Nathan Klok: I had recently bought a windshield wiper on a very, very low budget and you get what you get. I left a great review from the last O’Reilly store in Jenison.I had to replace the cheap one I bought so I went to O’Reillys on Plainfield. Only have enough for the cheap one excuse me, so Nevin put on the windshield wiper for me, and It did not fit proper to the windshield. Without hesitation we went back inside, and he took care of the situation, making a very happy customer leaving a review right now to tell you not to hesitate to go to O’Reilly’s auto parts if you want professional help with auto care.
Shawn: Awful service! Came in to get a small hose for a moped. The young man with blond hair came out with a hose and I said it was wrong and he got upset because it’s not just about the outside diameter has to equal it’s the inner diameter of the hose that counts. I’m certified mechanic and was trying to teach him a little bit and he got really upset. Told me to take the new hose he cut and leave without paying for it. I use O’Reillys for my business. I’ve always had good service, but I will never be returning again to any O’Reilly service for the attitude service, and just to tell me to walk out with something without paying for it..

What really sells me is that you take the few extra moments to help to customer find the stock. O'Reilly Auto Parts takes the stress out of having to find and buy car parts!

Andy Chatel: It's 5:30pm Monday and car dies. Battery is died. I managed to get to O'Reilly's on Plainfield. Went in and ask if they could sell me a battery and install in my car. Young guy before the counter said let's take a look. Said it says difficult. Takes a look and my battery was covered in battery acid crystals. Said he could do it. It was a little harder than it looked but after a few trips back inside to get different tools. He changed it. Got it looking like new and got me on my way. Got a customer for life.

Jacob Willis: My lugs sheard off sat afternoon pulling out of there lot and I talked to an employee if it was fine to leave it in the parking spot till I get it figured out he said that was fine and well Sunday i get everything ordered for it to get it fixed and a 5pm on Sunday they called a tow truck and had my truck impounded at 6pm I just got everything to get it out of their parking lot today, but come to find out they towed it. Why tell me one thing, then do the exact opposite. I'm very disappointed with that, and I should have just driven it on the road 100 more yards to my house and paid for a new rotor then to trust someone's word. But what did i expect that's the O'Reilly way.

Sam Yost: Horrible, tried calling of the work phone and some dude answered and he was just mumbling and talking super light so I asked him to speak up and he said one second then puts me on hold and I sat there for 10 minutes so I tried calling off my cell phone, same guy answered and I asked him my question again and then I got no answer back it just sat there quiet for 4 minutes so I hung up and have been trying to call back multiple times and now they just won’t answer. HORRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER be using O’Reillys for my business again.

I had taken them to my car and showed them what I needed but they just weren’t experienced. I specifically asked them to order all parts I needed. Asked them to look in their data base and I was assured I only needed what they ordered.Didn’t come across as a team effort work environment. Reordered what I needed on Amazon. I was very disappointed.Everyone was very nice to work with but just having to try to get my parts at another place. Basically pay twice. Should have gone to Amazon to begin with. Try to shop locally.

Ended up having a bad battery so had to purchase a new one. Could've easily said no, but Todd went above and beyond. Very satisfied!

His first priority was to help me out and that’s what he did. His attitude was great and he made me feel appreciated to be a customer. The other young man working. Wes was also very professional. There are more part and tool rental varietied at O'Reilly's. Advance Auto needs to do a better job hiring employees. They dont need to be mechanics but at least have a passion for automobiles.

Greg Bisson: Austin at the 5213 Lake Michigan Dr store in Allendale, MI went above & beyond to help my me as a Dad trying to get my daughter's headlight bulb replaced when she is 3 hours from home. Austin found the part needed when I called the store and was able to quickly install the bulb for her when she arrived. I was grateful for his help and giving me the peace of mind that she could get it taken care of quickly without having to find someone else or taking her car to a shop for the repair.
