Awesome 👌
Ethan Schelling: skate free days are awesome, great ice rink
Lexie Adam: Place is pretty old. A lot of the rooms are pretty small compared to the big crowds they receive. For ice skating, not a lot of room to skate compared to the other ice rinks around town. Majority of the skates are either too tight or too loose. This place is only good if you're taking your little kids here, not for teenagers. Concessions sell only small sizes, most likely since majority of the people here are little kids. The pop and snack machines are broken and will just eat your money, use the concessions instead. The walkers to use when skating is pretty much a rusty bar that takes up quite a bit of room. Makes it pretty difficult to dodge little kids when they fall and push those things. Overall, not very impressed with the place at all. If you're going out with a group of friends or practicing on your own, go to the Patterson Ice Center. If you're bringing a group of kids to do something on the weekend, this place is fine for that. To say the very least, I don't plan to come back.
Dan Adams: Very nice ice rink! All the staff were nice and kept the rink very clean!
Kurt M: Great place to skate and workout.
Jenna Quist: This gym is not family friendly.
BFreeman621: Lots of equipment that is well maintained. Staff are friendly, the price isn't bad eitherUpdate after being a member for years: they're still awesome.
Dale: Best value for a gym and meets my needs. I never have trouble finding a machine and the hours and classes are decent. They are cheap and you can do month to month or three months at a time or whatever. They have a decent sauna and nice steam room. I recommend this gym.
Karl Cuncannan: It was my first time there and I thought it was very nice
Shirlene Tanis: The facility is clean and the staff helpful. Nice variety of equipment.
Caleb Curtiss: Great gym, they have everything that I've ever wanted to use. sauna and steam room is a rare thing in this area. Masks not enforced, vaccine encouraged. About $40 per month per person
Fortnite Beast Gaming: Good
Tony Fenlon: Always great ice and friendly staff!
Bhavani Ananthan: Ice skating and fitness gym Available with kids care facility... They do skate sharpen for $5..pro shop with all skate and ice hockey items

Griff's Icehouse at Belknap Park: what do users think?
Deb Grow: Tons of fun with grands
Jeff Ewanio: Heaters work. Here too early for food options.
Leah Mangan: I love Griff's icehouse. They host a lot of games for a variety of teams. Their open skate is also nice to come to. The building is clean and the staff/volunteers are always kind. They have skates available for rent during their open skate days.
Mad Money50: Love watching my son play here! Bring a jacket because it's cold other than that wonderful place to catch a game
ablynx: terrible place, bad service, and bad sport. look at all those poor kids suffering
Joseph Kadzban: Great place to skate - my Home Ice!
Kyler Ensley: My girlfriend bought skates and needed them sharpened. The guy was their doing Maintenence and he went out of his way to get them fixed up for her to skate! The place didn’t open for an hr and half. Nice knowing people still help out when they can! Friendly.
Elizabeth Kirwan: Pretty average and standard rink. Two sheets with separate entrance outside, however you can walk between the two once inside. Parking on the small side as they share lot with field. If anything is going on at the field, parking can be tight. Small concession stand and vending. East rink has one small spectator area behind net, otherwise standing room only. West rink has large bleacher area. Both rinks are super cold and bleachers are metal.
Ryan Welsh: I grew up playing hockey here, never had a single complaint.
Matt Murphy: Great place to go! Good ice and great staff
Jordan Simpson: 2 Sheets of Ice. The remodel is so much improved. Both rinks have nice ice! It is super cold... spectators have heat lamps in certain areas but it is chili so bring warm coats/blankets.
Christopher Burmeister: Need snack bar open
Rich Grant: Matt is just the best!! Keeps the place running like a top
Noah Jacobs: Very nice ice rink I grew up playing hockey here. If you are going to spectate make sure to dress warm as it is a very cold arena.
Greg Freimark: Big locker rooms. Ice is very good. The whole facility runs really cold in the winter...wear your thermals, bring a blanket, or be use a stadium seat...really, anything to keep you warm.
Mark Schwanke: It was chilly so bring a blanket but a decent facility!
Brian Miller: Little cold, ice rink right, but wish more stalls in rest room and bleachers. Courteous parents, and good hospitality.
E K: Great local hockey facility.
Linda Monroe: Love Griffin's youth foundation, my son will be in his second year there.
Adam McLoskey: Best ice in town.
Gary Morris: Great as always, Matt took care of us and arena thank you!
