hannah labardee: I had to speak to the emergency line to find out they are closed from 12-1 for lunch, and was told they may have forgotten to turn their phones back on since it’s now 1:22 and still getting the voicemail that says they are closed. This is the third day in the last month I’ve called them (non holidays/weekends) and gotten the we’re closed voicemail during normal business hours with no explanations. Super frustrating

Mike Hewitt: Receptionist would not put her mask over her nose! She was rude! Waited for the Doctor for an hour! Didn’t even look at my mouth Just looked at my X-rays that my dentist send and said that there was nothing they could do for me! Won’t be going back there again. The bright spot was the hygienist who was very kind and understanding. Too bad the rest of the office doesn’t follow here example!

Meghann Rauser: They were nice people but my appointment took 2 hours long when it really should have only been 30 minutes at most. I was just going in for a consultation for the surgery and to find out the price. First, there are dozens of offices listed as “oral surgery associates” so morning of I was struggling to remember which one it was. I never received a call or text to confirm my appointment or where the office was. So the lack of communication was frustrating. Even the office i went to by mistake was surprised no one contacted me.After 45 minutes of waiting out front I finally made it into a room where a nurse explained the procedure for me. Then said we would have to wait for the doctors consultation before they could give me an estimated price. So I waited another 50 minutes for the doctor to come in, confirm that the surgery would go ok and reiterate what the nurse said and walk out. He was probably in my room for 4 minutes max. I feel like his consultation wasn’t needed and especially to wait almost an hour for that. Was not pleased with their process.

Benjamin S: Needed to have two extractions. Entire team were more than helpful with an expanse of knowledge they lovingly yet professionally shared. If needed, i would absolutely go back for another oral surgery.

The actually procedure was quick and painless.All staff was incredibly friendly and I would definitely recommend OSA on East Paris. :)

Jacob Bruinius: I needed my wisdom teeth taken out, so my dentist referred me here. They got me in quickly and were able to accommodate appointment rescheduling (twice). They did bill the wrong insurance (medical instead of dental) for the initial consult, but this was pretty quickly sorted out (it happens). The waiting area and office looked nice and the office staff were very pleasant. Almost no wait time! Indications, risks, benefits, etc. for the procedure were presented and discussed in detail. The surgery itself with Dr. Bezak went great! Nice guy, no complications. And this is coming from someone with a lot of anxiety concerning dental procedures. Pain control post-op was good and the after care instructions were pretty clear. Couldn't really ask for much more!

Warm Breeze: CAUTION!I was referred to Oral Surgery Associates P.C. Because I had an extraction done which after I needed emergency care. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist rudely told me to “go back to where I had the extraction done” she also said “no one here would see me.”Because the receptionists (front desk) sets the tone for the public and because she was un-empathetic, rude and seemed to be in a rush to push me away I feel this organization is likely tainted throughout and will NOT be perusing any Oral surgery needs with them; nor I be referring anyone to them.

Shelby “Pancake” Simington: Had my wisdom teeth out here. The surgery went great and recovery has been shockingly amazing. However, the people aren’t at all personable. I had Dr. Dingman (I think that was his name), and he barely said 2 words to me. Also they didn’t warn me when they gave me the anesthesia. I just all of a sudden got dizzy and blacked out. Thought that was weird. I’d appreciate a heads up. If I needed another surgery, I’d go somewhere else.

James Villar: DISHONEST COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They incorrectly informed my family member (who is on a fixed income) that their insurance would cover a procedure. Their admin office botched the billing and communication and tried to force them to pay out of pocket, a huge amount for someone who is living on a fixed income. Instead of doing the right thing and fully reimbursing my family member for their mistakes, they only returned half. It's hard to believe that this company is struggling for money enough to steal from their customers, especially who are in a vulnerable situation. I am disgusted.

Nicholas Bobeldyk: I had to wait a little bit for my appointment, but this is never a concern because I expect this at virtually every visit I make to an office. I was very nervous about having oral surgery for the first time, but Dr. Bezak was very aware of this and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and understood what they were doing to my teeth. Recovery three months later is great, and billing process was smooth.

Mike Alkema: My son was home on Spring Break last week. He had a regular appointment scheduled at our dentist on Wednesday morning. The dental x-ray showed his wisdom teeth needed to be extracted. I called Oral Surgery Associates that afternoon. They obtained the xray from our dentist, got an estimate to me, and scheduled him for extraction on Friday morning the same week.We arrived at the scheduled time. The reception staff was attentive and welcoming. We watched the pre-surgery video, signed the papers, and he was on his way. The surgery itself was as expected. My son reported that he didn't remember a thing other than waking up in recovery area. We have had zero issues with the surgery other than the things we were told would happen when the teeth were removed. By Sunday he was up and moving back to CMU a bit swollen and sore as expected. Very happy with the service they provided.

They were professional and made me feel at ease. he's a great dentist. I have to wait at every doctor's appointment I'm at so no point in complaining about that. Not sure why there are even bad reviews here, I couldn't see how it's possible. Staff provided me with all instructions I needed and had appointments available on the same day for me. 10/10 would recommend this office to anybody who needs oral surgery.

Generally when getting any kind of work done you are always nervous going into it and no one wants to get work done... I especially don't like needles at all. I had explained it to the assistant and she had told me that the doctor was one of the best at what he does. When meeting the doctor he was super friendly and personable and answered all my questions. He then talked me through everything he was doing as he did it. We got the tooth removed, he walked me through the steps to keep it clean and taken care of to avoid infection and I was done. Like I stated before, no one really wants to get teeth pulled or work done like this. But if you have to I HIGHLY recommend this location. Outstanding service and work. Thank you all again!

C D: Dr. Grinzinger treated me HORRIBLY. He lied to me and told me he would follow up with me and then cancelled my appointment for no reason. He refused to follow up without a reason, when I NEED teeth pulled and a biopsy done. He doesn't want to help me and wants me to suffer in horrific pain. He and his office staff should be ashamed with how they treated me. This office treated me so badly. He has a horrible office manager, and she was withholding information about MY OWN MEDICAL INFORMATION which is illegal. She refused to tell me which endodontist he spoke with and they did so without my consent. I will be following up with this and taking it further. You treated me HORRIBLY Dr. Grinzinger, and made my situation that much worse. You were completely dishonest. You had told me you could take the teeth out, gave me hope, and then took it all away. You are a cruel person. You could absolutely be pulling these teeth that I need out LIKE YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD and doing a biopsy to help me, but you don't want to help me and would rather me be in pain. He won't talk to me about my own medical care, which I have asked repeatedly to speak to him regarding. I am going to have to go in person, and I live far away. I am SO upset with him and this office. They are treating me like I'm invisible and not a human being, which I do not deserve. I deserve to be communicated with and get the care I need and deserve and be spoken to honestly and compassionately.

They gave me some medicine to help me sleep the night before and to be calm before my appointment. I couldn’t feel a thing but my anxiety was still high, no fault of theirs. I’m definitely coming back here to get my top ones removed some day as well.

Loren Trute: I was worried because of some of the reviews, but they far far far exceeded expectations for my 3.5 year old son who needed a tooth extraction. Not only were they incredibly nice and professional, Dr. Novelli couldn't have been better with my son, and they were able to extract the tooth on the first visit, without the use of general anesthesia. They could have done an oral liquid medication on the next visit, but my son was able to cooperate without it, just with local numbing and we got it done in minutes. They explained everything thoroughly for his recovery. My son is doing great, I would highly highly recommend Dr. NOVELLI AND HIS AWESOME ASSISTANT. I honestly couldn't be happier, as no other dentist out of 5 would even pull his tooth.Thank you, Dr. NOVELLI.Also, wait time was minimal.

Andrew Lablonde: Dr. Baker and Asst. Cody made this an amazing visit. It is without any hesitation that I give them and the reception staff the highest possible positive recommendation! If I need any work in the future I will be back.

Marcus Brown: Worst experience of my life.. went in for emergency tooth extraction.. waited 2 hours. Rushed to get there from work. For them to tell me my insurance covers all but $57. They wouldn't see me if I didn't pay. Normally places bill you after service. They told me just bring ID. And insurance card.. nothing about payment up front.. terrible

Rachel Smith: I had a recent wisdom teeth removal appointment here. Dr. Makovey was nice and professional, however, the majority of the staff were not. I called 2-3 times to clarify questions I had about my prescriptions and was consistently interrupted. I did not receive any answers, so I called again later. One staff member audibly sighed at me and expressed feeling frustrated with my questions. I eventually drove to the center in person to discuss it. I felt so neglected that I almost canceled my appointment.(After the procedure, I did also notice a scratch down the side of my face from my mouth- possibly from a tool slipping.)Did not present as a comforting or safe-feeling environment.

Angela Hutchison: They were extremely rude and refuse to see my son because they wanted more x-rays that were not needed!!! Wasted my time & gas...

Norline Ezell-Trent: Horrible experience. Me and my son walked in and no greeting not friendly. We were at the window for almost 3 mins before anyone said anything to us. I always have had great experiences at other offices near there. Staff should be more equipped to people no matter what they look like.

Paul Hitchcock: Very good experience overall. Office staff, from phone calls to in office visits, have been very upbeat and pleasant to talk to. Dr, Makovey is obviously a people person, easy to talk to, informative, and knowledgeable. Unlike many, or most oral surgery practices, they are in network with my insurance. Their office has been under construction/remodling for awhile, but their new space is very nice, and will no doubt be great when all is completed. If you need an oral surgeon, here’s a good one.

Natasha Malone: Dr Igor Mackovey and his assistant were awesome! I have to admit I was nervous because of the reviews. But!! Office staff was helpful. I expresses I was a wreck and nervous..they both made me comfy. I had an implant and an extraction. Day 1

My dentist referred me to this hole in the wall buried in Cascade for my wisdoms to be removed.I called to set up this appt sometime last month or the month before. Telling them that my Xrays and everything should have been sent to them, and that it should be 3 being removed. The woman scheduled me and I told her that I do NOT handle any type of dental environment well and that I expected, in my words, "the full monty" to alleviate any nervousness and/or anxiety about having my wisdoms removed.The woman TOLD ME I would need a driver.That was that.I scheduled to take 2 days off of work for it, my husband scheduled to take the day off of work to drive me (because that is what they told me).Today, I went in. The building itself, was terrifying...even probably for someone who WASN'T already terrified of getting oral surgery. Hopefully, its just under construction....but for a cascade office...i expected better.I was asked if I had my PAPER REFERRAL? WHO HAS PAPER REFERRALS ANYMORE?? Why would I have that? I then asked her what the plan was because my sister in law just recieved the same surgery at their Ionia office, and was given a valium prescription for before the surgery, nitrous AND IV anesthesia. But I was offered nothing. They asked if Id rather do a consult....because they only had me down for 1 wisdom tooth and a local anesthetic.If a consult is what I should have had in ORDER to recieve the proper care that I desired....and I made KNOWN to the person who scheduled my appt....then why didnt they tell me that?And why was I told to have a DRIVER PRESENT by this woman if they were just going to give me a local anesthetic?Why did the woman say she would write a note for me about my fears and my request for full anxiety relief, if they were going to completely ignore more anxieties?My dental office was appalled and confused when I call them and told them about what happened, they said that I was, in fact, scheduled for THREE wisdoms to be removed today. Not 1.What an absolute waste of time. Not to mention a full days worth of money down the toilet due to my husband taking the day off.I already have a referral to somewhere else.Dont go to these people.

Rebecca Hall: Just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out by Dr. Novelli. Very quick, easy, and not as painful as I thought it would be. I was given informative papers given to me so I knew what to do prior and after the procedure. The staff members listen to your concerns, which was important to me since COVID-19 pushed my original procedure date almost 3 months later.

Ashley Fisk: Dr. Makovey and his Technician Bria delivered excellent patient care and made my experience the best possible. I would highly recommend.

Aaron Knash: The ABSOLUTE WORST doctor patient experience I have EVER had!!!!! Was referred to have all of my upper teeth removed. This office changed my appointment date less than a week before the appointment date, which wasn't a huge deal, however when I got seated in the chair I explained that i was nervous, before i was numb he attempted to put the shot in my gums, I tried to explain that i wasn't numb yet, was cut off before i could, then I tried to tell him that if he was going to go in now anyway, i needed to get a hand hold first, as Ive been threw it before. Was simply to make me more comfortable, and my comfort was the LAST thing on this doctors mind. I can't stress enough, that if there is ANY, other option I would choose someone else.
