Richey Rock: The tour was very interesting and informative. Lots of history and neat interactive displays. All the screens in the control room are a sight to see. Amazing structures and so many pipes - it's no wonder computers are needed to help keep track of it all. Quite a big difference from the old power plant!

Dirk Bremer: Took a tour of the visitor center on 04-27-2018. There are several banks of windows in the visitor are that allow glimpses of the control room and the turbine room. There are several interactive display setup that explain the history and principles of operation. I felt that the displays catered to the non-technical, luckily for me, there was a representative on hand specifically for the tour that was able to answer all of my technical questions. Taking the tour will give you some insight into how the $250 million was spent.

J. G.: Worked there from 1991 until 1997. Today 1/19/2016 would have been my 25 yr. anniversary. Should have listened to the guys and STAYED! Biggest mistake of my life. Best bunch of guys in the world worked there at the time and I'm sure the smart ones still do. I think of you all every day and wish I had a time machine to go back to the day I left. If you're interested in having me back, I still could do the job with my eyes shut. Enjoy the new combined cycle power plant. Gas turbines with waste heat recovery boilers. Awesome machines!
