Adriel Vera: Great school with an award winning marching band and great sports programs, and a great family atmosphere. But, relocating the media center to a smaller room on the 3rd floor is a very dumb move. Students learn better from books, so the library should be bigger, NOT smaller.

Kena Troupe: This school sucks so much! So full of ghetto people with no manners, loud and obnoxious, teachers and the teaching system is not a challenge. Way to easy for me and it feels like teachers have given up. This is the worst school ever, the principal never does anything about the drama going on in school, mr.porko is very immature and saracastic with parents. THIS SCHOOL SUCKS.
Gio cruz: To begin with, the football coach or supervisor whoever he is was super rude! I have never met a human being who was so rude, disrespectful, and childish. I moved here from Texas and my brother joined the football team at this school he had his first game and had to be sent to the ER and get MRI because he was in tremendous pain. However, he gave me the locker combination to open his locker and get his personal things. I asked one of coaches to help me find the locker and have them open it. Suddenly the coach or supervisor simply gave me bad look and ignored me and walked away. This Athletic director is a grown ass man, he has daughter who does flips. No supervisor should act this kind of behavior if he is going to be teaching students how to play football he should be willingly to help especially their injured too. I expect no less from coach or supervisor like him. This was the worst impression I have encountered. He represented this school poorly and he is probably given other people bad impressions.

Diana Sanchez: My son went to Adelante several years ago. He was a good student and had good grades, but came from a small school and was not use to the violence and disrespect the students had for teachers. He dropped out of high school without a call from the school to inform me and later enrolled into Adelante, where he caught up and exceeded. He was able to graduate a year earlier but went back to his small town and finished his senior year and graduated with his friends. Adelante made him feel welcomed, encouraged and pushed him to do his best, where their to assist in anyway to help further his education. He did not feel the pressure of a big school to fit in. I like to thank Adelante for the wonderful job they all did with my son.

Tom McDermott: My two sons graduated in 1983..my daughter in 1988...we sold a large home so we could move to EGR ...super school.
Steve EGRnative616: I graduated from here, great teachers, even though some of them are extremely left sided. High quality education, great Tradition, highly competitive sports teams, well above average for a public school. I would put my kids here. But with every small HS in a small city, there is a lot of talking that goes on. Go East!

Toni McDaniel: I went here for my nephew's football game. Easy to get to. People were directing traffic which made out easier to find a parking spot.
