Alex Brenner: Great atmosphere if you're looking for a smaller pub catering to a younger crowd. I recall in the past they had a burger deal on Sundays along with a decent bloody Mary bar which was a highlight for a Sunday funday. Not sure if they still do this.

Lindsay Chadwell: Butchers union is one of the coolest places to dine in GR! It was PACKED on a Tuesday. I snuck in and grabbed a bar seat to try the new summer cocktails and a light dinner! Everything was great, I only wish there were more salad and chicken options! They had one chicken entree on the menu and it was a half of a chicken that took a minimum of 20 minutes. The chicken on the salad was also an option. The service was impeccable. Definitely shoot for a seat in the back as that’s the most asthethic and open area of the restaurant! I probably won’t dine alone here again as it was pretty loud and packed, but definitely recommend for a dinner with friends or a date!

Rebecca Irby (PEAC Institute): Incredible food and drinks! The bar has such a wide and deep liquor selection, especially the whiskeys, but also A LOT of great beers. I highly recommend! And get there on the earlier side, it gets busy quick - they open at 4.

The atmosphere and service were great, as well as the cocktails, but the food overall was disappointing. We found multiple hairs in our food and found it to be underwhelming and slightly under seasoned. It was very busy, they do have a wait list but no reservations and it gets very loud so don't expect an intimate experience.Parking: Street parking and paid lots available nearby.

Jim Miars: Had a great experience there, place is super busy, but our foursome got treated great. Try the Brussel Sprouts, amazing!It would be easy for a place like this, due to their high foot traffic location, to be lazy with regard to food and/or service. Not this place! I have been there since and sat in a different spot with picky orderers/eaters- again, treated wonderfully, food was great. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. There is often a wait, so prepare for that. We had cocktails out on the street while waiting, it was great. We were a little hungover the next day, lol.

Our waiter, Alex, was super knowledgeable about the food & drinks which made our first time here so comfortable. He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and so kind! Courtney Leeper: We really enjoyed our dinner at Butcher's Union. They don't take reservations, but have a online waitlist you can join, we went on a Wednesday night and it was packed so there we had a 30 min wait for 4, but we all agreed it was well worth the wait. Our server was fantastic, and we had a drink at the bar before being seated and staff at the bar was wonderful. Great beer and cocktail selection, not a huge menu but we all got something different and enjoyed it. The inside is beautiful and so unique it made for a great dinning experience. Would definitely recommend trying this place!!

Yelitza Morales: I would never eat here again. The food was less than mediocre. It took about 20 minutes to get a lavender vanilla latte. When I got it, it was cold. We asked the waitress (Claire) for another one since she said it couldn’t be heated up. Another latte was brought over (about 20 minutes later) cold so I just dealt with it. People order $7.25 lattes expecting them to be hot… but what really set me off was getting the bill and being charged twice for a latte. We asked the waitress about it and she said they made two drinks so they would charge for two drinks, but she was going to speak to the manager to see what they could do about it. A little while later Claire came over and said she got it taken care of but she definitely seemed annoyed by the situation. It’s not my fault that I was served a cold coffee so they had to make it again. That shouldn’t fall on the consumer. Either the person making lattes doesn’t know how to make a hot latte or the latte’s sat out for too long before being served. Anywho, that’s my gripe with this place. Overrated and the food isn’t good, service isn’t good (we barely saw the waitress and when we did it wasn’t great), we waited so long for the lattes and then the food, and the atmosphere is super loud (hard to even think in this place). Take your money elsewhere.
