Shelby Denhof: I came here with a group of 10. They were very accommodating with a large reservation in advance.The outside space is trendy, fun, and enjoyable to be in.There are lots of options for fun cocktails.The vegan nachos were the best thing we ate (and none of us are vegan!).I knocked down a star because I think the entrees could have been better, especially for the price point.Overall, a great place to go with friends, especially in the summer.

Chelsea Olivares: Very disappointing. Food lacked any sort of flavor. I ordered chicken to add to my pasta dish, and was unable to eat it because it had so much gristle. For the price point I had much higher expectations.

Nathan Ver Beek: Nice little place. Food was good but on the pricey side. We did get a generous portion though. Quiet, nice decor and clean. Definitely worth a visit, and don't hesitate to try the French Dip!Update 2023: Visited for brunch today and it was excellent! Both the Corned Beef Hash and Breakfast Burrito were delicious. The bottle of bubbles is reasonably priced as well.

Marissa Zinn: Elevated yet laid back environment. Great place to grab dinner & drink. Their cocktails were very tasty. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was very flavorful. However I got Bolognese as my entree and it was good but Lacking of a few things. Pasta was over cooked , and I feel like the sauce could have been more flavorful without straying from traditional bolognese. Understanding it probably wasn’t one of their staple dishes, but definitely could use some refinement! Excited to come back and try some of their sandwiches on the menu, I’ve heard good things!

CC: Olive’s food is SO GOOD! They’ve had a little menu revamp and we were thoroughly impressed. The meatloaf was amazing. We are definitely adding this to our go to dinner spot list. I’d highly recommend trying to sit outside on the patio in the summer time. The service can be slower and could use some improvement, but the great attitudes and food make up for it.

Krista Dunn: I did not like the side item of my meal and our waitress not only inquired as to how the food was, but, she swapped it out for me so I could enjoy the entire meal. I appreciated her not only asking but asking quickly after we had taken a few bites. The rest of my meal was delicious and it's not anyone's fault as to how it was made. It just wasn't something I apparently liked. Well done Olives.👍

dougie congdon: I feel bad about this. My wife and I walked over because I haven't been to Olive's in years. It was a Saturday evening but a tad on the early side, well before 7. We were seated almost immediately. Our friendly server Miranda made suggestions for wine and appetizers and we ordered fairly quickly. Mushroom crostini and the Pinot were great, and ... Then nothing. We were completely ignored. Eventually I had to find whomever I assumed was the manager to pay for the wine and appetizer at 8:40 PM. It seems the food had been ready for some time because they asked if we wanted it boxed!? If one server is behind, no one else could drop off the simple pulled pork sandwich? It's too bad. I want them to do well.
AgentTheory: New owners ruined a favorite. Olive's was a long time favorite for our family, but no longer. Last night started well. My Blustery Gale cocktail was excellent. The second one was the Old Fashioned Holiday, which tasted like water with a cinnamon stick in it. I then had the Caesar salad, which might have had a tiny bit of dressing, and some awful candy-sweet pickled onions. My entree was the smoked pork chop with squash puree in such a small amount it was barely a sauce, with a couple thin apple slices cooked in sugar, apparently. The chop was tasty, but paper-thin. Meanwhile, my son had the fish and chips. The fish was heavily breaded and absolutely tasteless, and my daughter's olive burger was cooked beyond well. Let's call it desiccated. My wife's chicken PLT sandwich was Jimmy John's cold-cut quality. Terrible food. The service was good. I should add that this was the second time in the last six weeks that we ate at Olive's, and the first time was equally disappointing. We gave it a pass for being so good for many years, but it seems that the quality decline is the new normal.

Brittany Troupe: I just had the absolute best quick and cozy lunch experience in GR. The wait staff was extremely kind and attentive. The food was delicious.I ordered the lettuce wrap and subbed mushrooms for the chicken to make it vegan — phenomenal. The flavor, the texture, and the freshness all combined to make the wrap an ideal meal — filling and fresh. My lunch date ordered the Caesar salad and paired it with a lovely Chardonnay — she loved it. Everything was affordable from the food to the drinks. Perfect experience for a lunch out on a snowy day.
