joe schulte: I got several quotes for attic insulation, ended up choosing VerWys for their competitive price and excellent service. Drew did a great job evaluating our attic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, answered all my questions, and made some good recommendations. VerWys was flexible and able to work around my schedule. Crew was on time, courteous, worked fast, and did a fantastic job. Very satisfied, I highly recommend VerWys.

He spent a good deal of time analyzing the condition of our insulation and educating us regarding insulation options. Roxanne Bennink: I had just bought a home and it needed attic insulation right away. I also talked to other contractors and when I mentioned insulation, they said to go to Ver Wys Home Improvement. I talked to Drew and he came out to access the project. Drew gave me detailed info on what needed to be done. He did not try to sell me "over the top" services, he told me what was reasonable. The cost was less than another quote I got. The crew was excellent. They were on time, worked hard, got done in no time. I especially liked that the crew pointed out items of concern instead of just overlooking them. If they could fix it, they did. If it was something they could not fix, they made me aware. Thank you everyone who worked on the project!! When I'm warm and cozy in my home, I will be smiling and thinking about all of you!!

Drew Fulkerson: VerWys Home Improvement is great! We've worked with them twice now for attic insulation and more recently for side wall insulation. Eventually had to cancel the a part of the project because of their supplier issues and lack of communication. Their prices seem significantly higher after change in ownership.

Robin Noakes: Ver Wys Home Improvement was fantastic to work with to add insulation to our home. Drew came out right away to observe what we wanted done and talk us through what he thought would work best for our needs. Shannon set up appointment times for the different work to be done. All workers were polite and efficient.We had extra insulation added to our attic as well as insulation above our garage which used to be an oven in the summer and a freezer in the winter. Now with the garage ceiling insulated it is actually usable for a workshop.Also included in the work performed was spray foam below our three season room floor and above the patio below. After insulating, soffit was installed to give it a clean look. This insulation was also a life saver as this room was another unusable space most of the year between being extremely hot or extremely cold.I would definitely recommend Ver Wys Home Improvement to anyone looking to insulate areas in their home.
Sam Bender: Outstanding experience working with Ver Wys. Drew came out and investigated our insulation related concerns. He pointed out numerous solutions with the heart of a teacher and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. The job required one crew to do spray foam and one to blow in insulation and add gable vents in two phases. Each crew was prompt, courteous, professional, and cleaned up when complete. Very pleased with the outcome. I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs insulation!
Mike Arents: Verwys was one of four companies I contacted about mold remediation. They were by far the most accurate and professional. They explained how the mold had gotten into my attic (someone less-than-professional had blown insulation into the attic and blocked the baffles that ensured proper ventilation). They explained the process of spraying to kill the mold and then painting to eliminate any effects in simple terms so I could understand it. Their price was extremely competitive, and they offered an optional level of service that would ensure not only that the existing mold was remediated, but that no new mold would form. And they told me that they could get me on the schedule the very next week. Everyone was professional and courteous. I recommend them without reservation.
Heinz Herzog: Ver Wys provided a bid for Soffit Ventilation Repairs. This included cutting openings in current wood soffits, add baffles where needed, and add additional insulation to bring to code.Their crew began work at the the time that was stated. I hired Whitson Insulation to vacuum out the old blown-in insulation before taking the plaster ceiling down. and then install new blown-in fiberglass once the drywall was installed.Great communication every step of the way - they showed up when they said they would, worked hard, and cleaned up before they left (there was batt insulation laid on top of the blown-in insulation and they made sure to bag everything before taking it out of the house to minimize any mess).Price was very fair for the work done. The estimator and crews were professional and courteous.I recommend this company to anyone with insulation needs.
Jared Hills: The customer care this team has is beyond anything I've ever seen from any business. Excellent response time and great communication paired with a quick turn-around and value you'll be hard pressed to find elsewhere. My wife and I would highly recommend this team for any insulation projects you're thinking of. Chad Massel: Met with Mike, who was very punctual in getting an estimate. Listened to my concerns and provided the options to correct the problem. The crew showed up on the scheduled day, who were respectful our our property and friendly. Installed the need soffit venting and baffles to allow the free flow of air. Then proceeded to get my house the need R-value it was missing. It did not take long for us to FEEL the difference. Our two story house HAD an issue with elevated temperature on the second floor, by 8 to 10 degrees warmer. Today, the second floor was actually cooler than the main floor. Laura Jewell: My husband and I live on a fixed income so things are tight. We were in dire need of insulation so I contacted a few contractors to get quotes so I could write for a grant to help us pay for insulation in our attic. At first Mike of MK Insulating was very helpful, until we actually received the grant and he had won the contract. He became harder and harder to get ahold of, he wouldn't return my calls, he eventually made 4 different appointments to do the job and never showed up or called us to reschedule. I called a few times to try to reschedule but never got a response. I finally had my husband call him from his phone and Mike of MK Insulating got right back with him. Mike found out it was actually me and said his phone accidentally blocked my number. We proceeded to make another appointment to have our attic insulation installed, and again no show no call. He then continuously ignored calls from my husband's phone number. Please do not call this contractor. He is not reliable, and he is not honest. It took me several months to write for this grant to help us pay for the insulation, and then to have a company do to us what this one did was terrible. However, after reading a few other reviews I'm glad he didn't do the job.

Nina Ferguson: Worst experience ever! We had Greenfit Homes put in 2 exterior doors. They finished up on Oct.19th, we paid the same day, even we were not happy with the front door, it wasn't aligning with the frame, the latch barely caught the strikeplate and it was leaking air. Leo blamed it on our old house. Later that day we discovered a crack in the frame of the back door, called them, Brandi promised they would come back out on Friday. We waited all day, nobody came. Then they didn't respond to calls or emails, so 2 weeks later we got BBB involved. Since then they made several appointments with us and never showed up. By the end of december they told us they got a replacement door from Jeld Wen and somebody comes on dec 26th or 27th to do the work. Nobody showed up, again, and an automated email from Greenfit told us they are on vacation until january 3rd. Finally on january 9th they sent a subcontactor out to fix the mess, but Greenfit didn't bring the replacement door out, because they can't get into their trailer......one excuse after the other! Now they are back to not answering calls and emails, so frustrating.We also discovered that them experts on insulation cut corners and didn't put any insulation into the doorframe!

Adam Henige: The insulation in my attic was causing major heating and cooling issues in our home. GreenFIT proposed a number of solutions that have made a massive difference. It's 93 degrees right now and I'm perfectly comfortable working in my upstairs office. Last year this room would have been swelteringly hot on a day like this and my AC unit would have been working overtime. Highly recommended!

Samantha Irwin: I had an appointment scheduled, which was canceled because they were having car issues. This was understandable and we had talked about getting a virtual quote. I was told someone was going to reach out within the next few days. I hadn’t heard anything after 5 days, so I called back and was reassured that someone was going to look at it that afternoon and would get back to me. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from them. I was really hoping for the best because they had many good reviews. Unfortunately in my case they really dropped the ball.

Kami Fleese: We live north of Grand Rapids and unfortunately have to heat with Propane. I stopped in one day and the nice pretty lady at the front desk asked about my thermostat. We had an older, barely programmable one. She showed me a new “Nest” model. After speaking with Leo and learning about all its functions, I decided to purchase. I even got a rebate from Great Lakes Energy! Now we’re saving a ton in propane. It’s really neat how a “smart” stat works. And even if I forget to lower the heat if we leave for a weekend... I can do it by the app. Thanks Greenfit Homes. Without being explained how I could save... I never would have thought of just making this small purchase and saving big $!!!!

Michele Miller: I contacted this company to have them come out to inspect the insulation in my home. We set an appointment a week out. On the day of the appointment the office person called to say they were delayed at another job and needed to reschedule. They moved the appointment from Friday to the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and they never showed or called. My husband called and left a voicemail but they did not call back. I called the next day and again spoke with the office person who said she was sorry but she had somehow screwed up and they did not have our appointment on the calendar on Wednesday. She then rescheduled for Friday at 8:30 am. At 8:25 I received a call from the same office person saying they screwed up again and her guys were on their way to another job in Hudsonville. Three strikes and your out. Not impressed and I continue to be amazed at the poor communication some businesses have. Must be they don’t need new customers.
Mac McCabe: We hired Green Fit because we were having problems heating and cooling our 2nd floor bonus room. After 2 other contractors gave us bids to basically remodel our entire room, Green Fit did some tests and pinpointed the problem. They removed the drywall and insulation, installed spray foam insulation, fixed our air ducts and replaced the drywall. What a difference, the room is now useable. The best part is they did everything they said they would do...on time. Great job Green Fit, thanks.
Marlene Bugraph: I hired Greenfit Homes after my house had a major pipe leak. They did flooring, insulation and some painting. They were patient with me and were extremely professional. I think the guys name that I worked with was Leo. He was friendly, honest and a hard worker. He finished the project faster than any other place I could have hired. When the work was done it looked amazing, brand new. I would recommend Greenfit homes to anyone in need of home innovations. Their pricing is great and even if you may not be able to get ahold of them on the first try they get in contact with you almost immediately.
Shannon Maurer: GreenFIT Homes did an amazing job coordinating all of the remodeling for our new office space. There knowledge and assistance was appreciated with our whole building remodeling. We didn't realize the amount of work needed but they did and made it simple and easy for us to understand. The proposal was straightforward and provided all the necessary updates needed. We now have a new furnace and air conditioner. Insulation was added to all the walls, attic, and basement. They also assisted us with drying out our basement so we could store confidential files which we appreciated very much. The building feels very cool in the summer and I know it will be very warm this winter. I enjoyed working with Nate and Leo on the project and would highly recommend hiring their company to assist with your home or small business.

They made an effort to keep it clean, so the carpet and drywall in my basement room was not damaged during the install. The window looks very tightly sealed.
