Sara Eschels: Body by Choice Training is top notch. The equipment and facility is clean and in great shape. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Heather is my trainer and she is the best! She challenges me and is super supportive. When I joined 5 months ago, I wore a knee brace to work out - today, the knee brace is gone. I still have work to do to get my leg stronger but I am well on my way. Thank you!

Schedules are super flexible and you get an email reminding you of each one. I’ve actually started working out on my own outside of sessions and that’s a big deal for me. I don’t feel like I’m forcing myself to move my body. I’m happy to do it! Showers are also provided and are private. So I work out in the morning, take a relaxing shower, and then go to work. 10/10 recommend for anyone who wants accountability and confidence to work out on your own too!

Ashley Potrykus: Today I had my first session with a one-on-one trainer. Beforehand I met with the owner to discuss goals. The owner is very complete, helpful, encouraging and friendly. My trainer was all of these as well and corrected my form as needed without making me feel self conscious. When I had questions, he answered them and demonstrated the form/moves. The work out was intense but not so intense that I felt discouraged. I felt satisfied when it was over and wanting to come back. After the session I met again either the owner to go over packages. He seemed to give options that might work better for me financially but didn’t make me feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. I would recommend if you’re looking for motivation and one on one training.

I've been working with Derek and Melcolm for a couple of months now and have loved my experience at FT downtown. Both of them have done a great job working with me towards my fitness goals and have catered workouts that are respectful of my individual health limitations, while still pushing me to my potential. They have been absolutely incredible with scheduling, as well, to make sure that I can always get my workouts in when it is convenient for me during the week! They have also been great about encouraging me to do different workouts outside of training sessions. Derek and Melcolm do a great job of making me feel comfortable while working out so that I can focus on my workouts and never feel self conscious. Overall, I've had a great experience working with Derek and Melcolm with very personalized workouts! It's easy to tell that they put in the effort toward tailoring my individual workouts to my needs!

Isaac: I absolutely love this gym but It’s been incredibly frustrating to continue my membership recently. The advantage to being a member at fitness 19 is the cheap price, and having the ability to deadlift/squat. Unfortunately this gym is so packed I haven’t even been able to do either of those for weeks. I often times find myself having to go around 8 or 9pm if I even want to use basic equipment it’s been so packed. At first I thought it was the New Years rush but it’s March… gym either needs to stop taking on new memberships, have a capacity(I’d recommend setting up an app for members to see capacity) , or remove the excess amount of treadmills and add more actual lifting equipment. Been a member for like 2 years and it’s heartbreaking to just never be able to workout.

I specifically asked to strengthen my core and running muscles as I'm training for a half marathon. I can safely say that I can tell the difference in my long runs - my pace used to slow way down as the miles increased but now I'm consistently holding the same pace and I'm not as sore or tired as I used to be. Jose Garza: I like the different machines they have compared to PF. It's not a huge gym but they do have a lot of different equipments to get your lift on! I like that it's downtown and close to everything in the GR area.

Training with Lo has been awesome she makes me work hard, bur we always end up laughing so much that I never hate a minute of it.
