Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium at the Grand Rapids Public Museum: what do users think?
Kim Pawloski: Just went Tuesday with my kids and grandsons. Had a wonderful experience. If you get Pat, who is a retired teacher, you're in for a treat. Shes a wonderful narrator, she really knows her stuff!
Jessica Short: The show was great in the planetarium and the staff was so wonderful with all the kids!!
Michael Schippers: A great experience.
MacWell Eastwood: This place is outdated. Plain and simple. Wouldn’t recommend. The Pink Floyd light show was so boring and the effects looked like they came from a 90’s computer screen saver.
M. M: Way too loud. Was so loud it literally made my ears hurt. Plus the show is pretty boring honestly. It’s just like a music video in space.
Jennifer Medina: DONT GET THE CORNDOG! It’s dry and gross :(. Other than that, this place is pretty cool
Sophia Gates: It was so much fun with all my little kids they enjoyed it so very much
pauline Sandoval: Narration was tideous. Might be helpful to have music break up segments. Photo and lighting excellent.
tattoo king: Kids love exploring
John W: Concerts under the stars!!!! Amazing.
Sel: The pink Floyd laser light show was awesome. I would gladly see it again.
Jen Cullimore: Pink Floyd laser light show was amazing!
Miranda Thomas: It was awesome!!
Eric Sherfield: Wonderful time at the GR public museum go during the week less crowded and popnology is a trip back in time along with Sci-Fi fan's of all kinds. 3 floors to check out at the museum prices are very reasonable and the planetarium is great for adults and children highly recommend
Jeannie Darling: The show was great. The seating was not. in an effort to maintain social distancing, entire rows of seats were roped off. This led to sitting right next to strangers with an empty row next to you. Half capacity is great, but the illogical way they tried to do made everything worse!
Brandy Kolhoff: Love It💜
Cindi Mitchell: It was amazing and beautiful!
David Alex: Loved it!
Jason Rebarchik: Fun, educational, good for kids and adults.
Tiberius Galloway: If you haven't been, go. If you know people that haven't been, take them!
Dave Swett: Awesome. Grandson loved it!

James C. Veen Observatory: what do users think?
Peter Ross: A wonderful night to enjoy the stars with fellow astronomy buffs. Loved every moment.
sheena Vaughan: Very knowledgeable and kind staff and volunteers and beautiful setting with nice and clear telescopes.
Laura Casaletto: A bit hard to find, especially in the dark. Really fun to go to the monthly open houses. The GRAA members are generous with their knowledge and equipment. DO bring bug spray. Now there are nice hiking trails too.
Jesse Vanderski: Very cool super nice club members got to see Jupiter and Saturn
Brittany foxsinsox: How did I not know this was here all this time?? Lovely team of people that were helpful, educational, and kind. We got to see Jupiter and Neptune with four of its moons! :) The dome rotating was kind of interesting, too! I love that people bring their own telescopes out and it seems to become a beautifully dark, peaceful, interesting social gathering. The lights along the path to get to the grounds were enchanting to walk along as well.
Brandon Rapp: Took the family here on an open public night. So much fun; the kids really liked it too! We will definitely be back!Update: We went back and it was great! All the volunteers are super helpful and informative astronomers. We enjoyed seeing various objects in the night sky, including planets, star clusters and the ¼ moon. Def coming back!
Amanda Dine: We went on the evening for a school trip, and the Observatory folks were so knowledgeable and shared a ton of details and facts as we were exploring the sky
Stephen Strobel: Although the skies were not very clear tonight, the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Lots of stuff to do even if you can't see the stars to the telescope
James Luetkemeyer: Absolutely amazing! Wonderful history of the place, amazing equipment, and an absolute pleasure to be around the people. My daughter and I had a wonderful tour and unforgettable memories of exploring the night sky. Huge thank you to Tom Good.

Ivan Esquivel: Great experience and very frendly people guiding you to have a good time.
Paul Jacobson: What a wonderful experience. A little tricky navigating some of the toads and parking, but the views from the telescopes (especially Saturn's rings) made it worth the drive.
Dawn Hansen: This place is awesome!!! We got to see Saturn and Jupiter. The GRAAA volunteers are very informative.Definitely will go back.
Cocoa Brown: I love it there. It's beautiful. The volunteers are extremely helpful, personable and knowledgeable.Never thought to have a night time picnic under the stars while there but many others did. Definitely doing that next time.
