Rockwell Republic: what do users think?
Jennifer Spencer: Recommended dishes Sticky Chicken Fried Rice, Surf 'N' Turf, Sushi RollsMore
T JB: Good food, good sushi!
Mike Flintoff: Vee slooow service, small portions, terrible mixed drink, way over priced. The bus person was cleaning out dirty bus bins, and then he brought our food to us . Gross
Daniel Jung: Ordered the steak and frites with the sauce on the side but was given a well done steak with sauce on the fries. I wasn't asked if I wanted the steak cooked in a certain way and my waiter never came in time for me to tell her that the food was not prepared right. I was confused because usually when an entrée is $45, they would ask you all the necessary questions to make things right. Usually never upload reviews but this really was an interesting experience.
Michael Belligan: Nice vibe inside with the dark wood interior and big front windows for lots of daylight. Just popped in for burgers and a few beers so nothing fancy but it all came out great and our server Mike did a great job.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nathan Allen: Fries Rice was decent. The pork belly with it was super tasty, though. The staff and restaurant itself were top-notch and deserved kudos. The cocktails were also great.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Daniel Crawford: Great food! We were a little confused though why they the red peppers in the queso were big slices instead of diced.
Tony Flowers: The place isn't being maintained very well. Our table was broken, one of the chairs was broken, and the vents need to be cleaned. Some paint wouldn't hurt either.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Abigail Sissing: My husband and I have been going to Rockwell’s for over 7 years. Our favorite thing to order is Sticky Chicken. Since Covid, our order of this has been very inconsistent. For example we have gotten great portions of chicken/rice, sometimes not enough sauce on the chicken, dry chicken, to most recently yesterday, receiving about 5 small pieces of chicken and really dry white sticky rice, leaving us both still hungry. The bill rung up to be more than $40 just for two orders of Sticky Chicken. We don’t mind paying this but the lack of food and inconsistencies with cookery may have us not coming back as this has happened to us too many times.
Andrew Thompson: This used to be a staple spot to bring friends visiting town, or for date nights. Recent menu changes including a raised set of prices, and removal of all but about a handful of options was disappointing to say the least. Likely won’t be back again unless changes are reverted and more variety is brought back into the menu. Would be an okay experience if you’re just looking for a cocktail or two.
Alex Brenner: In years past I always enjoyed going here for drinks and always had to remind myself how good their food was; however on my recent visit things were different. I noticed they changed their menu which once included one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city and now doesn't. Now I haven't tried all their new items, but my fiance's cheeseburger was just average for a bar burger and my spicy salmon roll was quite small with little filling when normally their rolls are better prepared. Our cocktails were great per usual and our group's tacos and other specialty sushi roll seemed good, but I also noticed the prices were quite steep for the quality and quantity of food. When our bill arrived they mixed up the food items. During early dinner hour at 7pm they played country music which felt odd for the atmosphere and around 9:30pm they switched to Living Colour's cult of personality and were blaring it so loud you could hardly hear anyone speak at a normal speaking volume. I'd still come here for drinks, but after seeing the food menu changes and prices I don't think I'd come back for dinner like I have in the past. I hope they revert back to their older menu. I still think about that fried chicken sandwich.
Kendra Jewell: Rockwell Republic used to seem like a gem in Grand Rapids and has always been one of my favorites. The last few times I have been in - i’ve either had a sticky menu, sticky table or sticky drink glass & the service has been poor or slow. It feels dirty in there, the sushi is overpriced for the quality & not to mention the parking is a nightmare with the new added meter. They will charge you for .50 cents for a side sauce with a $30 meal. The vibe is starting to feel tacky & overpriced instead of a class act.

Eric Decker: I wish I could eat everything on the menu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jessy Valentine: The fish and chips i ordered was well prepared and tasted good but it was the only option on the menu i could order and I wasnt really in the mood for it. This one doesnt cater to easily upset stomach, everything is pork, cheese, or spicy.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair and it was not easy to get through, they do provide a ramp but the tables are densely packed. When leaving i had to get out of my wheelchair and hop down two stairs because there was no room to get back to the ramp.
Dan Holmes: You like your taste buds don't you? But you probably take them for granted. Maybe you go days, even weeks without even thinking about your taste buds. How do you sleep at night? Ignoring your trusty ol' buds like that? Here's a way to treat your buds to a special gift: dine at Roam. Your buds will do a cartwheel. Not literally. That would be a health risk.Roam offers street food from around the world. Without having to leave Michigan, you can taste menu items from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, you name it.Do you have a hard time making everyone in your party happy? That won't happen at Roam. Everyone can find something they love.
Michelle Belanger: Great place to explore different foods and flavors!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Caitlin W.: I ordered the Singapore curry, a vegetarian (I think vegan, actually) coconut curry with tofu, potatoes, and other vegetables. There were some pickled onions included that were a really nice contrast to the other flavors. It came with white rice and some tasty paratha. It was all good. The restaurant has some neat lanterns hanging from the ceiling, but I didn't get a picture of them. My server was efficient and friendly. It's a bit on the pricey side, but not outrageous.
C F: Decent enough for a small bite/drink. The veggies with the hummus looked like they found them in the bottom of the bin, the burgers were very greasy- like puddle of grease on the plate that soaked through the bun/sit in your stomach heavily for hours type, the fried potato bites i really wanted to be good but they did not have any flavor beyond potato/oil. I'm thinking it was an off day.
Tegan Jenkins: Great food and I really like their street food themeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Hash Balls, Banh MI …More
C.G.L.: Elevated dishes from around the world served by attentive staff in a laid back atmosphere.
Ani Sarkar: Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsFood: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Paratha Tacos, Mango Sticky Rice, Kati Roll …More
Allen Ross: Many interesting dishes for a diverse selection of tastes. Recommend sharing dishes between several people as I would not have wanted to eat a couple of our dishes as a single entree. The Bao were fab! If I was to get a single entree, the Bao would be it.
Brett Dilley: This place is almost perfect. Eclectic, they have vegetables, international flair, etc. I had the skewers though and they were like rubber. Great drink. Tasted like an Astro pop. Spare ribs were assumed incorrectly to be like kalbi...they were a pile of just spare ribs without a sharp enough knife to attack them.Service was very attentive, ambiance is good as well.
Lilly Baker: I only went here once, but I wasn't overly impressed with the menu options, especially for the price point. Off course that is just my personal opinion, but I probably won't be back. I did have a fun cocktail that had a popsicle in it, but the food wasn't as good or as much of quantity as we were hoping for the prices.
Joseph Messer: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Explore With Steggie: Fantastic experience! We will definitely add Roam to our regular restaurant rotation. Loved the vibe! Slim but good wine list. The apps were really my favorite part of the menu. I may just focus on starters and wine next time. Several vegetarian options. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and gave great suggestions on the food and the wine. We took the Mango Sticky Rice to go.Vegetarian options: Loved the Hash Balls, Samosas, and Suppli. All were vegetarian appetizers and so delicious!
Jodi Smith: Walking by & found this gem of a restaurant. The curry delicious, but the mango sticky rice was straight up life changing! Our server Alfie made some fantastic recommendations that helped us eat gluten free & was so good about checking on us - we're only in town for a few days but will likely eat here again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice …More
David Kreter: Soggy fries cold burger for $20Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Brent Parzuchowski: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Kati RollMore
Nathan Ver Beek: We have had ROAM on the list to visit for a long time and we finally got a chance today. We should have come much sooner! The poké bowl and kimchi bokkeumbop were both excellent. Highly recommend adding the seared ahi tuna to the kimchi.Service was super fast and friendly. We will absolutely return again to try more menu items.
Shilpa Mathew: Loved the place!! Went with colleagues and wanted to take my family there.Food was really good with distinct options and tasty too..Recommended dishes Paratha Tacos, Kati Roll, Gua Bao, Poutine …More

The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck: what do users think?
Doc B.: Nice place and good food. Very friendly staff (at least on my first visit there).Specifically: The „Schnitzel“ was great but the potato salad was - as far as I could see and taste - not really „Austrian style“.
Kate Landis: We only had a quick drink before the show with friends. The service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. The food looked delicious on the plates around us; but, we didn't have the chance to grab a bite to eat.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
TeeC: Amazing, food, staff, atmosphere...great date and location
L W: We had a great experience! The PFC cocktail was delicious, crabcakes were soft and tasty, the steak and salmon dinners were amazing, and while we had to take the lemon tart to go, the sample we had was also perfect! Carmen was a fantastic server! She was funny, knowledgable, and had perfect timing! We plan to come back soon!
carl dezsi: We had reubens.. they were very dry with hardly any sauce, very little meat and sauerkraut, and thinking back, I don't think there was any cheese on it. The service was good though. We got there right before closing.
Nathan Ver Beek: Had a mostly positive experience at The Kitchen tonight. Most of the food was excellent. The Weiner Schnitzel isn't quite traditional, but the crisp is perfection. The "potato salad" on the side is just potato slices, so that was a bit disappointing. The duck is one of the best we've had, so no regrets there for sure. The atmosphere is upscale without being snobby, and everything was clean.A note to Open Table rewards members - despite Open Table listing The Kitchen as a rewards accepting establishment, they will NOT accept Open Table rewards cards.
Jeff Homa: Great food. Great service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Leo Schoenly: Took my fiancé here for date night and wow! Everything was absolutely perfect. We had high expectations going into this place but they blew it out of the water! We will be going back for sure.
John Manning: Our server darcy was so impersonal. She was snarky and condescending. She was very unattentive to our table yet paid lots of attention to the table next to us. We were so excited to try the restaurant for the 1st time but she ruined the experience for us. I can't say I will come back. The soda machine appeared to not be working as the soda tasted funny and when we got a 2nd different one that too had a funny taste. The lemonade was also not very good. When we asked we for something different we got an attitude & it took forever to get.I looked for a manager to speak with wasn't able to get any help.
Stacey Jones: Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Aaron B: Food and drinks were excellent good job!
Siouxzette: Loved the food and service. The view was amazing but the small child running around our table like we were at McDonald's was disappointing. Not the restaurants fault but, it really ruined the atmosphere. I should have asked to move.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Linda Hubbard: There were 6 of us to dine for my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival it took the waitress several minutes to take our drink order. Area we were sitting in was very noisy- we asked to be moved but the host said all the tables had reservations (the restaurant was practically empty)— while eating our appetizers the host did find us a table but we had already started eating and the noise level did subside a bit. When I received the check there was a charge of 2 bottles of wine instead if 2 glasses- hmm...hence my husband caught that. ($80) Also, when I looked at the new check upon arriving at home (because it still seemed more than expected). there was a 20% "charged tip" at the bottom of the bill. Absolutely no where on their site does it say that there will be a charge for" parties of 6 or more". (Usually it's 8 or more) and of course the waitress didn’t share that.Endless to say the waitress ended up with not only the gratuity on the check ($62.20), but an additional generous cash tip from me!-yikes!!On the food end, it was prepared and presented nicely. The duck duo was prepared properly and the short ribs were tender and nicely seasoned along with the Shanghai Noodles, Pad Thai and pizza. The Truffle Chips need attention tho..Overall, please look at your bill. I truly think the change of the 2 bottles of wine were intentional, hoping it would not be noticeable on the check…I'm sure Mr. Wolf Gang Puck would not be pleased about our dining Experience!
Jennifer Willis: Delicious duck! Delicious drinks! Delicious dessert! Wonderful service.
Taylor Vorhees: This was amazing
Dr. T Johnson: This place is beautiful.... classy although not considered fine dining I don't think...but it has all the makings of fine dining. Water view, atmosphere, great esthetics.....love it!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Wraps …More
Lee Lambright: The duck couldn't have been better!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
