Jason Finch: I couldn’t be any less satisfied with our paint job. It’s been 2.5 years and when I asked them if they’d prime AND paint they said yes. Come day of the actual painting they tell me “oh it’s primer and paint in one” and process to rush through the job as quickly as possible. 2.5 years later and the paint is pealing and flaking off everywhere now and we paid almost $10,000 for this work. BUYER BEWARE.Edit:Company responded with an excuse. Cool thanks for nothing. I’m not sure I even believe you either.

Robin Bupp: They did an amazing job painting all of our trim - you would never know it used to be all 80’s wood stain! The job was challenging with odd stairs and multistory walls, but when they were finished it all looked perfect. Johnny Vanocker: We recently approached VanDerKolk Painting to look at painting our facility. The interior walls and ceiling here, were incredibly dusty and dirty, also our steel columns and crane supports created a difficult challenge. James Enos: In 2019, we purchased and renovated a 110 year old Eastown house. Probably the most important parts of the renovation were whole interior and exterior paintings. We met with several companies to get bids and selected VanDerKolk and Kooi. While bid amounts were comparable, we felt that Blake, the project manager, understood what we were trying to accomplish with the house. He connected us with a plaster/ drywall professional (who was great) who squeezed us in to get the project started by resurfacing all the walls. And he made sure the painting projects kept on track. The interior paint job was challenging but the results were really outstanding. The attention to detail by Dave and Lydia was amazing. The entire interior space was really renewed and transformed. The exterior painting came next. Cam and Lydia did a great job prepping and painting. The results really exceeded our expectations for how good the house could look. We were highly satisfied with VanDerKolk and Kooi's work in bringing our house back to life.
