Jeff Dault: Used a competitor for 2 years. Wasn't happy and almost didn't use anyone else thinking they would all be the same. Wow, I was wrong! I cannot imagine the experience being much better, unless it were free. I appreciate them and my lawn is happy. Communication is top notch. They actually help with the overall care of your lawn, not just feed it. They notice xyz, and offer solutions without being pushy, and tell you after each visit what exactly they saw. THIS is exactly what I thought I should be able to expect, and I found it with AAA. Give them a try. For the cost and time to get and spread fertilizer, its really not that much more. Time is money. Vic Little: I've had them for several years treat my lawn for weeds fertilizer and moles.. I wish I could say I thought my lawn looked great and plump and nice. I don't know if it's us or them but I have huge dry patches scorched ground the lawn looks anemic, still struggling with three different kinds of weeds.

Not the point of the service and It didn’t go away last year after watering extra. Extremely frustrated and will be looking for a new service next year! C P: The employees are incredibly kind and responsive, but we had six diseased trees planted by them. When the trees couldn't be saved, six new trees were planted at their expense. Immediately the new trees were also discovered to have dying areas (confirmed by the arborist/tree treatment company that TLC told us to hire at our own expense), but TLC only replaces their products once. We now have to pay to have six, fairly mature trees removed (a second time) and replaced by six new trees purchased elsewhere, which will cost us thousands of dollars. TLC said they will notify their nurseries of the diseased trees, but they will not refund or replace the six, almost-dead trees they planted in our yard a second time (and no other trees in this area of our yard are diseased, affected, or requiring an arborist/tree treatment company).Update 2023: After consultation with an attorney, Tender Lawn Care agreed to refund the cost of the diseased trees and labor as well as other work they have done for us. They have very kind employees, but they were not willing to replace trees that were infected with a virus (2021) and replacement trees infected with both a virus and insect infestation (2022) or offer a refund until legal counsel was obtained. We sincerely appreciate the refund though, and we are now able to hire different landscapers.Service:Landscape design

I will say my yard didn’t look that good with them doing the fertilization program, it was literally yellow even though i had a sprinkler system following a strict schedule. I wasn’t happy with their service and I ended up canceling my services with them.Fast forward… getting ready for spring of 2023.I called to get an estimate on lawn mowing and getting some front yard work, but apparently Tender Lawn Care refused to offer services to my property saying “we’re not a good fit for you.” That’s absolutely fine, but wow…. What kind of business refuses customer or have such customer service….I just want to say, thank you for showing me what kind of company you guys are. Joe Mckenzie: We reached out to Tender Lawn to bid a landscape project around our back yard and pool area. We have never used Tender Lawn Care for work in the past but loved the way they bid the job with pictures of our yard and how it will look when they complete the work. Every step of the way they were professional, responsive, and took care of a few small issues we asked about after the job was complete. Given the amount of work they did I was shocked that the minor issues, which were more of a mutual mistake of communication between us, was the only thing we needed to address with them. Andy came out and immediately got back to us and they are taking care of the items at no charge. Over the course of my service with them my lawn became worse and I was given no solutions on how to fix. Kent Handelsman: This referral service started out great. But their referred parties do the bait and switch, great job once, then not. Then they next referred provider bails on the last day of their committed deal. Idea is interesting, but they have no controls over whom they send. We had to fire them.P.S., LawnStarter said they would be in-touch, which has not occurred. When I messaged them on their app (there is no support phone number) the auto-response email said I should allow 3 days for a reply. Then I would be 14 days without lawn care. ;-(

Eric B.: I would not recommend this company. I contacted them and they incorrectly thought I only wanted just a one-time service and then they blew me off. Then when I asked another question about their service via email they were actually rude in their response and reminded me they sternly reminded me that they already gave me another service I should contact. I guess I was taking up too much of time through email. If they would have let me tell them more, I would have informed them that I was only explaining my current need. I actually "would" have been interested in every service they offer since I hire many a group of companies for all my other services. It would have been nice to have 1 service do everything. I guess they don't have time to listen to requests that sound like they are not worth their time and they pick and choose their clients. It's ok I will EASILY find another dime a doze lawn care service lol.

In one case my family member was outside their service area and they took the time to find her the right company to use. Reed, Amanda and the rest of the crew are just awesome people and I can't recommend them enough.
Tom Curtis: Have used Hoffman Lawn care now for 3 years for my fertilization and fall leaf clean up. His team does an excellent job. I am especially thankful for the fall leaf clean up. This job used to take me 60+ hours to do myself in the cold and sometimes drizzle. Now I just come home and its done. With all the hours I work, it is well worth the cost.

Rick Cox: I had four trees removed from my backyard this winter. They did a great job. Reasonable price... It was freezing that day and they did a compete job including clean up. VERY satisfied.

Cindy Soto-Keenan: Although it was nice speaking with Caleb on the phone the fall clean up that we hired them for was not cleaned up. When I came home the back yard was still full of leaves and acorns. the leaves were not blown of the deck or the yard. I spoke with Caleb on the phone and he did not see what the problem was. We will find another lawn service to finish this job... we are very disappointed.
Ginger Stegmier: Nate Carlson has been taking care of my lawn for years - he does a good job and is very reasonable. When I've had questions or issues, which invariably there are when you're working with someone for years, they've been resolved with a phone call or quick 'coaching' note. More recently Nate adding snow plowing to his services, and again, he was prompt and efficient and reliable at a fair price. I'd recommend his work to anyone in the Whispering Pines area.
Don Bratt: Nate Carlson has given us SUPERIOR SERVICE this past winter plowing our driveway. He is always there when you need him and is fast and efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Matt Lilley: Paid $50 for a single cut visit. They did mow the areas I specifically mentioned, but left a large portion of the lawn unmowed and not string trimmed. I sent an email questioning if they mowed and received a response full of excuses and claiming I just have a lot of weeds, and they mowed super high and if I wanted more they would have charged more.. Sigh... where is integrity now days.
