Dawn William: I've seen a lot of defensiveness from the company regarding their reviews.I called to ask about a repair quote for my husband's saw and the staff scoffed at me as though I was inconvenincing them.Due to this, I will not waste my time nor my funds on this kind of customer service.DKW

Jor Maker: Not impressed. Brought a chainsaw in to be serviced/ repaired, the cost was not worth fixing it. I was going to use it for parts until they wanted a $55.00 fee for looking at the saw and informing what needed repair. They can keep it !LBIn response to four seasons reply. It's not that your time isn't worth anything...it would be understandable at 25.00. I feel 55.00 is pricey for a 15 to 30 minute diagnosis.

Matt Fleser: customer service in the service department stinks. 3 yrs ago I bought a John Deere gator from a private individual. Over these 3 yrs I have had 4 seasons do over $7000 worth of work and labor on my machine. Now this week, I had the same Gator in for a repair. The stater and rectifier are faulty and need to be replaced. OEM parts are over $800 & labor is just over $500. They refused to install non oem parts even though in the past, they had installed non OEM parts that I bought online. Service manager said they still refused, even if they did it before. Said that would void their 90 warranty and I told them I would sign off to their warranty to get my machine repaired and still after spending $1000's of dollars in repairs here, they were not willing to work with me. instead they would rather give up all future work. After a few calls, I found a small engine guy, that said, he would do it and warranty his work. My other farm has John Deere lawn equipment and that work will start getting done by someone else too. No more!Don't go here for repairs unless you have deep pockets and love giving money away.

Tom Goris: They have lost my business-horrible business practices. I bought and paid in full for a bagger system for a mower I had bought from them a few months earlier. It took them 11 months to fill the order for the bagger. I was never informed when it came in, I’ve been calling regularly. When it gets there, they were incredibly rude, claimed I cancelled my order, then demanded additional $80 payment and refused to refund my original payment. Horrible customer service and predatory business tactics.

Matt Mead: I brought my zero-turn Bobcat mower in for service 6 times in last 4 years spending $4,300 in repairs mostly all related to the same issue leaking oil out of the heads. Each time I bring it back they inform me that it's either just out of warranty from the last time they fixed that problem or that the problem is just different enough from the last time that it's considered a different repair issue.Of course the mower is leaking oil... again after only 12 hours since the last repair. Again they're telling me that it likely won't be covered under warranty. I had them look up the service record on the mower and told them with as much money as I've spent on this machine and as many times as I've had it in I would like to think that they would work with me to get it fixed... again.. to which they declined.The way I've been treated by the service department has been very poor and their willingness to work with me given the amount of money I've spend means I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Jonathan Deur: I will never go back here again. This was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The guy on the phone actually started yelling at me when I asked him if the part for my mower came in. He made me feel awful for calling and asking. When I went in to finally pick up the part for my mower, the employee never made eye contact with me and never showed any sign of appreciation for using their services. I've been here once before and must say that the customer service was awful then as well. My wife overheard the conversation on the phone and was appalled by how rude and angry the employee was as well.I would recommend you never go here for anything. If you want to be appreciated go to another store. If you enjoy being intimidated , yelled at, and experiencing bad customer service then this is your place.

Jim delivered both pieces of equipment and both times he was out he spent time going over controls/operations and set-up.

Tim Huffman: I had my older lawn tractor picked up after running over a piece of aluminum edging and doing damage to the bagger impeller. Since it would be in for repair, I also requested annual service. After 10 days of hearing nothing, I contacted Greenmark Jenison and was told they were backed up and maybe next week they could examine it to see what problems it may have. This concerned me because it had already been at Greenmark for 10 days. After expressing my concern and explaining I had no means to cut my lawn, I received a call within two hours and my machine had already been inspected. We agreed on what would be done and at what cost. To my surprise, everything g was completed and my tractor delivered today which is one day later. Their response to my needs and prompt attention gave me great satisfaction of this company. I highly recommend but make certain you know timing because they have a lot of business. Great job Greenmark Jenison.

chris proxmire: I was sent to this location by an older gentleman that I have great respect for. He had purchased all of his tractors and had all the maint. done at this location. I obviously went with high expectations when I took my deere there. Boy was the reseption and service I received the exact opposite of my expectations.They more than doubled my quote. Never called and asked or even informed me of the work needed. Was more than 2 weeks late on the estimated delivery time. And now I have no brakes even though they were working on the drive train, and I was told they do not know why. They "tried" to adjust them and cant figure it out. Totally unethical company. As they tried to convince me of the great deal they gave me for taking some labor time off the bill after I complained that I wasnt even given the choice if I wanted the work done. Avoid at all cost. If you didnt buy you deere from them and arent part of their good old boy network, Goodluck.**UPDATE**After speaking with Mark and the service dept. We found that the employee that worked on my mower, was not employed within weeks of working on my mower for "various" reasons. We came to the conclusion that management was not aware of my brake issues and I could have communicated like an adult.With that said I commend Mark and the team for reaching out and fixing the brake issue and making this whole.Thank you,

Ron Killian: Been looking for a new lawn tractor. After alot of research I picked out a specific John Deere model. Went to the Holland dealership but wasn't what I expected. The sales person was not all that enthusiastic to help us. Took him a couple minutes to get out of his chair. Sadly he could not answer some simple questions. With my limited research I seemed to know more than the guy who sells them. He wasn't rude, was friendly enough, but didn't seem to real care if he sold us something or not. Unfortunately they did not have the model I wanted. Actually did not have many to even check out. Understandable being summer and with COVID and all that. He said they had some coming in, but said they would probably all get sold. So it was like we needed to buy it sight unseen, or we might not get one. I don't know about any one else, but spending 5K+, I would like to at least see what I am getting. He did check in back to see if there was one in for service, but nothing. Not his fault or the dealers fault, just the times right now. It was not a terrible experience, just should have been better. I ended up going to a local dealer and buying a Simplicity and absolutely love it. Actually kind of glad he didn't sell us.

After dreaming of owning a John Deere lawn tractor for several years, I finally got the nod from my wife to go ahead and get one. I went to the John Deere website and decided that the X370 model (gotta have that power steering!) was what I wanted. I customized a quote request and after submitting it I was soon contacted by Chris Streling from GreenMark Equipment, Inc. He was very friendly and professional, and helped to get my order moving forward. Even though Chris started a few days of vacation, shortly after I placed my order, he remained in email contact with me and answered a few questions about accessories that I had. Even though I was told that it would be a week or two before my tractor would be delivered, I was delighted when GreenMark called just a few days later to tell me my tractor was ready and would be delivered that morning. I love my new X370 lawn tractor, and I couldn't be happier about my experience with GreenMark Equipment, Inc. I am confident that they will also provide reliable service for my tractor, when needed, and I look forward to continued business with them going forward. A big thank you to Chris Streling and the rest of the team at GreenMark, and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for great products and excellent customer service.

Paul Pek: I bought a brand new X350 lawn tractor through them. The mower's pto clutch went out after 0.3 hours of use. It was hard to get through, and finally got repair scheduled several days later. They said they would have any parts needed on-hand, but they didn't, so had to come back later in the day. The service tech forgot to tighten the new part, and it banged around my brand new mower. To top it off, the driver flew into my circle asphalt driveway with his huge truck and drove off the edge and damaged my asphalt. The worse part is we have been sending emails and making phone calls for weeks, and nobody is returning our call or doing anything to fix our driveway or inspect our mower for damage from the faulty repair. I would never go back to this dealership. They were great during the sale process, but their follow-up service is awful. Very unhappy customer right now.

Spent another 20min outside by the tractor I was interested in (the windows in the sales office clearly see the lot) and was not approached by anyone.
Tom H: Since tomorrow is my birthday, I thought I would treat myself to a few goodies. So today stopped in at GreenMark in Kent City to get a tune-up kit for my X320 (that I bought there) a new seat cover (because we all know they crack after 3 months) new blades, a hat, gloves and a new jacket. Unfortunately, I left it all on the shelf because the parts guys were wearing masks around their chins and the salesperson (who was talking to an older gentleman with a mask) didn't have a mask on.I like to buy my stuff from the local guys, but if they don't care enough about my safety to wear a silly mask, then Amazon it is.
Xtree Trimmer: Went in to get a mower and got a good inlightment on what I thought I needed to what I needed to do the job and thankfully the sales guy took the time to explain each unit and the ability each one does in turn this gave me a chance to look at the purchase that would work best for the job I needed done and the budget for the long term, so hay i suggest go to a real John deere dealer for your equipment because all of your big box stores will not give you the time of day thay will take you money and lie like hell , justin at greenmark in Kent city really did go the extra to help me and for this I will always from now on go thire for all my yard and garden tool needs best of all the customer service is outstanding 2nd TO NO ONE thay put customer satisfaction 1st so good shopping
