Success Licensing: what do users think?
Perry Youngs: It is a fast pace class with a lot of material to digest. Deborah is a seasoned professional and in her element.
Kayla Smith: Does anyone know is this place is still open? This is exactly what I've been looking for. I tried calling but nobody ever picks up. I left a voice message but nobody has returned my call.
Kaley Weaver: If I could rate this class with 100 stars, I would! Everything about the class was amazing. Highly recommend taking the class if you are ready to jump into the field. I took the online pre-course class and couldn't pass the exam. Once I took Deb's class, I passed! Deb, the instructor was absolutely amazing. She knows what she's talking about, is very easy to talk with, and is very supportive along your entire journey. It was a week long class and the facility and other co-workers were very welcoming. They even had snacks, fresh flavored water daily, and coffee! The most important aspect of this class is being on time, paying full attention to Deb, and doing exactly what she says...her way not your way! Flashcards and Vocab is what got me to pass the exam. Study Vocab before taking the class and it will make the concepts much easy to understand. On top of the the great experience, our class enjoyed Leslyn, who was extra hands on, helpful, and very kind! You won't regret taking this class. Kudos to Deb, Sucess Licensing, Leslyn, and the company!!
Payton Lee: Deb is great ! Leslyn is as well!
Stephanie Dolly: Deb is an awesome instructor! She is very positive and motivational. One whole care deeply about her students and a passion for the real estate business itself! This class definitely helped me prepare and be more confident when going to take the big exam. Thank you again Deb and staff at success licensing
Barbara Williams: Life is full of decisions and this was a GREAT one for me. Attention to detail was over the top. Go ahead BOOK it.
Erjon Balaj: Absolutely the best of the best teaching Ms.Deb is a top class teacher and the whole staff is really professional with their hands open to teach us.
dallas jaros: This class is the one to pick. I tried to do this class online and within 30 minutes of barbs class I knew that her way was much better. Highly recommend!!!
Dan A.: I fully recommend Success Licensing with two enthusiastic "thumbs-up!"....but only if you are looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere that will efficiently and knowingly guide you through the mass of information to PASS YOUR EXAM!Deb is a great teacher, the result of her extensive experience. She makes the process easy and very simple... don't miss any class time, listen to what she is teaching you and PASS THE EXAM!Thanks for a great experience Deb!
lea beaulieu: Ms Deborah is a thorough instructor Who really cares about her students success.
Jameila McDonald: Great Experience! I love how helpful and throughly she went through each chapter. Staff are very welcoming and encouraging.
Leslyn Koehler: If you want to pass your real estate exam, take this course!! Deb is a fantastic teacher, leading with compassion and real-world expertise!
Paige Balczak: Deb was amazing and I passed my test on the first attempt! I couldn't have done it without her!
Tim Magierka: Can't say enough great things about this class and Deb. After trying a online class and not really liking it I found Deb and Success Licensing. WOW! What a difference! Great people there. I did everything Deb said and passed the test First time! Take the class, do what Deb says and you will not regret it. So worth it!
Amy Scamazzo: Highly recommend!! Deb is an excellent teacher.
Birdie Wester Holley: TAKE THIS CLASS if you want to pass your test! Deb is incredible! The 40 hour class was informative, helpful and even fun! Don't get me wrong, passing your realtor exam is not easy, but if you do as Deb suggests (follow closely in her class, study 2 hours each night, and take the test as soon as you can once the class is done) - you will be set up for success! Definitely taker her bonus day too, for us that was the Monday following our week-long class at no extra charge! The facility is clean and cozy and they even have snacks for you! Deb knows her stuff, I could hear her voice in my head when taking my exam and she was right on with what I needed to know. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and great my experience was. Don't get me wrong, it's a LOT of hard work, but if you stick to the program you WILL succeed!!!!
Travis Chamberlain: Deb is an amazing instructor and supports you from the beginning to the end and is always going the extra mile to make sure you have the tools and knowledge to pass the class and state exam. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to become a Realtor.
Ashlie Kuiper: Deb was a wonderful instructor and made the class very enjoyable. She is patient and wants to make sure that you are feeling confident in your ability to be successful taking the exam. She is a great listener and genuinely wants you to be successful. The class was extremely helpful and I highly recommend.
Audrey Shi: I took the pre-licensing class with Success Licensing 3 years ago, and I am in this business ever since. Teacher Deb is very knowledgeable and very patient with students. Deb is good at combining real case teaching to make knowledge easy to understand. I had a wonderful learning experience.
Sonnie Bryant-Bédard: Success Licensing is a fantastic resource for license learning! Deb Malamis is an extremely proficient instructor with tremendous qualifications and the uncanny ability to teach her materials in a way that her students learn best.10 stars ⭐️ Highly recommended!
Reid Nicholson: Deb does an amazing job with this class! Her energy and knowledge of the entire real estate industry was amazing to me! The class has a great atmosphere and is right in the office of Success Realty. This gives you an opportunity to talk to any of the agents at the company that might be there during the day and see what they have to say about the company/staff as a whole! Deb makes sure you are prepared and know exactly what you need to know to pass that final exam and obtain your license! She explains everything in detail, but makes it easily understandable. She doesn't move on to a new topic until she is sure that everyone in the class is on board with the subject she's talking about. Not to mention, I took the class when I was 18 and passed! If she can teach an 18 year old what they need to know to pass the final exam then she most definitely can do the same for you!

PSI Test Center: what do users think?
Riah Shankleton: I had zero issues finding the building, doors are labeled and tell you which room is for which test. The practical is on the 1st floor, theory is on the 2nd!I would test here again if needed! I have nothing negative to say about this place!
Kelsey Jaszcz: So I took my practical here and it was great. Very simple. So I decided to drive down again for the theory portion of my cosemetolgy exam. To save money on the 2 hour trip, two other girls and I split travel and lodging costs. We arrived at the test center prior to testing and registered no problem. However when starting the test, the screen said ERROR, see PROCTOR. so 2 out of 3 of us were not able to take the test and were told to reschedule. It has been weeks. I have talked to countless people to fix this. They say I have to redo paperwork even though it's not my fault. And I have to try to get my test fee waived. I was supposed to get a call back after my fee was waived, but it's been so long I need to call again! Psi will not reimburse travel costs or anything. I have literally cried over frustration with PSI. I'm testing at Gaylord instead.I have tonget cleared to take the test again, and I am not aloud to reschedule until I am. So frustrating.
Alex: Scheduled my exam, drove 45 minutes and took the day off of work to arrive and get turned away because they were overbooked. I was given a phone number to call so that I could reschedule and it has been a joke attempting to do so.I have been on hold for multiple hours a day trying to get a hold of anyone that can help. Out of the three people I actually spoke to after being transferred countless times, I have been told: I'm not eligible because I was absent and that I'd have to repay, given the "supervisors number" which was another automatic messaging service for the real estate licensing in Missouri (mind you- I'm taking a healthcare exam in Michigan), and actually hung up on.PSI has a F grade on their BBB website for poor customer service and untrustworthy practices. I wish I could test through another company that was actually reliable but unfortunately that’s not an option for my exam. The actual workers at the Grand Rapids location were extremely nice, but PSI as a company is a complete joke and their costumer service is atrocious.
Shannon: I have read alot of the reviews, alot negative but i took mypractical exam for nail tech here and i was very nervous. apon entry one girl forgot to bring odorless monomer, but they allowed her to try and test without the sculpture portion, another girl had expired I.d., based on reviews i read of girls calling the proctors " old " such n such i thought they would be turned away but the proctors were fair!! just because you came unprepared and did not pass does not have anything to do with them being older woman. i found this site to be clean, friendly ,respectfull and i would recommend going here to test. i drove 2 1/2 hrs because of a terrible 1st hand experience i heard of my friend had in the southfield location. i made several mistakes myself, but i still passed and im glad i came to this center. i would recommend taking nail tech practical exam in this location. but dont blame this centers proctors for your own unpreparedness.
Marquetta Melton: I can only speak for my experience at PSI and it was great!! Kind, courteous and respectful.
Madison Petro: I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt the need to after my experience. I drove about two and a half hours to this location to take my cosmetology practical exam and there were no directions in the building where to go, I honestly just got lucky and chose the right hall to go down. I got into the room and the proctors were pretty nice and there seemed to be no issues. After I left I was told I should get my results via email within the next 48 hours or so. I started checking the psi website and my results said “expired” along with a couple other girls from my school that took it around the same time as me. I decided to call psi after it hit two days with no results and I was informed that we were wrongfully marked absent for our test. This is obviously very frustrating because they told me I won’t hear any other updates until late next week. With all of that being said because of their mistake we may have to retake this test and wait even longer to get licensed. Save yourself the hassle and go to a different location!!
Susan -M-: There are TWO DIFFERENT PSI locations within the same building: one is upstairs on the north side of the building and the other is on the ground floor near the elevator. The downstairs one is where people take "practical exams" for cosmetology etc. The upstairs one is computer-based exams for all kinds of different things. There is not clear signage in the building about this, so I was surprised when the first PSI location I found wasn't the right one. Once I found the correct location with the help of a worker from a completely different business, everything went fine with my computer test- it was similar to other test centers I've been to before, and the staff was helpful. They provide foam earplugs. The test room is comfortably warm. Bathroom and water fountain are down the hall (you can't bring a water bottle into the computer room).
Erica V: . Not to mention she marked me for sanitation when I’m pretty positive I was one of the only person to actually sanitize their station (while holding my bags under my arms not setting anything down
The Lucas Higgins: Blatantly disregarded regulations
Kevin Sane: The worst people you could ever imagine are staffing this place. They are as ignorant as they are miserable. The test administrators are so dissatisfied with their own pitiful existence that they relish the failure of others. They will go out of their way to over exert what minimal authority they actually have. They enjoy their minuscule illusions of power way too much. It must be difficult constantly interacting with people who are bettering themselves and advancing their careers and societal value.PS. I passed without a mask
Connor G: Friendly staff. Efficient process
Gary Rountree: Rude and disrespectful!
Michele Baragar: Extremely rude staff. PSI needs to be investigated by LARA, the proctors were extremely unprofessional. When I called the state to question the reason they would not allow me to test (My married last name wasn't updated in their system and they CHOSE to not update it even with proper documentation) the representative at LARA told me to call the headquarters and let them know if they did not resolve this, I would file a report with Licensing and Regulatory affairs. After I said that, they decided to refund my test cost and reschedule immediately. I was told I needed to pay $10 for a mask because mine was left in my car and he "didn't have time" for me to go get it, despite being early. I had to tell the man doing registration that I was already anxious so if he was not being serious to please let me know because I had no cash on me and after a minute, gave me a mask. Very VERY strange experience for a professional brokers license...... This seems like a weird high school testing spot... not a place to take a regulated state licensing exam.. A simple reminder to staff that we PAY for this, study for this and expect them to work on behalf of us.
Rachel Aubrey: I took the Michigan jurisprudence exam for physical therapy and they did not let me bring in the materials I brought even though I was allowed to. She told me that the title of the packet did not match the paperwork I brought. The titles did not match but I printed what I was given after signing up for the exam. This needs to be figured out for further PT students that are testing. I agree with others though- the lady I was dealing with was very unpleasant and was not willing to work with me
Kyle Ording: Literally the WORST staff to ever exist!!!! Took my test without any problems but the two women who were there were the most unpleasant unhappy most terrible people I've ever dealt with in my life!! Sooo bad that even Comcast customer service is 1000% better....
Danielle Gill: No issues. The gentleman worked efficiently and professionally as he processed us all for the our testing.
Marquetta Foster: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismDefinitely do not recommend taking your theory test here I was scheduled for a 9am test arrived at 830 am as the paperwork stated. And no one showed up it was atleast 10 others waiting and we stayed around for a hour after our schedules time just to see if someone will show up and never did
Dave Skestone: Absolutely would never recommend anything to do with PSI. Was told I could not test bc I was exposed to covid. Was told I would have to contact the company on Monday (day of my test) fast forward over a month later with no response or answers from the company on rescheduling my exam, they tell me today it's my fault I didn't go and if I can't prove that their employee told me I can't test due to covid (it's literally on their website) that it's my fault and forfeited my chance to test. Was left on hold for over a half hour and then hung up on when I was "being transferred to someone who might help". I can't believe these people are in charge of the states testing for professional licenses.
Eric Brown: They are not located at the "ALLSTATE office" it is the main doors at flags. Cosmo. is straight/slight right past the elevator. PSI testing is upstairs to right all the way down.
Amber Hearn: I showed up at 8:25 for my 9:00am test (as the email says to show up 30 minutes early or you’ll forfeit your exam and payment.) I, and about 8 others waited for nearly TWO hours (while on the phone with the 800 number- that was no help at all), and no one showed. Other employees in the building passed by and said this happens often on Saturdays. SHOW UP TO WORK OR SEND OUT A NOTIFICATION!!! SO unprofessional!
Avery Ketterer: Came here to take my cosmetology practical exam. the proctors were nice but they don't check your work like they're supposed to AND after I completed the exam I went online to view my score and I was marked ABSENT for the test even though I WAS THERE TAKING MY EXAM AND SIGNED IN. There was literal hard proof of my signature and the date of the exam AND they verified my driver's license as a form of ID and still I was marked absent and now I'm trying to get everything figured out with PSI customer service and they're no help either. Clearly it was a mistake on the proctor's end and it may have just cost me another $93 to retake the exam and a delay to receive my state license. HIGHLY disappointed.

Great Lakes Realty Systems Inc: what do users think?
Charles Kao: I took another course by this same company but they created another name so I did not realize it was same company and same horrible instructor and the practice exams were horrible. Multiple typos, and there were areas of practice test where it would say all of above even though that answer would not be on bottom or A and B but the answer are not labeled A and B. The last course I took for them I felt so ill prepared for I ended just just taking another course else where. I ended up passing both tests, but the course basically provides 10 hours of instruction and goes over ultra basic concepts that will not prepare you for any exam you take.
Alison Cancilliari: Took the class....passed the Brokers Exam First time out!
Jim Mulleady: Critical:QualityThe course emphasizes minutiae. It overemphasizes details that are easily obtainable in a digital world. It ignores the realities of a highly connected society. Go elsewhere if you actually wish to gain knowledge.
Denny Noneman: I've used Jack Miedema and GLRS for my continuing real estate education for many years. I'm always impressed with its reliability, quality, and value. I particularly enjoyed this years addition of commercial real estate topics. GLRS offers the best online real estate education available. Dennis J. Noneman, CCIM, CPM - Toledo, Ohio
Max Scholz: Very informative, easy to navigate, and the price is right.
