Crahen Valley Park: what do users think?
Halisi McCoy McCoy: Beautiful park. Nice walking trails both paved and dirt.
Benjamin Kiaunis: A great place for a short hike.
Bhavani Ananthan: Lovely little park with a beautiful trail for walking and biking.. No play area for kids..
Marc Reigler: Huge park, lots of trails to discover.
Tim Kuiper: This is the go-to place near Grand Rapids to get out in nature without spending too much in gas. Diverse landscapes, ponds, creeks, swamp, it has lots.
Richard Dunnuck: Great scenic Park with paved and natural trails. Lower ravine contains a pond, while upper probability has a lookout over the ravine.
Dawn Larsen: It was ok ,more for exercise.
Neil Carlson: One of the very best places in metro Grand Rapids for a hike on a beautiful day. Don't miss the overlook just north of the parking lot on Leonard and the wandering stream at the bottom of the valley. The long straight road down hill into the valley is in the treeline northwest of the be parking area. It's covered by trees and level, but it can be tiring to climb out for those of us dealing with health and fitness issues, and the many trails through the trees are unpaved and fairly rough and narrow.
Evan Post: Wow! This is a beautiful park. It has a quarter mile paved loop around a large field, with picnic benches and benches, a grand view of the valley, and a neat wooden bridge. Then you can go down into Crahen Valley on unmarked hiking trails and explore creeks, forest, and a pond for over an hour without seeing all the trails. But you’ll probably see some deer! There is no trail map and no trail markers so be prepared to find your own way in the valley!
Jean Weinrich: Biologist/conservation & bird enthusiast students here, had an exceptional walk over bridged streams into a deep valley. Great views and many different ecozones made for a wide array of bird species/tree species!
Susan E: Nice park to walk in
Jessica Griffiths-Ritzke: Playground: No playground, just a walking parkDog-friendliness: A lot of dogs here frequently
Mercedes Giorgio: Hermoso lugar 🤗
Debra Harding-Vanaman: Love the "off road" hills.
Kim Gage: Great hike but trail markers would be very helpful!!
pauline Sandoval: Still being developed as a park. Does have walking trails and beautiful flower plantings.
Andy Kaiser: You will come for the dog walking and / or solo / family hiking on miles of spiderwebbed unmarked trails through the woods and fields... but you'll stay for the dog walking and / or solo / family hiking on miles of spiderwebbed unmarked trails through the woods and fields.
Sam Chapman: A real adventure! One of the best trails I've ventured on. A hidden gem, really. The steep hills will work your legs - Unmarked and leaf covered trails make it easy to get off the path... luckily GPS works out there! I downloaded AllTrails to keep us on track!
Leslie Schlaack: This is a gem in the Grand Rapids area. So happy to find this place. Could use some more trail marking signs overall but definitely recommend checking these trails out.
T Raw: There were many trails to explore. Dog friendly as well.Dog-friendliness: I personally took my own dog here for the first time and she absolutely loved it. Met a handful of other dogs on the trail too.Picnic area: Plenty of tables along the main paved trail for a picnic.
Ann Hackney: This is a pretty quiet place.steep climb if you go below

Huff Park: what do users think?
Sarah: Love this Park!
Alexis Bates: This is a very unique park in the city. It's actually in a wetland and there's a lot of boardwalk through it. It's also dog friendly, which is really fun for the pup. Downside to that is that there are a lot of people that don't clean up after their dog, even though there are bags provided.Watch your step!
Arryn Uhlenbrauck: Lovely trail over the wetlands. Went to my niece’s baseball at the diamonds and found a wonderful trail around the park. Who knew such a lovely trail was right near Creston. This park was a hidden gem, and while we saw lots of others. It wasn’t overly crowded. Also, we saw deer and bird watchers.
Joshua Allen: Huff park is a great family park with okay equipment. Plenty of hall fields for getting the family involved in sports. There are seasonal bathrooms and a seasonal concession stand. Despite all the business, you can escape on the walk way through the low lying wet land. Very beautiful and serene. Great way to escape in a busy city.
Hali Matthes: Been going since I was a kid. My favorite walking park
Mr Johnson: Love taking photos here while walking the doggos also me and a friend have put out suet cakes for birds and apples for the deer everyone loves seeing the wildlife here thrive and neander around the area we try to help keep things nice for nature and the dogs love the woodland path ate the beginning of the paths if you start away from the baseball diamonds and theres many other paths a small secret to discover .
I Z: Beautiful
Gary Kuyper: Nice spot to walk and great place for the grandkids to play!
David Radde: Great walking trail. It's a 1 mile loop with about 1/2 paved and 1/2 platform over the marsh. Great place right in the city to get out and appreciate nature. Many different birds and I almost always see deer.
Kim Black: Wonderful, well kept walking or running paths. Fun playgrounds and well maintained sports fields.Playground: Definitely fun for younger kids.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. All the dogs I saw were well behaved.Picnic area: Nice picnic tables for a large or small group in several places.
B S: Nice enough trail, lots of graffiti though
J G: Hidden gem. The whole trail is paved so I can take my hubby who is now wheelchair bound

Stephen Van Hammen: A nice trail with boardwalks that are built over creeks and swampy areas. A good place on the NE side of Grand Rapids to observe wildlife.
Rick Wilbert: Beautiful park in the middle of the city. The dogs loved it
Hannah M: The boardwalk is a wonderful nature walk and a great place to watch the seasons change. Lots of birds and deer this time of year.
