Lori Vanderwall: 10 years ago, I would have told someone I had the best experience, I did refer Dr Keil to a friend, and she did get Lasik.Before the procedure, there is a form you fill out. On the form, it has the option for LIFETIME COVERAGE for an additional fee. I opted for this coverage.As I said 10 years ago, I had Lasik surgery done by Dr Keil. I was elated when it was all done, and I could see without glasses! Following the procedure, there are a couple of follow-up exams, I was told at that time I had 20/15 vision. I did explain to Dr. Keil that my right eye seemed to have a "blurry spot," he said, it should heal itself.Fast forward to 12/13/2022. ( I would have written this sooner, but my dad passed away a few days after my appointment). My husband Mike and I made an appointment for the exam. They escorted me back into a room for a complete eye exam, I thought this was odd since I was there with a complaint and wanted to use the lifetime coverage that I had originally paid for. I finally get to see a doctor (not Keil) I was told that because I am now over 50, they don't recommend Lasik and said I would need another procedure that wouldn't be covered by the lifetime coverage, I was told it would be over $4000.00.Now I said I am over 50, I turned 50 in October 2022, and my appointment was in December. You could literally count how many days past 50 I was. I came home, looked at my coverage, and nowhere did it say ANYTHING about being over 50 years old and not doing a correction surgery.I have heard several times on the commercials that there is a free consultation... NOT! They wanted us to pay $250.00 each for the exam. I promptly reminded them I was an existing patient, and I was there for an issue with my eye. I refused to pay it.I completely had 2 different experiences walking out of the Keil office.My advice is to shop around.

M K: Stellar experience. Received PRK about two years ago. Vision is 20/20 and going strong. Definitely research the post-op care with PRK (dry eyes, pain, etc) and you'll need some time off, but the subsequent lack of needing contact lenses and glasses is really life-changing. Day of the procedure was seamless and the clinic was very responsive when I needed to come in once or twice for excessively dry eyes. If you're shopping around for someone to trust your eyesight with, would recommend.

A change in prescription lenses won't help it. She referred me to Dr. Conlon for his evaluation. He will decide if I need cataract surgery. I appreciate how she has monitored the cataracts. I recommended her to my brother. He also thinks she is great.

L C: All employees are friendly. The doctors are fantastic. Our problem is there should be a surgical place closer. The drive is awful unless you live close to East Beltline and we don't.
