Larry Ritzke: The Northview Seniors Center is a Great place to meet people have exercise and classes for art classes and wood carving. Love there coach trips in Michigan and out of state. Also Loved Founders tour and restaurants to eat at.

Ruth Gunneson-Poling: I recently applied in person. I was introduced to residents that day who were told I was going to be working there. After two weeks of waiting to be officially hired they filled the position. I was really looking forward to working there.

I did an extensive search for the right independent living place for myself and found beyond comparison that the Baldwin House was the best facility in the area. The accommodations are superior, the price was within my budget. the staff very friendly and concerned about my care, they have a variety of social events and the food is very well prepared by a master chief, featuring delicious meals with a variety of culinary preparations. I am very pleased with my decision to move here and give it my highest recommendation.

Mary Diekema: My dad was at Baldwin House for over a year. My experience with Baldwin House was very satisfying, and I would recommend them to anyone. My dad got great care, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Dweave: My mom and my aunt have been living at Baldwin (American House) since the Fall of 2018. The staff is wonderful, and I have always found them to be very responsive when I’ve had questions. Sher, the Executive Director, is wonderful. Her door is always open, and she takes a personal interest in the well being of the residents.Remarkably, during the last year and a half, the residents of Baldwin House have been kept very safe. Masks were required, and visitors were not allowed in the building. All meals were delivered to residents’ appartments. There was a staff person at the front door at all times to accept deliveries. During that time only one resident tested positive for COVID.My wife and I looked at many other options, and have never regretted choosing Baldwin House. You can find places that charge a lot more, but I doubt you will find one with a higher level of service.

Th residents that I am meeting are friendly and will always speak or wave when the see me in the hallways.The dining area i lovely and the meals are delicious and well balanced, with a great variety of fish, meat, fruit, vegetables. The salads are always fresh and crispy. The dining staff is always friendly. The desserts are amazing with a variety of mouth-watering choices.The days are full of activities planned by the social activities director from shopping outings, entertainment on the premises to Bingo and even small discussion groups,I am very happy to be a resident at Baldwin House and call it: "My Home!"The management and staff are very pleasant and helpful with any issue that happens to arise. .

kpravera: A great place to live if you want trendy new furniture in the lobby but don't mind putting the bottom line ahead of your own or your loved one's comfort and quality of life. My elderly parent has lived here for several years and truly enjoyed it. But American House, the new owner, has made changes that leave residents more isolated from one another, and appears to be indifferent to pleas to reconsider. Morning coffee hour used to draw about 30 residents together 6 days a week in the dining room. Management decided it was inconvenient to rearrange the tables after coffee and before lunch, so this group can no longer gather as they did before. Hey, management's convenience is more important than 85 year old people who live alone being able to socialize outside their apartments one hour a day, right? As for meals, you now must buy an entire package of daily meals, cleaning and laundry, no more option to have a periodic meal with neighbors in the dining room. Not everyone can afford this, but tough luck for the low income folks out there. I guess management is waiting for them to move out or die off. My parent's overall health and well-being has deteriorated over the past few months since his opportunities for socializing are so limited. Who cares is there is trendy new furniture in the lobby?

rimckd: We are completely unimpressed with the operation of this Citizens senior center. It is closed on Friday Saturday and Sunday and they will not let you use the exercise equipment on Friday Saturday or Sunday. Not good. Apparently this place is Run for the benefit of the staff
